Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Jason Westrol, Bentley (Jr., G, Brielle, N.J.) - Was named the
Most Outstanding Player in the Group Learning section at the Disney
Division II Tip-Off Classic after averaging 24.7 points, 3.7
rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.3 steals. Shot 54 percent overall, made
59 percent of his two-pointers and shot 67 percent from the free
throw line. Had a career-best 27 points vs. #8 Minnesota State, 25
vs. St. Martin’s and 22 against Southern Indiana, including
the game-winning lay-up at the buzzer.

Weekly Honor Roll:
Brian Tracey, Bentley (So., F, Bow Mar, Colo.) - Was named to the
Group Learning All-Tournament Team at the Disney Division II
Tip-Off Classic after averaging 14.7 points and 7.7 rebounds. Shot
50 percent overall, made 7 of 13 three-pointers and sank 15 of 18
free throws. Set career-bests with 26 points and 10 rebounds
against #8 Minnesota State in the season-opener, and helped spark a
second-half comeback against Southern Indiana, finishing with 14
points and nine boards.
Weekly Notes:
BENTLEY: Bentley’s NCAA Division II record 55 consecutive regular season winning streak came to an end Saturday against St. Martin’s, an amazing 994 days after the last regular season loss (Feb. 18, 2006 at Bryant). Junior Jason Westrol was named the Most Outstanding Player in the Group Learning division of the Disney Division II Tip-Off Classic, and the All-Tournament Team included sophomore Brian Tracey. Senior Lew Finnegan (Lexington, Mass.) scored his 1,000th point as a collegian, including his year at Cal Poly.

Northeast-10 Men’s Athlete of the Week
Ruben Sanca, UMass Lowell (Sr., Boston, Mass.) - Won the
individual title and led UMass Lowell to the NCAA East Regional
Championship. Was named NCAA East Region Runner of the Year as he
ran the 10K course in 30:36.3, besting the remainder of the field
by more than 30 seconds.
Northeast-10 Women’s Athlete of the
Week
Christina DaLomba, UMass Lowell (Sr., Marstons Mills, Mass.) -
Placed first overall and led UMass Lowell to the NCAA East Region
Championship for the second time in four years. Ran the 6K course
in 22:10.0 and earned All-East Region Team honors for the fourth
successive year.
Northeast-10 Men’s Freshman of the Week
Jeff Veiga, UMass Lowell (Fr., Lowell, Mass.) - Placed 14th
overall and helped UMass Lowell to the NCAA East Region
Championship. Ran the 10K course in 32:16.3.
Northeast-10 Women’s Freshman of the
Week
Jill Alves, Stonehill (Fr., Whitman, Mass.) – Place sixth
overall at the NCAA East Region Championship. Ran the 6k course in
23:09 to earn All-Region honors.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Melissa Nash, Bentley (Sr., Marshfield, Mass.) - Qualified for the
NCAA Division II championships for the third straight year with her
third consecutive runner-up finish in the NCAA Div. II East
Regional. Covered the 6,000-meter Franklin Park course in
22:25.7.
Gina Micaroni, Le Moyne (Fr., Blossvale, N.Y.) - Finished in 15th
place in a time of 23:50.1 to earn All-Region honors at the East
Region Cross Country Championships.
Kelsey Ryan, Le Moyne (Sr., Warsaw, N.Y.) - Finished in eighth
place in a time of 23:19.7 to earn All-Region honors at the East
Region Cross Country Championships.
Sarah Brassard, UMass Lowell (Sr., Oxford, Mass.) - Placed fourth
overall and led UMass Lowell to the NCAA East Region Championship.
Ran the 6K course in 22:37.7.
Lyra Clark, UMass Lowell (So., Nashua, N.H.) - Placed eighth
overall and helped UMass Lowell to the NCAA East Region
Championship. Named to the NCAA All-East Region Team for the second
straight year and ran the 6K course in 23:17.8.
Jason DeDonato, UMass Lowell (Sr., Nashua, N.H.) - Placed 10th
individually and helped UMass Lowell to the NCAA East Region
Championship. Ran the 10K course in 31:59.6.
Angus MacDonald, UMass Lowell (So., Methuen, Mass.) - Placed fifth
overall and helped UMass Lowell to the NCAA East Region
Championship. Ran the 10K course in 31:36.4.
Chris Croff, Southern Connecticut (Jr., Lisbon, Conn.) –
Finished second with a time of 31:07 at the NCAA East Region
Championships. Earned All-East Region Honors.
John Fennekohl, Southern Connecticut (So., Mamora, N.J.) - At the
NCAA East Region Championship, finished ninth overall with a time
of 31:56 to earn All-East Honors.
Joseph Poulsen, Southern Connecticut (So., Oxford, Conn.) –
Finished fourth overall at the NCAA East Region Championship.
Earned All-Region honors in the process and finished with a time of
31:29.
Kristina Coriarty, Stonehill (Sr., Brockton, Mass.) –
Finished seventh overall at the NCAA East Region Championship.
Completed the 6k course in a time of 23:14 to earn All-Region
honors.
Josh Andrews, Stonehill (Jr., Chelmsford, Mass.) – Finished
11th overall at the NCAA East Region Championship. Completed the
10k course in a time of 32:06 to earn All-Region honors.
Jenny Gardynski, Stonehill (Sr., Everett, Mass.) – Place
tenth overall at the NCAA East Region Championship with a time of
23:22 to earn All-Region honors.
Kevin Gill, Stonehill (So., Brockton, Mass.) – Finished
seventh overall at the NCAA East Region Championship. Completed the
10k course in a time of 31:43 to earn All-Region honors.
Matt Meagher, Stonehill (Sr., Mansfield, Mass.) – Place
sixth overall at the NCAA East Region Championship with a time of
31:37. Earned All-Region honors in the process.
Weekly Notes:
BENTLEY: Senior Melissa Nash (Marshfield, Mass.) will be
heading to the NCAA Division II championships for the third
straight year after her third consecutive runner-up finish in the
Regional.
UMASS LOWELL: UMass Lowell captured its second NCAA Men's
East Region Championship in nine years Sunday at Franklin Park.
Senior Ruben Sanca won the individual title and was named the NCAA
East Region Runner of the Year, earning a place on the All-East
Region Team for the fourth straight year. Sanca was one of six UML
runners named to the team. On the women's side, senior Christina
DaLomba won the individual title and led UMass Lowell to its second
NCAA East Region title in four years.
SAINT ROSE: The Saint Rose men's and women's cross country teams registered its best finishes ever with a pair of fifth place showings at the NCAA East Regional Championships on Sunday. The women's squad had five runners among the top-41 in a field that included 166 participants. Meanwhile, the men had three runners cross the finish line in the top-35 of a field with 167 entries.

Sammy Macy, UMass Lowell (So., F, Tewksbury, Mass.) - Scored two
goals and added an assist in the come-from-behind win versus
Southern Connecticut, 6-3 during the quarterfinals of the NCAA
Tournament.

up two assists in the win over Southern Connecticut in the NCAA

two goals in the 6-3 win over Southern Connecticut in the NCAA
quarterfinals.

Northeast-10 Offensive Player and Freshman of the
Week
Marc Wilson, Saint Anselm (Fr., QB, Farmington, Conn.) - Rushed
for a single-game high 285 yards on 35 carries to lead the Hawks to
a team-record 448 yards on the ground in the 28-14 win at Pace.
Scored one touchdown on a 67-yard run up the middle and then threw
for a passing touchdown later in the game. In addition, also punted
three times, including two that pinned Pace down inside the 10 yard
line. The 285 yards rushing is a season-high mark in the NE-10 this
season.
Northeast-10 Defensive Player of the Week
Brian Tormollan, Saint Anselm (Sr., LB, Waterville, Maine) -
Finished his final career game with eight tackles, one fumble
recovery and one interception in a 28-14 win at Pace.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Joey Fabiano, Assumption (Sr., WR, Westwood, Mass.) - In his final
game against Merrimack caught a career high 11 passes for a total
of 119 yards and one touchdown. Averaged 10.8 yards per catch with
a long reception of 44 yards.
John Studley, Bentley (Sr., WR, Peabody, Mass.) - Became the sixth
player in school history to reach the 1,000-yard receiving mark for
a season, with nine catches for 121 yards versus Stonehill.
James Suozzo, Merrimack (Fr., QB, Everett, Mass.) - Tallied a
career-high four touchdown passes on 24-of-39 passing for 338
yards, in the 34-7 win over Assumption.
Nathaniel Ford, Pace (Jr., RB, Jamaica, N.Y.) - Rushed for 191
yards on the ground on 25 carries against Saint Anselm. Had a
57-yard touchdown run and averaged 7.6 yards per carry.
Luke St. Marie, Saint Anselm (Jr., RB, Mill Creek, Wash.) -
Carried the ball 27 times for 144 yards and two touchdowns in a
28-14 road win at Pace. One of the scoring plays came from 19 yards
out as he broke two tackles to find the end zone.
Ty Marshall, Southern Connecticut (Sr., WR, College Park, Ga.) -
Had eight catches for 162 yards and a touchdown in the win over No.
16 American International. Caught the game-winning touchdown late
in the third quarter. Seven of his catches were for first downs,
and each was at least 14 yards - including a 63-yard reception.
Andrew Pratt, Southern Connecticut (Jr., LB, West Haven, Conn.) -
Anchored the Owls' defense with a team-high nine tackles (eight
solo) and three sacks in the win over American International.
Stephan Neville, Stonehill (Fr., DB, Foxboro, Mass.) - Picked off
two passes and recorded two solo tackles in the 35-7 win over
Bentley.
Cruz Parsons, Stonehill (Sr., QB, Signal Hill, Calif.) - Playing
in his final collegiate contest, was 9-of-15 for 167 yards and
three touchdowns as the Skyhawks snapped a 14-game losing streak to
Bentley.
Weekly Notes:
AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL: AIC, which is making its
first-ever appearance in the NCAA tournament, is seeded third in
Super Region I and will host sixth-seeded Seton Hill Saturday at
John Homer Miller Field. The Yellow Jackets had three school-record
streaks come to an end after losing to Southern Connecticut -
consecutive wins (15), consecutive wins at home (13) and
consecutive wins to start a season (9).
ASSUMPTION: Joey Fabiano (Westwood, Mass.) caught
11 passes, which is fourth best in Hounds' history for 119 yards
versus Merrimack. In his career he caught 123 passes third best in
Hounds' history for 1,361 yards fourth-best in Hounds' history. His
62 receptions this season tied for the most in a single season and
his eight touchdown catches this season tied the single-season
record. Chris Martino (Lincroft, N.J.) completed his career at
151-156--307 (sixth best in Hounds' history) and Dustin Zitzmann
(Pinellas Park, Fla.) became the ninth Greyhound to reach 300
tackles. He now has 109-192--301 in his career.
BENTLEY: Senior John Studley (Peabody, Mass.) recorded
the sixth 1,000-yard receiving season in school history, finishing
with 1,031. His 82 catches this season was the second highest total
in school history, and he finished his career third on
Bentley’s all-time lists (154 for 1,893). Sophomore center
Jared Kawadler (Sharon, Mass.) was named to the ESPN the Magazine
Academic All-District 1 first team. Junior LB Matt Zahoruiko (North
Andover, Mass.) became the first Bentley player in eight years to
record at least 100 tackles in a season, finishing at 107.
MERRIMACK: With his sixth interception of the year,
senior Mike O'Brien set the single-season school record for picks
in a year.
SAINT ANSELM: Freshman quarterback Marc Wilson
rushed for a single-game high 285 yards on 35 carries to lead the
Hawks to a team-record 448 yards on the ground in the 28-14 win at
Pace. Wilson becomes the first 1,000 yard rusher in Saint Anselm
history as he finishes his rookie season with 1,214 yards, breaking
the old single-season mark of 951 yards. He also shattered the
single-season record for rushing attempts as he finished with 270,
breaking the previous record of 193.
SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT: The Owls have qualified for
the NCAA Playoffs for the fourth straight year. They closed the
regular season with seven straight wins and won their last 25
regular season games that take place on or after Oct. 1. The last
loss in October came back in 2004. SCSU is 1-3 all-time in the NCAA
Playoffs. In the win over American International on Saturday,
Andrew Pratt became the first Owl since Rashard Howard in 2005 to
record three sacks in a game.

Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Matt St. Pierre, Assumption (So., F, Alexandria, Va.) - Scored
three goals in the UBS tournament this past weekend to lead
Assumption to a third place finish. In the season opener scored two
goals against Worcester State. In the third place game scored the
first goal of the game in the 3-1 victory over Salve Regina.
Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Jamie DiGiulio, Assumption (Jr., G, Peabody, Mass.) - In two games
this past week made 53 saves. In the third place game of the UBS
tournament against Salve Regina made 29 saves including 18 in the
third period to secure the 2-1 victory. In the first game against
Worcester State made 24 saves in the 1-0 loss.
Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Anthony Chighisola, Franklin Pierce (Fr., F, Whitman, Mass.) -
Scored the tying goal with 4:27 to play in regulation during the
season-opening, 2-2 tie at Westfield State.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Marc Labb , Assumption (So., D, Longmeadow, Mass.) - In the UBS
tournament assisted on two goals in the third place game win over
Salve Regina.
Jeff Kasper, Franklin Pierce (Sr., F, South Boston, Mass.) - Scored
the first goal in the 2-2 tie at Westfield State.

Matt Delaney, Southern New Hampshire (Sr., D, Wallasey, England) -
Named the Most Valuable Player of the Northeast-10 Championship
after anchoring a defense that posted three shutouts, including two
this past week, and did not allow a shot on goal the entire
championship. Also scored the lone goal in the championship game
victory over Le Moyne.
Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Sean Lambert, Southern New Hampshire (Sr., GK, Rehoboth, Mass.) -
Registered a pair of shutouts as the Penmen captured their third
Northeast-10 Championship. Did not face a shot on goal in a 0-0 tie
with Franklin Pierce or the 1-0 win over Le Moyne.
Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Jesse Carr, Le Moyne (Fr., M, Skaneateles, N.Y.) - Scored a goal
in a 1-1 week. Tallied a goal in the 30th minute of a 2-1
double-overtime win at UMass Lowell in the semifinals of the
Northeast-10 Championship.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Vinny Papageorgiou, Franklin Pierce (Fr., GK, Wilmington, Mass.) -
Made five saves to preserve his seventh shutout of the season in
the 0-0 double-overtime draw at 13th-ranked Southern New Hampshire
in the semifinal round of the NE-10 Championship.
Sean Lawlor, Le Moyne (So., D, Kirkham, Preston) - Scored a goal
in a 1-1 week. Tallied the game-winning goal in a 2-1 win at UMass
Lowell in the third minute of the second overtime period in the
semifinals of the Northeast-10 championship. Anchored a defense
that allowed just one goal in 192 minutes of action. Was named to
the Northeast-10 All-Championship team.
Steve White, Le Moyne (Jr., GK, Cortland, N.Y.) - Tallied a 0.94
goals against average and eight saves in a 1-1 week. Allowed one
goal, while making five saves, in 102:06 of action in a 2-1
double-overtime win at UMass Lowell in the semifinals of the
Northeast-10 Championship.
Stephen Potcner, UMass Lowell (So., F, Wilmington, Mass.) - Scored
the team’s lone goal in a 2-1 overtime loss to Le Moyne in
the NE-10 Championship semifinal.
Jamie Wangia, UMass Lowell (Sr., M, Lowell, Mass.) - Set up the
team’s goal in a 2-1 overtime loss to Le Moyne in the NE-10
semifinals and earned a spot on the Northeast-10 All-Championship
Team.
Richard Kentish, Southern New Hampshire (Jr., D, Kingston,
Jamaica) - Named to the Northeast-10 All-Championship Team after
being part of a defense that posted three shutouts in the
championship, including two this past week, and did not allow a
shot on goal throughout the championship.
Kevin Woods, Southern New Hampshire (Jr., M, Alyth, Scotland) -
Named to the Northeast-10 All-Championship Team. Registered an
assist on the lone goal in a 1-0 win over Le Moyne in the
championship final.
Weekly Notes:
SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE: The Penmen captured the
third Northeast-10 tournament title in program history with a 1-0
win over Le Moyne Saturday. SNHU also won tourney titles in 2000
and 2002. Southern New Hampshire tied a school record with its 15th
shutout of the season Saturday against Le Moyne, tying a
single-season record set in 1997 and tied previously in 2000.

Northeast-10 Player and Goalkeeper of the
Week
Shannon Murphy, Saint Rose (Jr., GK, Charlton, Mass.) - Allowed
one goal in 200 minutes of action en route to a 1-0-1 record last
week and registered 10 saves, a .909 save percentage and a 0.45
goals-against-average as well. Turned aside four shots to chalk up
a 2-0 shutout win versus UMass Lowell in a NE-10 semifinal contest
and then made six saves in a 1-1 double-overtime draw at Franklin
Pierce. Made an important stop in the shootout that followed,
allowing Saint Rose to capture its second straight NE-10 title.
Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Christina Cuffari, Saint Rose (Fr., M, Brick, N.J.) - Set up the
lone goal in a 1-1 double-overtime draw at Franklin Pierce via a
corner kick early in the second half. Then stepped up and converted
a penalty kick in a shootout to help the Golden Knights take their
second straight NE-10 title.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Gabriela Demoner, Franklin Pierce (Jr., M, Curitiba, Brazil) -
Played a role in two of the Ravens three goals in a 1-0-1 week.
Netted the match-winning goal with just one-second to play in the
Northeast-10 semifinal against Southern Connecticut. Assisted on
the tying goal in the 1-1 double-overtime draw with 21st-ranked
Saint Rose in the 84th minute of the championship match. Was also
named to the All-Championship Team.
Brittany Ester, Franklin Pierce (Sr., GK, Toms River, N.J.) -
Averaged 2.5 saves per match, while posting a 0.90 GAA in a 1-0-1
week. Made three saves in the 2-1 come-from-behind win over
Southern Connecticut in the NE-10 semifinal round. Stopped two
shots in the 1-1 double-overtime draw with Saint Rose in the
championship.
Angelika Johansson, Franklin Pierce (So., F, Falkenberg, Sweden) -
Played a role in two of the Ravens three goals in a 1-0-1 week.
Netted the tying goal in the 84th minute in the 1-1 double-overtime
draw with Saint Rose in the championship match. Assisted on the
tying goal in the 87th minute in the NE-10 semifinal victory over
Southern Connecticut.
Rachel Smith, Franklin Pierce (Jr., D, Chichester, N.H.) - Earned
All-Championship Team honors for the Northeast-10 Championship.
Scored the tying goal in the 87th minute to spark the Ravens 2-1
comeback victory over Southern Connecticut State in the semifinal
round of the NE-10 tournament.
Jamie Gillis, UMass Lowell (Jr., GK, North Billerica, Mass.) -
Named to the Northeast-10 All-Championship team despite a 0-2 loss
at Saint Rose, in which she made two saves.
Kailey Egbert, Saint Rose (Sr., F, Camp Hill, Pa.) - Recorded
three points on one goal and one assist during a 1-0-1 week. Set up
the second tally in a 2-0 NE-10 semifinal win versus UMass Lowell
and then scored the lone goal for the Golden Knights off a header
in a 1-1 double-overtime draw at Franklin Pierce. Additionally,
converted her penalty kick in the ensuing shootout that afforded
the team to its second straight NE-10 title.
Gina Della, Southern Connecticut (Jr., F, Prospect, Conn.) -
Recorded the lone goal in the 2-1 loss at Franklin Pierce in the
Northeast-10 semifinals.
Weekly Notes:
FRANKLIN PIERCE: Franklin Pierce awaits word on
its NCAA Division II record 17th-straight NCAA Tournament berth
when bids are announced Monday night. Head Coach Jeff Bailey earned
his 250th career win with Thursday's NE-10 semifinal victory over
Southern Connecticut. He now boasts a career record of 250-21-16
(.899) over 13 seasons at the Ravens helm. Junior All-American
Gabriela Demoner netted her 50th career goal with her miraculous
last-second goal against Southern Connecticut in the NE-10
semifinals. She now ranks 8th in program history for career goals.
Demoner also appears in the ‘Faces in the Crowd’
section of the October/November issue of SI Latino. Four members of
the Ravens earned ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District honors.
Sophomore Angelika Johansson (Falkenberg, Sweden) earned first team
honors, while junior Rachel Smith (Chichester, N.H.) was selected
to the second team and seniors Brittany Ester (Toms River, N.J.)
and Melissa Hagmire (Livonia, N.Y.) collected third team
honors.
SAINT ROSE: The Golden Knights became only the fourth
team since 1985 to capture back-to-back NE-10 titles after taking a
5-3 triumph in penalty kicks following a 1-1 double-overtime draw
at Franklin Pierce on Sunday. The league championship was also the
second in school history for Saint Rose after the institution
joined the conference at the outset of the 2000-01 season.

Northeast-10 Men’ s Swimming Athlete of the
Week
Sam Laden, Bentley (Jr., Chesire, Conn.) - In a pair of dual
meets, won four of the five individual events he swam. Finished
second in the other and helped Bentley win a pair of relays.
Against Gordon, placed first in the 50 breaststroke (29.11), 100
freestyle (57.18) and 100 individual medley (57.18), and swam a leg
on winning 200 medley relay team (1:43.00). Against Bryant, touched
first in the 100 breast (1:02.21), helped Falcons win the 400
medley relay (3:42.88) and was second in the 100 free (49.85).
Northeast-10 Women’s Swimming Athlete of the
Week
Kristen Frost, Southern Connecticut (Jr., Madison, Conn.)
–Recorded three victories this past week. Won the 200 yard
backstroke with a time of 2:06.71, setting a new record. Also won
the 100 yard backstroke (58.99) and the 100 yard butterfly
(58.21).
Northeast-10 Men’s Diving Athlete of the
Week
Zach Hisert, Le Moyne (Sr., Amsterdam, N.Y.) – Picked up a
victory in the one-meter diving event with 222.75 points.
Northeast-10 Women’s Diving Athlete of the
Week
Amanda Burden, Southern Connecticut (Fr., Orange, Conn.) –
Took home first in both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events. In
the 1-meter event posted a 206.90 and in the 3-meter diving event
she recorded a score of 234.70.
Northeast-10 Men’s Freshman of the Week
Dan Healey, Saint Michael's (Fr., South Burlington, Vt.) - Won
three individual events, and was part of a winning relay team, in a
tri-meet victory at Colby-Sawyer. Took the 50-yard backstroke
(26.93, winning by nearly two seconds), the 100-yard backstroke
(57.47, winning by nearly five seconds), and the 50-yard freestyle
(23.98). Also swam the first leg of the 200-yard medley relay in
27.01.
Northeast-10 Women’s Freshman of the
Week
Eileen Mullowney , Saint Michael's (Fr. , Burlington, Vt.) - Won
three individual events, and was part of a winning relay team, in a
tri-meet victory at Colby-Sawyer. Set a program record in the
100-yard individual medley (1:03.92, winning by more than five
seconds), and also won the 100-yard backstroke (1:03.98, winning by

Jill Capadanno, Assumption (Fr., Dracut, Mass.) - Won the
200-individual medley (2:27.91), the 100-yard individual medley
(1:07.63) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:42.69) events and was on
one leg of the first place 200 medley relay in a dual meet with
Regis and St. Joseph's.
Susie Boretti , Bentley (Fr. , Westford, Mass.)- Captured the 100
yard breaststroke in both meets, with times of 1:14.52 against
Gordon and 1:11.93 at Bryant. Finished second in the 200 free
(2:10.87) against Gordon and fourth in the same event against
Bryant (2:07.22), and was a member of 400 medley relay that was
second at Bryant (4:22.52).
Anne Kaduboski, Bentley (So., Dedham, Mass.) - Won all five
individual events that she swam in a pair of dual meets, and also
helped Bentley finish second in the 400 free relay against Bryant
with a time of 4:00.04. Placed first in the 1000 freestyle
(11:13.15) and 100 butterfly (1:00.95) in the Bryant meet after
recording wins in the 200 free (2:03.64), 50 free (26.34) and 100
backstroke (1:03.52) against Gordon earlier in the week.
Kay Mike Christine , Le Moyne (Fr. , Clifton Park, N.Y.) - Won an
individual event and was a member of a winning relay team in the
124-113 loss at Hartwick. Recorded a victory in the 50-yard
freestyle in 22.09 seconds and was a member of 400-yard medley
relay that set a pool-record in 3:35.69.
Kayla Ehle, Le Moyne (Jr., Baldwinsville, N.Y. ) - Won two
individual events and teamed on a relay win in a 128-114 over
Hartwick . Picked up a win with a time of 2:03.27 in the 200-yard
freestyle and was victorious in the 100-yard freestyle in 56.54
seconds. Member of relay team that set a pool record in the
400-yard freestyle in 3:44.01.
Sean Hosford , Le Moyne (So., Garden City, N.Y. ) -Won two
individual events and was a member of a winning relay team in the
124-113 loss at Hartwick. Earned wins with times of 1:49.52 in the
200-yard freestyle and 48.81 seconds in the 100-yard freestyle.

Katie O'Donnell , Le Moyne (Fr. , Delmar, N.Y. ) - Won two
individual events and teamed on a relay win in a 128-114 over
Hartwick. Set two individual pool records on the afternoon by
topping the field in a time of 2:11.46 in the 200-yard IM and won
the 200-yard backstroke in 2:09.10. Member of relay team that set a
pool record in the 400-yard freestyle in 3:44.01.
Chelsea Oberhauser , Pace (Fr. , Cream Ridge, NJ ) - Had three
first place finishes in a pair of meets. Won the 200-yard IM with a
time of 2:25.58. Finished in first place in the 50-yard freestyle
with a time of 27.01 and 100-yard backstroke with a time of
1:04.36.
Hannah Houley, Saint Michael's (So., Brookline, Mass. ) -Won both
one-meter dives in a tri-meet victory at Colby-Sawyer, totaling
281.6 points in the two events.
Ryan Brauer, Saint Rose (Fr. , Clifton Park, NY) - Won three
events to help Saint Rose upend Utica College in dual meet action
on Saturday. Victorious in the 100 back, the 100 butterfly and the
500 free with respective times of 58.09, 53.42 and 4:51.88.
Amy Lamparelli, Saint Rose (So., Scotia, NY) - Lamparelli won two
events to lead Saint Rose past Utica College in dual meet action on
Saturday...Lamparelli swam the 200 individual medley in 2:19.85 and
had a 1:02.63 clocking in the 100 butterfly.
Caitlin Peterson , Saint Rose (Fr. , Sherrill, NY) - Peterson won
two events to help Saint Rose defeat Utica College in dual meet
action on Saturday. Set a school record with a time of 5:21.31 in
the 500-yard freestyle and hit the wall with a 25.69 clocking in
the 50 free.
John Senkewich, Saint Rose (Sr., Mountainville, NY ) - Won two
races to help Saint Rose come away with a dual meet victory versus
Utica College on Saturday. Swam the 100 free in 49.97 and hit the
wall with a time of 1:52.31 in the 200 free.
Benjamin Prue, Southern Connecticut (Sr., Alpharetta, Ga.) - In
the 100 Yard Backstroke he took the gold with a final time of 53.45
and placed second in the 100 and 200 Yard Butterfly events.
Cody Hall , Southern Connecticut (Jr. , Parker, Colo.) - Hall
completed three first place finishes on the afternoon for the first
time this season. She took home first place in the 200 Yard
Freestyle (1:57.87), 200 Yard IM (2:13.53) and the 200 Yard
Butterfly event with a time of 2:12.43.
Aaron Rocheleau , Southern Connecticut (So., Newington, Conn.) -
Won two more races for the Owls in the losing effort. He finished
the 200 Yard Backstroke with a time of 1:55.83 and won the 200 Yard
IM finishing the race with a time of 1:58.17. Took second in the
200-Yard Freestyle event.
Emily Sundel, Southern Connecticut (Jr., West Hartford, Conn.) -
Won two events on the afternoon, helping the Owls to their third
win of the season. Finished first in the 1000 Yard Freestyle with a
time of 10:36.03 and later finished first in the 500 Yard Freestyle
race.

Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Rhe-Ann Niles, New Haven (Gr., MH, St. Thomas, Barbados) - Helped
lead the team to their first ever Northeast-10 regular season title
and a perfect 14-0 conference record. Led the Chargers with a .456
hitting percentage in three wins. Recorded 31 kills (5.16 per set)
on 57 attempts with five errors. Also made 10 total blocks (three
solo, seven assists) and grabbed 12 digs.
Northeast-10 Setter of the Week
Andrea Wirth, Stonehill (So., S, Mesa, Ariz.) - Averaged 13
assists per set and 3.75 digs per set in a 2-0 week, including 51
assists, 18 digs and two service aces in a four set victory over
Assumption.
Northeast-10 Libero of the Week
Alyssa Pickert, Merrimack (So., L, Tinley Park, Ill.) - Led the
Warriors with 5.75 digs per set, getting 69 in 12 games this past
week.
Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Michelle Thornhill, Stonehill (Fr., OH, Canyon Lake, Calif.) - In
a 2-0 week, had 37 kills (4.63 per set) and 26 digs (3.25 per set),
including 20 kills, 16 digs and two service aces against Franklin
Pierce to earn Stonehill’s first playoff berth in four
years.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Alex Kearney, Bentley (Jr., OH, La Jolla, Calif.) - Helped the
Falcons to a 3-0 week by averaging 3.27 kills, 2.18 digs and 0.64
aces, and hitting .237. Had a season-high 18 kills and a .593
hitting percentage in three-set win over Southern New Hampshire.
Finished with 13 kills, eight digs and three aces in a 3-2 win at
Saint Rose.
Cassie Kraft, Bentley (Jr., L, New Braunfels, Texas) - Averaged
3.82 digs and 0.55 service aces in three conference wins. Posted 13
digs and three aces in a 3-0 win over Southern New Hampshire, 11
digs in three sets at Le Moyne, and 18 digs and two aces against
Saint Rose in a 3-2 win.
Tori Piskulick, Bentley (Sr., S, San Diego, Calif.) - Helped
Bentley run its winning streak to six by averaging 5.55 assists,
1.91 digs and 0.73 aces in three conference wins. Recorded 19
assists in a 3-0 win over Southern New Hampshire, served four aces
(including the 200th of her career) against Le Moyne in a three-set
victory, and had 32 assists, season-best 15 digs and four aces in a
3-2 triumph at Saint Rose.
Chelsie Kohout, Franklin Pierce (So., L, Harrison Township, Mich.)
- Averaged 4.22 digs per set in a 1-1 week. Recorded a match-high
19 digs at Massachusetts Lowell. Followed that up with 19 more digs
at Stonehill.
Caitlynn Parnell, Franklin Pierce (Jr., OH, Medina, Texas) -
Averaged 2.78 kills and 3.11 digs in a 1-1 week. Notched 18 kills
and 12 digs in the win at UMass Lowell and collected seven kills
and 16 digs in the loss at Stonehill.
Elizabeth Cheek, Le Moyne (Jr., OH, Huntington Beach, Calif.) -
Recorded 16 kills and 22 digs in an 0-2 week. Landed 10 kills and
added 19 digs and two service aces in a 3-2 loss to Merrimack.
Sarah Coscia, UMass Lowell (So., MH, Pittsfield, Mass.) - Averaged
3.25 kills, 1.00 blocks and 1.62 digs per set in a 1-1 week.
Highlights include 15 kills and three blocks in a 3-2 loss to
Franklin Pierce; and 11 kills, 11 digs and five blocks in a 3-0
sweep of American International.
Molly Cindric, Merrimack (So., OH, Westlake Village, Calif.) - In
a 2-1 week, averaged 3.5 kills and 3.17 digs in 12 games. Tallied a
season-high 24 kills against Le Moyne. Added ten blocks and two
aces.
Elyse Lorenz, Merrimack (So., S, Frankfort, Ill.) - Averaged 10.25
assists per game in 12 games, in a 2-1 week. Also averaged 2.3 digs
per game.
Brittani Cotton, New Haven (Sr., OH, East Patchogue, N.Y.) -
Helped lead New Haven to their first ever Northeast-10 regular
season title and a perfect 14-0 conference record. Averages 2.50
kills, 3.70 digs and 0.30 aces per set this past week. Tallied 25
kills on 87 attempts with 10 errors and 37 digs. Crossed the 1,000
dig plateau in the three-set victory over American
International.
Yael Rosner, New Haven (Sr., S, Haifa, Israel) - Helped lead New
Haven to their first ever Northeast-10 regular season title and a
perfect 14-0 conference record. Led the Chargers with 10.40 assists
per set this past week (104 total). Also averaged 2.40 digs and
1.60 kills per set and had a hitting percentage of .375 for the
week.
Shea Hansen, Pace (Fr., S, Mesa, Ariz.) - Averaged 8.67 assists in
a 1-2 weekend. Totaled 40 assists and 14 digs in five sets against
Southern Connecticut. Tallied 27 assists in four sets against
Southern New Hampshire. Recorded 37 assists and 10 digs in a 3-0
win over Saint Michael's.
Leah Filonuk, Southern Connecticut (Fr., RS, Greenlawn, N.Y.) -
Led the Owls with 41 kills in a 3-1 week. Averaged 2.73 kills and
2.87 digs per set and had 43 digs and eight service aces.
Brianna Doucet, Southern New Hampshire (Sr., OH, Danville, N.H.) -
Totaled 46 kills (3.29 k/s) and 41 digs (2.93 d/s) in a 1-3 week.
Totaled 18 kills and 12 digs in a 3-1 win over Pace and had 16
kills and 21 digs in a 3-2 setback to Southern Connecticut.
Therese Mance, Stonehill (So., L, Milwaukee, Wis.) - Had 30 digs
(3.75 per set) in a 2-0 week, including 21 digs in a four set
victory over Franklin Pierce to clinch the Skyhawks first playoff
berth in four years.
Weekly Notes:
BENTLEY: Bentley reached the 20-win plateau for
the eighth straight season and the 21st time in the last 25 years.
Senior setter Tori Piskulick (San Diego, Calif.) became the sixth
player in school history, and the first in a decade, to pass the
200 career mark in service aces. She also surpassed 4,500 career
assists, and is only seven digs shy of 1,200. Junior Alex Kearney
(La Jolla, Calif.) needs only 15 digs to become the fourth
1,000-kill, 1,000-dig player in the program’s history.
MERRIMACK: The Warriors finished the regular
season a perfect 11-0 in away games, marking the first unbeaten
road record in school history.
STONEHILL: With this past weekend’s win
against Franklin Pierce, Stonehill completed a historic 20 win
season, finishing 20-10; the first winning season since 1997. They
also garnered their first NE-10 tournament appearance in five
years.
