Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Laurence Ekperigin, Le Moyne (Jr., F, Cortlandt Manor, N.Y.) -
Averaged 19.5 points, 14 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game in a 1-1
week. Posted a team-high 16 points and nine rebounds in a 65-56
home loss to Bentley. Recorded a game-high 23 points, a career-best
19 rebounds and three blocks in a 66-59 victory at Saint
Anselm.
Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Isiah Wallace, American International (Fr., G, Springfield, Mass.)
- Averaged 17 points and nine rebounds per game while shooting 56
percent (14-25) from the floor in a 1-1 week. Scored 18 points with
11 boards and two assists in a win at Merrimack and netted 16
points with nine rebounds and two assists at UMass Lowell.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Sesoo Ikpah, American International (So., G, Williamstown, N.J.) -
Averaged 14 points and 4.5 rebounds per game in a 1-1 week. Scored
11 points in a win at Merrimack and netted 17 points with seven
boards at UMass Lowell.
Aikeem Vanderhorst, American International (Jr., F, Bay Shore,
N.Y.) - Averaged 14 points and 6.5 rebounds per game while shooting
55.6 percent (10-18) from the floor in a 1-1 week. Scored a
season-high 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to go with two
assists and two steals in a win at Merrimack.
Mitch Bajema, Assumption (Sr., G, Whitinsville, Mass.) - In a 2-0
week, averaged 12.5 points per game. On the week shot 64.3 percent
from the floor including 50-percent from the three point line. In a
win over New Haven had 15 points, three rebounds, two assists, one
steal and one blocked shot. In a win over Southern New Hampshire
had 10 points, three rebounds two assists and one steal.
Savoy Fraine, Assumption (So., F, Grenada Hills, Calif.) - In a
2-0 week averaged 15 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. In a win
over the New Haven scored 16 points and had seven rebounds and one
steal. In a win over Southern New Hampshire scored 14 points had
four rebounds two blocked shots and one steal.
Lew Finnegan, Bentley (Sr., F, Lexington, Mass.) - During a 2-0
week, averaged 14.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, two assists and 1.5
steals. Shot 46 percent overall and made 5-of-13 three-pointers.
Highs of 17 points against Le Moyne, and seven rebounds and four
assists against Pace.
Jason Westrol, Bentley (Jr., G, Brielle, N.J.) - In road wins at
Le Moyne and Pace, averaged 13 points, 6.5 assists, 4.5 rebounds
and three steals. Following an eight-point, seven-assist effort at
Le Moyne, had 18 points, eight assists, six rebounds and three
steals against the Setters. Shot 43.5 percent for the week,
including 7-of-12 against Pace.
Kinard Dozier, Franklin Pierce (So., G, Dedham, Mass.) - Averaged
20.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, three steals and 2.5 assists in a 1-1
week. Shot 50-percent (11-22) from the field and converted 18-of-21
(85.7%) from the free-throw line for the week. Netted a season-high
23 points, hitting 10-of-12 free-throws, to go with ten rebounds
and added a career-high matching four steals and two assists at
Saint Rose. Posted 18 points (5-7 FGs, 8-7 FTs), seven rebounds,
three assists and two steals in the win over New Haven.
Jeff Manchester, Franklin Pierce (So., G, Gorham, Maine) -
Averaged 18 points and three rebounds while shooting 50-percent
(11-22) from the field, including 11-of-18 (61.1%) from three-point
range, in a 1-1 week. Hit 7-of-11 three's for 21 points to go with
three rebounds at Saint Rose. Posted 15 points (4-7 three's) and
three rebounds in the win over New Haven.
Rimas Varanauskas, Franklin Pierce (Sr., F, Kaunas, Lithuania) -
Averaged 16.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and a blocked shot in a 1-1
week. Converted 84.7-percent (14-17) of his free-throw attempts for
the week. Posted a double-double with 24 points, 12 rebounds and
two blocks in the win over New Haven.
Victor Colon, UMass Lowell (Jr., F, Chicago, Ill.) - Registered
averages of 20.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game while shooting
.517 from the field (15-29) and .429 from 3-point range (6-14) in
victories over Southern Connecticut (83-73) and American
International (63-58). Compiled 26 points and eight rebounds in the
victory over Southern Connecticut, shooting 10-15 from the floor
and 3-6 from long range. Followed with 15 points and five rebounds
in the win over American International.
Darin Mency, Merrimack (So., G, Hagerstown, Md.) - Led the
Warriors to a 2-1 week, averaging 14 points, 3.33 assists 4.7
rebounds.
Evan Lane, Saint Rose (Sr., F, Sharon Springs, N.Y.) - Averaged 12
points, 9.5 rebounds and 3.5 blocks during a 1-1 week, while
shooting 52.2 percent (12-for-23) from the field. Registered a
double-double 16 points and 10 boards in a 76-75 win versus
Franklin Pierce. Was 8-of-12 from the field and also added three
blocks. Contributed eight points, nine caroms and four rejections
in a 69-62 setback against #20 Stonehill.
Tory Stapleton, Southern New Hampshire (So., F, Rahway, N.J.) -
Finished with 19 points and eight rebounds in 25 minutes off the
bench against Assumption. Shot 5-of-7 from the floor and 9-of-12
from the free throw line.
A. J. Rudowitz, Stonehill (Jr., F, Monroe Township, N.J.) -
Averaged 15.5 points and 7.5 rebound on 62 percent shooting in a
2-0 week. Had 11 points, seven rebounds and three blocks in the
71-46 win over Saint Michael's. Then in a win at Saint Rose,
dropped in 20 points had eight rebounds, two blocks and three
steals.
Randall Stallworth, Stonehill (Jr., G, Toms River, N.J.) -
Averaged 10.5 points and 5.5 assists in a 2-0 week. In a win over
Saint Michael's had 17 points and seven assists and made five
three-pointers. For the week he had 11 assists and just three
turnovers.
Weekly Notes:
LE MOYNE: Junior forward Laurence Ekperigin
registered a pair of blocks in a 65-56 loss to Bentley on Wednesday
to become the third player in Le Moyne history to record at least
1,000 points, 600 rebounds and 100 blocks.
MERRIMACK: Merrimack has won seven straight away
from the Volpe Center for the first time since the 1998-1999
season.
STONEHILL: With his win on Saturday over Saint Rose, head
coach Dave McLaughlin won his 100th career game. He becomes just
the third head coach in the school's history to win 100+ games. The
Skyhawks made their first appearance in the NABC Poll since the end
of the 2005-06 season when they opened last week ranked No. 20. Now
on an eight game winning streak, the Skyhawks have had atleast a
seven-game winning streak in every full season under McLaughlin.
Included in that stretch in a school-record tying 12 game run in
the 2005-06 season.

Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Jennifer Leedham, Franklin Pierce (Sr., G, Ellesmere Port,
England) - Averaged 24.5 points, five rebounds, five assists, two
steals and a blocked shot in a 2-0 week. Shot 60-percent (15-25)
from the field, including 7-of-8 (87.5%) from three-point range,
and converted 12-of-14 (85.7%) free-throw attempts over the two
wins. Netted a season-high 27 points on 10-of-13 shooting (3-3
three's) from the field to go with four rebounds, three assists and
two steals in the win at Saint Rose. Led the team with 22 points
(4-5 three's, 8-8 FTs), six rebounds, seven assists, two blocks and
two steals in the win over New Haven.
Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Megan Howard, Saint Anselm (Fr., F, St. Paul, Minn.) - Averaged a
double-double for the week with 18 points and 12 rebounds per game,
along with 1.5 assists per contest. Week was highlighted by a
31-point, 15-rebound double-double in a loss to Merrimack.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Stacy Boisvert, American International (Sr., F, Agawam, Mass.) -
Averaged 19.5 points and 2.5 rebounds per game while shooting 50
percent (13-26) from the floor and 76.5 percent (13-17) from the
charity stripe. Scored 18 points with two steals in a win at
Bridgeport and netted 21 points with five rebounds in a win at
UMass Lowell.
Kayla Parker, Assumption (Jr., F, Sanford, Maine) - In a 2-0 week,
averaged a double- double with 11.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per
game. In a win over New Haven had 12 points and 12 rebounds, five
blocked shots and one steal. In a win over Southern New Hampshire,
scored 11 points had nine rebounds, three assists, one blocked shot
and two steals.
Bethany Plasski, Assumption (Sr., G, Fall River, Mass.) - In a 2-0
week, averaged 20 points and 3.5 rebounds per game and shot
94.1-percent from the free throw line making 16-of -17 attempts. In
a win over New Haven, scored 18 points had three rebounds, two
assists and three steals. In a win over Southern New Hampshire,
scored 22 points had four rebounds had two assists and two steals.
Was a perfect 7-of-7 from the free throw line.
Kim Brennan, Bentley (So., G, Locust Valley, N.Y.) - Averaged 17
points, 4.5 rebounds and three assists during a 1-1 week on the
road. Had 18 points and four rebounds in a win at Le Moyne, and 16
points, five rebounds and four assists at Pace. Shot 37 percent
overall and made 12 of 13 free throws.
Kristy McLean, Bentley (Sr., G, Staten Island, N.Y.) - During a
1-1 week, averaged 21.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 steals and 1.5
assists while shooting 43 percent overall and 94 percent from the
line. Had a career-best 26 points, 11 rebounds and five steals in a
75-65 win at Le Moyne, and 17 points in a road loss to Pace.
Johannah Leedham, Franklin Pierce (Jr., F, Ellesmere Port,
England) - Averaged 22 points, 5.5 rebounds, three assists, 2.5
steals and two blocked shots in a 2-0 week. Shot 41.9-percent
(13-31) from the field and converted 14-of-15 (93.3%) free-throws
for the week. Netted 24 points, aided by 10-for-10 shooting at the
line, to go with five rebounds, four assists, four steals and two
blocks in the win at Saint Rose. Closed the week out with 20
points, six rebounds and two blocks in win over New Haven.
Vanessa Holden, Le Moyne (Sr., F, Suffern, N.Y.) - Averaged 16
points and 9.5 rebounds per game in a 1-1 week. Scored 20 points
and grabbed seven rebounds in a 75-65 home loss to Bentley. Posted
team-highs of 12 points and 12 rebounds in a 65-52 win at Saint
Anselm.
Hannah DeGraffinreed, Merrimack (Fr., C, Raleigh, N.C.) - Averaged
10.5 points and 10.5 rebounds, in road wins over Saint Anselm and
Southern Connecticut.
Brittany Shields, Pace (Fr., F, Cold Spring, N.Y.) - Recorded a
double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds on 7-for-11 shooting
in a win over Bentley.
Logan Pintka, Saint Michael's (So., F, Niskayuna, N.Y.) - In a
67-56 loss at Stonehill, had a game-highs in points (18) and
rebounds (8), and also went 8-for-8 from the free throw line.
Dana Brown, Saint Rose (Sr., G, Elmont, N.Y.) - Averaged 18.5
points, two assists and 1.5 rebounds during a 1-1 week. Shot 48.3
percent (14-for-29) from the floor and was 6-for-7 from the stripe.
Finished with 14 points and three assists in an 84-70 loss versus
Franklin Pierce. Tossed in a game-high 23 points in the win over
#10 Stonehill, 70-68. Buried three straight jumpers in the final
2:34, her final one giving Saint Rose the lead for good with 31
seconds on the clock.
Lauren Reves, Saint Rose (Sr., C, Pittsburgh, Pa.) - Averaged 17
points and 6.5 rebounds in a 1-1 week. Shot 52.2 percent
(12-for-23) from the field and was a perfect 10-of-10 from the foul
line. Contributed 14 points, five boards and a pair of steals in an
84-70 loss versus Franklin Pierce. Tossed in 20 points to go with
eight boards and two helpers in a 70-68 triumph versus #10
Stonehill and wound up 8-of-12 from the floor and 4-for-4 from the
stripe in the win.
Jacqueline Johannes, Southern Connecticut (Jr., F, Southbury,
Conn.) - Recorded a game-high 25 points on 9-of-17 shooting and
hauled eight rebounds against Merrimack. Earlier in the week,
scored 16 points and registered six rebounds in the losing effort
to UMass-Lowell.
Ashara Carrington, Southern New Hampshire (Jr., F, Marblehead,
Mass.) - Poured in career-high 24 points in 23 minutes against
Assumption. Went 8-of-14 from the floor, 8-of-12 from the free
throw line and also grabbed five rebounds.
Kristen McWhirter, Stonehill (So., G, Melvin Village, N.H.) -
Averaged 12.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, two assists and two steals in a
1-1 week. Shot 60 percent from the field (9-for-15), 50 percent
from behind the arc (4-for-8) and made all three free throw
attempts. In a loss at Saint Rose, finished with 17 points, nine
rebounds and three steals.
Emily Rousseau, Stonehill (So., G, Biddeford, Maine) - Averaged 16
points and five assists in 1-1 week. Had 14 points and six assists
in a loss at Saint Rose then had 14 points, four rebounds and four
assists in a win over Saint Michael's.

Chris Healey, Saint Michael's (Sr., F, Salem, N.H.) - In a 2-1
week, scored three goals and had an assist, including the
game-winning goal in a 4-3 decision over UMass Boston. Scored two
goals in the win.
Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Tyler Bilton, Saint Michael's (Sr., G, Penticton, British
Columbia) - In a 2-1 week, recorded 88 total saves. Recorded 33
saves in a 4-3 win over UMass Boston.
Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Anthony Chighisola, Franklin Pierce (Fr., F, Whitman, Mass.) -
Registered three goals and three assists for six points in a 1-2-0
week. Scored three goals for his first career hat trick in a 4-0
win at Southern New Hampshire. Tallied assists on all three Ravens
goals at Curry.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Phil LaBreck, Franklin Pierce (Jr., F, Thornton, N.H.) - Dished
out six assists in a 1-2-0 week. Assisted on all four Franklin
Pierce goals in a 4-0 win at Southern New Hampshire. Collected two
more assists in a loss at Curry.
Coursen Schneider, Franklin Pierce (Sr., F, Stony Point, N.Y.) -
Tallied two goals and an assist for three points in a 1-2-0 week.
Notched an assist at Southern New Hampshire. Scored a pair of goals
at Curry.
Jon Tuttle, Franklin Pierce (Jr., G, Concord, N.H.) - Made 64
saves while posting a 1-1-0 record in two games last week. Stopped
all 30 shots at Southern New Hampshire to post the first shutout in
program history. Made 34 save in a losing effort at Curry.
Pat Gallagher, Saint Anselm (Sr., G, Framingham, Mass.) - Made 77
saves this past weekend in two games. Stopped 44 shots versus
Wesleyan University and followed it up by setting aside 33 shots
against Trinity College.
Paul Snell, Saint Anselm (So., F, Groton, Mass.) - Led the way for
the Hawks with four points this past weekend. Against Wesleyan
University, had a shorthanded goal and an assist late in the game.
Also added two assists in the loss to Trinity College.
Ryan Mero, Saint Michael's (Sr., F, Peekskill, N.Y.) - In a 2-1
week, scored a goal and assisted on four others. Scored a goal and
added two assists in a 4-1 win over Franklin Pierce.

SAINT MICHAEL’S: Before the Purple Knights
had their four-game winning streak stopped on Saturday, it was the
program's longest streak since the 1999-00 season when they won
five games in a row.

Northeast-10 Men’ s Swimming Athlete of the
Week
John Senkewich, Saint Rose (Sr., Mountainville, N.Y.) - Came out
on top in the 500 free (5:14.58) and the 100 backstroke (1:00.81)
in a 128-126 victory at Skidmore College. Then swept the 50, 100
and 200 freestyles with 22.94, 49.89 and 1:50.46 performances to
help the Golden Knights defeat Saint Michael's 160-118.
Northeast-10 Women’s Swimming Athlete of the
Week
Kristen Frost, Southern Connecticut (Jr., Madison, Conn.) - Won
three events versus Marist. Won the 200 and 500 yard freestyle
events, completing the races in 1:54.73 and 4:59.58 respectively.
Notched another victory in the 200 yard backstroke, swimming the
event in 1:54.73.
Northeast-10 Men’s Diving Athlete of the
Week
Jake Stamas, Saint Michael's (Jr., Andover, Mass.) - Won both
one-meter diving events in a dual meet versus Saint Rose. Totaled
327.20 points in the two events, including 199.45 points in the
final competition.
Northeast-10 Women’s Co-Diving Athletes of the
Week
Cassandra Gentile, Pace (Fr., Cortland Manor, N.Y.) - Won the
one-meter and three-meter diving events in a dual meet against
Vassar. Recorded 201.68 points in the one-meter event and 228.15
points in the three-meter.
Tierney Carey, Saint Michael's (Sr., Newtown, Conn.) - Won both
one-meter diving events in a dual meet versus Saint Rose. Totaled
350.10 points in the two events, including 207.85 points in the
final competition.
Northeast-10 Men’s Freshman of the Week
Ryan Brauer, Saint Rose (Fr., Clifton Park, N.Y.) - Registered
five first place finishes in a pair of dual meet victories this
past weekend. Won the 100 breaststroke and the 200 backstroke
behind winning times of 1:02.02 and 2:02.02 in a 128-126 decision
at Skidmore. Then took nearly three seconds off the school record
with a 2:13.45 clocking in the 200-yard breaststroke in a 160-118
win at Saint Michael's. Was also victorious in the 200 butterfly
and 1000 freestyle with respective times of 1:59.19 and
9:51.22.
Northeast-10 Women’s Freshman of the
Week
Caitlin Peterson, Saint Rose (Fr., Sherrill, N.Y.) - Touched first
in both the 50 and 500 freestyles with respective 26.35 and 5:20.38
performances in the 156-119 victory over Saint Michael’s. In
a 158-118 win at Skidmore, came through victorious in the 200 free
by hitting the wall in 2:00.07. Then finished the 100 free in 56.20
and registered a 5:17.68 clocking in the 500 free.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Anne Kaduboski, Bentley (So., Dedham, Mass.) - Was a double-winner
in Bentley’s triangular meet against Western New England and
Regis, finishing first in the 100 free (57.66 seconds) and the 200
IM (2:18.31).
Molly Murphy, Bentley (Fr., Horseheads, N.Y.) - In a triangular at
Western New England with Regis, finished first in the 100
breaststroke (1:12.66) and participated on both of the
Falcons’ winning relays (200 medley, 1:59.72, and 200 free,
1:49.30).
Ricky Chidsey, Le Moyne (Sr., Liverpool, N.Y.) - Won an individual
event and teamed for a relay victory in the 196-98 loss to Alfred
University. Topped the field in the 200-yard freestyle in 1:45.28
and swam the anchor leg for the first-place 400-yard freestyle
relay team.
Mike Christine, Le Moyne (Fr., Clifton Park, N.Y.) - Won an
individual event and teamed for a relay victory in the 196-98 loss
to Alfred. Topped the field in the 100-yard butterfly in 54.05
seconds and swam the second leg for the first-place 400-yard
freestyle relay team.
Nicole Murphy, Le Moyne (Jr., Camillus, N.Y.) - Won two individual
events and teamed for a relay victory in the 177-116 win over
Alfred University. Topped the field in the 100-yard breaststroke in
1:09.33 and the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:32.47. Swam the second
leg for the first-place 200-yard medley relay.
Katie O’Donnell, Le Moyne (Fr., Delmar, N.Y.) - Won two
individual events and teamed for a relay victory in the 177-116 win
over Alfred University. Topped the field in the 200-yard freestyle
in 1:59.88 and the 100-yard butterfly in 1:00.43. Swam the lead leg
for the first-place 200-yard medley relay.
Callie Grace, Pace (So., Dalton, Mass.) - Won the 50-yard
freestyle with a time of 26.22 and 100-yard freestyle with a time
of 56.99 in a dual meet against Vassar.
Eileen Mullowney, Saint Michael's (Fr., Burlington, Vt.) - Earned
a pair of individual victories in a dual meet versus Saint Rose.
Won the 200-yard freestyle (2:02.49) by more than five seconds, and
the 100-yard freestyle (56.04) by more than two seconds.
Christine Lockwood, Saint Rose (So., Binghamton, N.Y.) - Won the
1000 free and both the 200 fly and 200 breaststroke in the 156-119
team victory over Saint Michael’s. Hit the wall in 11:21.43
for the 1000 free and swam the 200 fly and 200 breaststroke in
respective times of 2:24.67 and 2:38.92.

Week
Torrey Price, Stonehill (Sr., Sleepy Hollow, N.Y.) - Won the 55
meter dash with a time of 6.42 seconds and placed second in the 200
meter dash (22.52) in the URI Sorlein Invitational.
Northeast-10 Co-Women’s Track Athlete of the
Week
Haley Catarius, UMass Lowell (Jr., Marshfield, Mass.) - Won the
600 meters and helped UMass Lowell capture the Tufts Jumbo
Invitational with a time of 1:37.70.
Lindsey Pinkham, Stonehill (So., Skowhegan, Maine) - Won the 800
meters in the URI Sorlein Invitational with a time of 2:22.17.
Northeast-10 Co-Men’s Track Athlete and Freshman of
the Week
Kevin Downing, New Haven (Fr., Meriden, Conn.) - Won the 200 meter
dash with a time of 22.37 at the Sorlein Invitational. Also
finished sixth in the 55 meter dash with a time of 6.55
seconds.
Northeast-10 Women’s Track Freshman of the
Week
Cachet Chesson, UMass Lowell (Fr., Randolph, Mass.) - Captured two
events and scored in a third to lead UMass Lowell to the Tufts
Jumbo Invitational. Won the 55 meter dash in 7.48 seconds, as well
as the long jump with a distance of 16 feet, 2.25 inches. Also
placed sixth in the 200 meter dash in 27.50.
Northeast-10 Men’s Field Athlete of the
Week
William Nguidjoi, UMass Lowell (Jr., Lawrence, Mass.) - Captured
the long jump and placed second in the triple jump to lead UMass
Lowell to the Tufts Jumbo Invitational team title. Won the long
jump with a leap of 21 feet, 2.5 inches and finished runner-up in
the triple jump with a distance of 42' 11.0''.
Northeast-10 Women’s Field Athlete and Freshman of
the Week
Vlada Shelkova, Stonehill (Fr., Newington, Conn.) - Finished third
in the long jump and fourth in the triple jump at the URI Sorlein
Invitational. Was also the top DII finisher in both events.
Northeast-10 Men’s Field Freshman of the
Week
Alex Joseph, American International (Fr., New Britain, Conn.) -
Placed sixth in the long jump with a distance of 6.54 meters at
URI's Sorlein Invitational.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Dave Kusmin, Bentley (So., Westwood, Mass.) - At the GBTC
Invitational, finished first in the triple jump
(42’7.75”) and second in the long jump
(21’0.25”)
Melissa Nash, Bentley (Sr., Marshfield, Mass.) - At the GBTC
Invitational, finished eighth in the invitational mile, with her
time of 5:13.04 a PR by eight seconds.
Mike Vatti, Bentley (Fr., Easton, Pa.) - Finished fifth in the 200
meters (22.57) and third in the 400 (50.16) during the GBTC
Invitational at Harvard.
Jacqui Barrett, UMass Lowell (Jr., Woburn, Mass.) - Won her second
straight shot put title at the Tufts Jumbo Invitational with a
throw of 43' 7.75''
Sara Brassard, UMass Lowell (Sr., Oxford, Mass.) - Won the 1,000
meters in 3:03.58 and helped UMass Lowell to the team title at the
Tufts Jumbo Invitational.
Doug Caves, UMass Lowell (Jr., Oxford, Mass.) - In his first
action of the season, won the 400 meter dash and helped UMass
Lowell capture the team title at the Tufts Jumbo Invitational with
a time of 49.64 seconds.
Amy Delgado, UMass Lowell (Fr., Bridgewater, Mass.) - Won the 400

Andrew Grange, UMass Lowell (Sr., Methuen, Mass.) - Won the 600
meters and helped UMass Lowell capture the team title at the Tufts
Jumbo Invitational. Won the 600 in 1:22.94.
Roy Monson, UMass Lowell (Fr., Stoneham, Mass.) - Won the 55 meter
dash and helped UMass Lowell capture the team title at the Tufts
Jumbo Invitational. Won the 55 in 6.66 seconds, down from his
preliminary-winning time of 6.71. Also placed 10th in the 200 meter
dash in 24.00.
Cory Murray, UMass Lowell (So., Methuen, Mass.) - Captured the
shot put with a distance of 49' 5.5'' and helped UMass Lowell to
the team championship at the Tufts Jumbo Invitational.
Ashley Zielinski, UMass Lowell (Fr., Manchester, N.H.) - Captured
the 55 meter hurdles and helped UMass Lowell win the Tufts Jumbo
Invitational. Won the hurdles in 8.69 seconds and also placed
second in the 200 meter dash in 26.97.
Pat Cullen, Saint Rose (Sr., Hyde Park, N.Y.) - Ran a school
record fifth place time of 8:51.98 in the unseeded 3000 meter run
at the NYC Gotham Cup. Was also part of the 4x800 relay squad that
crossed the line 13th in 8:23.01.
Krista Robben, Saint Rose (Fr., Hampton Bays, N.Y.) - Set a school
record by tossing the 20 pound weight a 17th place distance of
11.23 meters at the NYC Gotham Cup. Also had a 25th place toss of
8.55 meters in the shot put.
Tyler Guilmette, Stonehill (Sr., East Longmeadow, Mass.) -
Finished second in the place in the long jump with a distance of
6.98 meters.
Susan O'Connell, Stonehill (Fr., East Greenwich, R.I.) - Finished
second in the 800 meters at the URI Sorlein Invitational with a
time of 2:22.92, besting the third place finisher by more than two
seconds.
Kevin Gill, Stonehill (So., Brockton, Mass.) - Finished fourth in
the 1000 meter run with a time of 2:30.47 and was the top DII
finisher.
