Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Jeff Berume, Merrimack (Sr., OF, Leicester, Mass.) – Hit
.526 this past week with 20 hits in 38 at-bats to go with six
doubles, a homer, seven steals, and 10 RBI.
Northeast-10 Pitcher of the Week
Chris Pinette, Merrimack (Fr., SP, Norwood, Mass.) - Hurled a
no-hitter, in his second career start, striking out three and
walking one in a 4-0 win over Philadelphia.
Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Pat Devlin, UMass Lowell (Fr., 2B, Dracut, Mass.) - Batted .421
(8-19), slugged .632 with three stolen bases, five runs and two
walks in a 6-0 week. Hit safely in four of five games. Went 1-for-2
with two stolen bases and one run in a 2-1 win over Caldwell;
Batted 7-for-13 in the three-game sweep over New Haven with four
runs, one walk, one stolen base and one RBI.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Kevin Farrell, American International (Sr., 1B, Wilbraham, Mass.)
- Hit .308 (4-13) this past week, including two homeruns. The first
homerun of the week was a walk-off in the bottom of the ninth to
beat Bloomfield 1-0. Against Southern New Hampshire, went 2-for-4
with another solo homerun.
Mike Baillargeon, Assumption (Sr., 2B, Worcester, Mass.) - In a
3-0 weekend series with Stonehill, hit .545 with six hits including
the 200th of his career. Also scored six runs had two doubles, one
triple, one home run and had four RBI.
Jeff Barbale, Assumption (Sr., P, Charlton, Mass.) - In seven
innings pitched, allowed just two hits and one run (unearned) while
striking out six in the 9-1 win over Stonehill in the first game of
a double header.
Mike DiReda, Assumption (Sr., 3B, Shrewsbury, Mass.) - In a 3-0
weekend series with Stonehill, hit .533 with eight hits and scored
six runs. Had two doubles one triple and two home runs and added
seven RBI.
Mike Adams, Franklin Pierce (Sr., SP, Orchard Park, N.Y.) - In his
only appearance of the week, threw 7.2 innings, allowed one run on
five hits, walked three and matched his career high with 13
strikeouts and did not factor in the decision against St. Thomas
Aquinas.
Kyle Vazquez, Franklin Pierce (Jr., SP, Berlin, Conn.) - Threw a
seven-inning shutout in his only appearance of the week, the first
game of a doubleheader against Molloy. Walked one and struck out
six to post the victory.
J.T. Leary, UMass Lowell (Jr., SS, Newburyport, Mass.) - Batted
.375 (6-16) with three RBI, six walks and two runs in a 6-0 week.
Batted 1-for-2 with two walks and two RBI in a 6-5 win over
Caldwell. Also batted 4-for-8 with four walks, two runs and one RBI
in the three-game sweep over New Haven.
Jimmy Rivas, New Haven (Sr., C, Toa Baja, Puerto Rico) - Had a
grand slam, four doubles and 12 RBI in six games this past week.
Finished the week with a .308 batting average and a .577 slugging
percentage. Led the team with eight hits in 26 plate
appearances.
Zach Dayton, Pace (Sr., SP, North Falmouth, Mass.) - Tossed 7.2
innings, allowing one run on seven hits, while recording seven
strikeouts against Saint Anselm.
Michael Sciarretta, Pace (So., P, Stamford, Conn.) - Tossed eight
innings in a start and one relief appearance. Tossed a scoreless
inning, registering two strikeouts in a team win over Molloy.
Pitched seven innings in a start against Saint Anselm allowing no
earned runs and seven hits, while fanning seven.
Ben Waldrip, Saint Anselm (Fr., 1B, Medford, Mass.) - Went
6-for-16 at the plate and cracked his first-career home run in the
8-7 non-conference loss to Post University. Also compiled four RBI
and two doubles throughout the week.
Nick Delzio, Southern Connecticut (Jr., OF, Hopewell Junction,
N.Y.) - Went 3-for-9 in a 2-1 week with five RBI, three walks,
three runs scored and a double. In the win versus Saint Rose, went
2-for-3 from the plate with two RBI and a run scored.
Ryan Quinn, Southern New Hampshire (Sr., SP, Lebanon, Conn.) -
Struck out a career-high 14 batters and scattered eight hits while
walking three in a complete-game win American International.
Allowed just two earned runs and held the Yellow Jackets to a .216
batting average.
Ryan Healey, Stonehill (Jr., C, Lynn, Mass.) - Hit a team-best
.417 in four games last week. Three of his five hits were for extra
bases, including a pair of homers. Had a slugging percentage of
1.000 and an on-base percentage of .462. Highlighted the week with
a 3-for-5 performance with three RBI in an 11-10 loss to
Assumption.

Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Greg Rogowski, Merrimack (Sr., A, Cohoes, N.Y.) - Scored six goals
and seven points in both victories this past week versus Mars Hill
(14-8) and Wingate (15-9).
Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Doug McIver, Le Moyne (Sr., G, Altamont, N.Y.) - Held #3 C.W.
Post, the nation's highest scoring team, to just five goals, while
making eight saves in the 6-5 win.
Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Will Langevin, Assumption (Fr., A, Concord, Mass.) – Scored
10 points in a 2-0 week. Scored two goals and four assists in a
21-0 victory over Anna Maria. In a conference win over Franklin
Pierce, had two goals and two assists.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Kevin Jurgens, Assumption (Jr., A, Needham, Mass.) - In a 2-0 week
scored 11 points. Scored five goals and one assists in a 21-0
victory over Anna Maria. In a conference win over Franklin Pierce,
had three goals and two assists.
John Murphy, Assumption (So., A, Walpole, Mass.) – Recorded
13 points in a 2-0 week. Scored three goals and two assists in a
21-0 victory over Anna Maria. In a conference win over Franklin
Pierce, had five goals and three assists.
Dan Shea, Assumption (Jr., G, Wrentham, Mass.) - In a 2-0 week,
allowed just two goals for a goals against average of 1.33. Made
seven saves and had save percentage of .778.
Matt Chadderdon, Le Moyne (So., M, Auburn, N.Y.) - Scored two
goals, including the go-ahead goal in the fourth quarter, in the
6-5 win over #3 C.W. Post.
James Hammel, Pace (Jr., A, North Caldwell, N.J.) - Netted three
goals in a 1-1 week. Scored a goal against Mercyhurst. Posted a
pair of goals, including the game-winner with 48 seconds left in
the game, in a win over Southern New Hampshire.
Jake Sheppard, Pace (Sr., A, Brunswick East, Melbourne, Victoria,
Australia) - Totaled five points (4G, 1A) in a win over Southern
New Hampshire.
Matt O'Connell, Saint Anselm (Jr., A, Charlestown, Mass.) - Scored
a pair of goals and had a game-high four assists in the 14-8 win
versus Dominican in the team's lone game of the week.
Matt Surette, Saint Anselm (Sr., M, Wakefield, Mass.) - Scored a
game-high four goals and had a pair of groundballs in the win over
Dominican, 14-8, in the team's lone game of the week.
Charlie Niznansky, Saint Michael's (Jr., A, Fairfield, Conn.) - In
a 1-2 week in Winter Park, Florida, totaled six goals and assisted
on another. The week was highlighted with a five-goal, one-assist
performance in a 17-6 win over Rollins College.

Northeast-10 Co-Players of the Week
Ashley Ferrandiz, New Haven (So., M, West Sayville, N.Y.) - Scored
13 goals and dished out eight assists for a team-high 21 points in
a 3-0 week. Caused five turnovers and picked up 15 ground balls and
had a .650 shooting percentage and collected seven draw
controls.
Michelle Kelly, Stonehill (Sr., M, Mendham, N.J.) - Had 12 goals
and 11 assists for 23 points (7.67 pts per game) in three games
last week. Also scored three times and dished out a school record
eight assists in a 26-4 win over Southern Connecticut.
Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Maureen Spellman, New Haven (Fr., G, Trumbull, Conn.) - Finished
the week with a perfect 3-0 record and had 17 saves and a .447 save
percentage. Allowed just 21 goals in three games and finished with
10 saves while allowing only seven goals against Bentley.
Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Leyla Kuz-Dworzak, Stonehill (Fr., M, Norwalk, Conn.) - Scored six
goals and dished out an assist in her first collegiate contest. In
three games on the week, had 10 goals and an assist for 11 points
(3.67 per game).
Weekly Honor Roll:
Alyssa Ritchie, Bentley (Sr., A, North Andover, Mass.) - Scored
four goals against No. 8 New Haven and broke the program's record
of 144 career goals. Added seven ground balls and seven caused
turnovers in Bentley's two games over the weekend.
Lauren Stille, Franklin Pierce (So., A, North Quincy, Mass.) -
Totaled 11 goals and two assists for 13 points in three games last
week. Also contributed nine ground balls and three draw controls.
Posted a season-high six goals, including the game-winner, and
dished an assist for seven points in the 16-7 win over Saint
Michael's. Opened the season with four goals against #9 New Haven.
Chipped in a goal and assist against #10 Rollins.
Mallory Ferrandiz, New Haven (Sr., M, West Sayville, N.Y.) -
Scored 10 goals on 14 shots (.714 shooting percentage) in a 3-0
week. Added three assists for 13 points in three games and also had
a team-high 15 draw controls and seven caused turnovers.
Sarah Magnone, New Haven (Fr., A, Yardley, Penn.) - Ranked third
on the team with nine points in a 3-0 week, while scoring seven
goals and two assists. Collected five ground balls and caused three
turnovers and finished with a team-high four goals in victory
against Bentley.
Michaela Rocha, Saint Anselm (Sr., A, Rye, N.H.) - Had consecutive
nine point games and 19 points this past week. In the 18-8 win over
Southern Connecticut, netted her 100th career goal on a free
position shot late in the first half. In the 19-10 loss to
undefeated Dowling, scored nine of the teams 13 points with eight
goals and an assist.
Meghan Smith, Saint Anselm (Fr., M, Pittsford, Mass.) - Tallied 10
goals and three assists in three games this past week. Scored five
goals and added two assists in the loss to Stonehill and then had a
three goal, one assist effort in the 18-8 win over Southern
Connecticut.
Carole Lee, Southern New Hampshire (Jr., A, Derry, N.H.) - Scored
four goals in a victory over Assumption.
Justine Ferland, Stonehill (Sr., G, Portsmouth, N.H.) - Went 2-1
on the week, making 27 saves (9 per game) and giving up 23 goals
(7.67 per game) with a .540 save percentage.
Mary Maloney, Stonehill (Sr., A, Great River, N.Y.) - In three
games this past week had 11 points (3.67 per game) with six goals
and five assists. Had two goals and three assists in a season
opening win over Saint Anselm.
Weekly Notes:
BENTLEY: After breaking Bentley's record for
career goals on Saturday, Alyssa Ritchie now holds the school's
three major career scoring records. She has 146 goals, 104 assists
and 250 points. Bentley has played three straight games against
teams ranked in the top-10.
FRANKLIN PIERCE: Sophomore attack Lauren Stille
became just the third player in program history to reach the 100
point plateau for their career with her 13 points in the Ravens
three season-opening matches last week. Her 100 career points is
good for third all-time, while senior Carla Savini (Danvers, Mass.)
is currently ranked fifth all-time with 93 career points after
netting a goal last week.
SAINT ANSELM: In the 18-8 NE-10 victory over
Southern Connecticut State senior attack Michaela Rocha (Rye, N.H.)
netted her 100th career goal for Saint Anselm College.
SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE: With two goals against
Assumption, senior Libby Parent (Hinesburg, VT) became the first
player in program history to record 200 career points.

Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Christina Pane, Pace (Sr., OF, Stony Point, N.Y.) - Put up a .571
average in a 5-2 week with 12 hits, and eight runs scored. Finished
with 20 total bases, and four extra base hits which included two
triples and a homerun. Also walked three times and stole two bases.
Went 4-for-6 in a two games series against Shaw which included two
triples, and four RBI.
Northeast-10 Pitcher of the Week
Breanna Gleason, New Haven (Jr., SP, Bristol, Conn.) - Started 10
games and allowed just 11 earned runs in 69.1 innings (1.11 ERA)
this past week. Finished the week with 59 strikeouts while allowing
only five walks with opposing batters hitting .220. Had seven
complete games and a 6-4 record.
Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Jessica Wiley, Franklin Pierce (Fr., SP, Cape Vincent, N.Y.) -
Threw 20 innings this past week, allowing just three earned runs
and posted a 2-1 record. Threw a complete game against St. Thomas
Aquinas, allowed two runs (one earned) on five hits, walked one and
struck out four to pick up her first career win. Tossed a
complete-game one-hitter against Nyack, allowed one unearned run,
walked one and struck out five. Threw six innings, allowed three
runs (two earned) on six hits, walked two and struck out five in
the loss to Philadelphia.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Kristen Dolan, American International (Fr., SP, Norwood, Mass.) -
Went 1-1 this past week, tossing two complete games and posting a
1.43 ERA in 14.2 innings pitched. Allowed one run with two
strikeouts in a win at Molloy and allowed two earned runs with
eight Ks against C.W. Post.
Christine D'Amico, Bentley (So., 2B, Shrewsbury, Mass.) - Drove in
six runs as the team opened its northern schedule by sweeping Post
University, 4-3 and 10-1. Was 3-for-7 with two doubles, two runs
scored and a .714 on base percentage.
Tara Fogarty, Bentley (Fr., SP, Chester, N.Y.) - Authored a
complete game one-hitter in a 10-1 six-inning victory at Post
University. Issued three walks and struck out one.
Jennifer Farrelly, Le Moyne (Sr., SP, Latham, N.Y.) - Went 1-1
with a 1.08 ERA and 13 strikeouts in two complete-game
performances. Struck out seven over 6.2 innings in a 2-1 loss at
New York Tech. Earned the victory with five scoreless innings
pitched in the 8-0 win at C.W. Post, while yielding just three hits
and striking out six batters.
Kelly Schweikert, Le Moyne (Jr., 2B, Rochester, N.Y.) - Hit .462
(6-13) with two home runs, three runs batted in and five runs
scored in a 2-2 week. Smacked a solo home run in the 2-1 loss to
New York Tech and posted two hits and a run scored in a 5-2 win
over the Bears. Went 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBI and two runs
scored in an 8-0 win over C.W. Post.
Jill Gagnon, Merrimack (Sr., SP, Manchester, N.H.) - Threw three
complete games in five outings, posting a 3-2 record. Struck out 15
in a complete game win over St. Thomas and nine in a victory over
Nyack. At the plate, tallied 11 RBI in 10 games.
Nicole Downs, New Haven (Jr., C, Seymour, Conn.) - Hit a team-high
.419 with two home runs and three doubles in 10 games this past
week. Slugged .710 and had an on-base percentage of .471 during the
week. Had a team-high 13 hits and six runs scored.
Lauren Bell, Pace (Fr., SS, New Windsor, N.Y.) - Finished with a
.375 average in a 5-2 week. Totaled nine hits, and seven RBI in the
seven game week. Also had two doubles, and 14 total bases. Went
4-for-5 with four RBI vs. Shaw.
Kiryl Shada, Pace (Sr., SP, Pleasant Prairie, WI) - Appeared in
five of the seven games this past week. Totaled 25 innings pitched
in four starts, and one relief appearance. Posted a 1.40 ERA and a
3-1 record in that stretch. Struck out 23 batters, while only
walking four. Highlighted the week with a complete game four hit
shutout in a 2-0 win over Barton.
Kayla McEachern, Saint Anselm (So., OF, Stoneham, Mass.) - Hhit
.500 last week in four games. Highlighted the week with a 3-for-3
effort with three runs batted in and a double in a game one win
over Molloy. Finished the four-game week 6-for-12 with three runs
batted in, one double and one walk.
Katherine Theodorou, Saint Anselm (Sr., OF, Glen Cove, N.Y.) -
Batted .467 in four games this past weekend. Was 4-for-8 with two
runs scored and one RBI vs. Molloy, followed by a three-hit
afternoon at Adelphi.
Megan O'Connor, Saint Michael's (Sr., SP, Georgetown, Mass.) - In
the 10-game spring trip in Clermont, Florida, compiled a 3-2
record, throwing 26 innings, and striking out 18. Highlighted the
week with a complete game victory over Nyack, striking out a
season-best 10 batters.
Brittany Gandley, Southern Connecticut (Sr., 1B, Holbrook, N.Y.) -
Finished 3-for-5 with four RBI, two runs scored, a home run, a
double and a walk in two victories against Molloy in Fort Myers,
Fla. this past week.
Ashley Bernstein, Southern New Hampshire (Sr., DH, Stoughton,
Mass.) - Batted .316 with a home run and four runs batted in six
games last week while hitting safely in five of six games.
Delivered a two-run double in the ninth inning of a 2-0 win over
Saint Thomas.
Kyla Puccini, Southern New Hampshire (Fr., SP, North Dighton,
Mass.) - Posted a 2-0 record, 1.43 earned run average and .216
opponent batting average in three appearances on the mound. Allowed
just three hits in a nine-inning win over St. Thomas, striking out
five. Hurled three innings of scoreless relief to earn a win over
Northwood.

Tim Fayed, Stonehill (So., No. 1 Singles/Doubles, Glastonbury,
Conn.) - Went 2-0 in No. 1 singles on the week in the team’s
9-0 victories over American International and Pace, winning both
matches 6-0, 6-0. Also won 8-0 in one doubles match.
Northeast-10 Co-Freshmen of the Week
Jigar Gada, Bentley (Fr., No.1 Singles/Doubles, Mumbai, India) -
Went 2-0 in Bentley's match with American International this past
weekend. Teamed with Alec Spycher and posted an 8-2 win in number
one doubles. Then won 6-1, 6-1 in number one singles.
Brian Rice, Le Moyne (Fr., No. 1 Singles/Doubles, Syracuse, N.Y.)
- Earned a 6-0, 6-1 victory at number one singles to lead Le Moyne
to a 9-0 team win over Saint Anselm. Teamed for an 8-2 win at
second doubles.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Sean Pahler, Merrimack (Fr., No. 6 Singles/No.3 Doubles, Rumson,
N.J.) - Went 3-1 in both singles and doubles this past week.
Adam Wilding, Merrimack (Sr., No. 2 Singles, /Doubles, Lewiston,
Maine) - Went 3-1 in both singles and doubles this past week,
leading the Warriors to a 2-2 record.
Mike Mashkevich, Stonehill (Jr., No. 2 Singles/No. 1 Doubles,
Framingham, Mass.) - Went 2-0 in singles play wining 6-0, 6-1 and

Amber Chandronnait, Southern New Hampshire (So., No. 1
Singles/Doubles, Bow, N.H.) - Posted a pair of 6-0, 6-0 singles
victories against Stonehill and Assumption, and also posted a 8-0
win at No. 1 doubles against the Golden Knights.
Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Amy Toegemann, Stonehill (Fr., No. 2 Singles/No. 1 Doubles,
Narragansett, R.I.) - Went 2-1 at No. 2 singles, including a 6-0,
6-0 victory in the team’s win versus Pace. Also went 4-0 at
No. 1 doubles.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Tirzah Walrath, Le Moyne (Jr., No.1 Singles/Doubles, Cortland,
N.Y.) - Posted a 6-0, 6-4 victory at number one singles to lead Le
Moyne in a 5-4 loss at Saint Anselm. Teamed for an 8-2 win at first
doubles.
Amanda Carroll, Merrimack (So., No. 3 Singles/No. 1 Doubles,
Tewksbury, Mass.) - Picked up three wins in four singles matches
this past week to go with two doubles victories.
Chelsea Annese, New Haven (So., ,No. 4 Singles/No. 2 Doubles,
Topsham, Maine) - Won her #4 singles match (6-0, 6-0) and #2 double
match (8-0) in the team’s win over American
International.
Leah Smith, New Haven (Jr., No. 3 Singles/No. 2 Doubles, Bristol,
Conn.) - Won her #3 singles match (6-0, 6-0) and #2 double match
(8-0) in the team’s win over American International.
Natalija Subotic, Pace (Sr., No. 1 Singles/ Doubles, Bradenton,
Fla.) - Won at #1 singles 6-1, 6-1 against Stonehill.
Amanda Brahm, Saint Anselm (Fr., No. 6 Singles/No. 3 Doubles,
Middleton, Conn.) - Went 4-0 this past weekend in No. 3 doubles and
No. 6 singles in the team’s 5-4 win over Le Moyne and 9-0
victory over Saint Rose. In the 5-4 win over Le Moyne, won 7-6
(7-1), 6-3.
Lindsay Horne, Saint Michael's (Jr., No. 1/2 Singles/No. 1
Doubles, Scituate, Mass.) - In a 3-2 week in Hilton Head, South
Carolina, collected three wins at No. 1 doubles, two wins at No. 1
singles, and one win at No. 2 singles. In a 5-0 win over Fairmont
State, recorded wins at No. 2 doubles and No. 2 singles.
Eileen Mullowney, Saint Michael's (Fr., No. 5 Singles/No. 2
Doubles, Burlington, Vt.) - In a 3-2 week in Hilton Head, South
Carloina, totaled three wins at No. 5 singles and four wins at No.
2 doubles. In a 9-0 victory over Lenoir-Rhyne, won her No. 5
singles and No. 2 doubles matches in the shutout victory.
Sarah Hickey, Stonehill (Fr., No. 5 Singles/No. 3 Doubles, Lee,
Mass.) - Went 3-0 in No. 5 singles without losing a set, including
a 6-0, 6-0 victory in the team win over Pace. Also went 3-0 in
doubles action as the Skyhawks won four matches during the week.

Northeast-10 Men’s Track Athlete of the
Week
Doug Caves, UMass Lowell (Jr., Oxford, Mass.) - Captured the 400
meter dash and provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championship at
the Coastal Carolina Shamrock Invitational. Ran the 400 meters in
47.56 seconds and bested the field of 53 runners.
Northeast-10 Women’s Track Athlete of the
Week
Melissa Nash, Bentley (Sr., Marshfield, Mass.) - In the outdoor
season opener, finished first of 43 in the 1500 meters at the Husky
Spring Open, posting a time of 4:53.87.
Northeast-10 Men’s Track Freshman of the
Week
Kevin Downing, New Haven (Fr., Meriden, Conn.) - Provisionally
qualified for the national meet and set school records in the 100
and 200-meter dashes at the Disney Invitational. Ran 10.62 and
finished second in the 100 and ran 21.21 and finished second in the
200. Also was a member of the winning 1600-meter sprint medley
relay team (3:39.57).
Northeast-10 Women’s Track Freshman of the
Week
Maddy McDonnell, Bentley (Fr., San Francisco, Calif.) - Was 8th of
27 in the 800 meters at the Husky Spring Open, turning in a
2:33.23.
Northeast-10 Men’s Field Athlete of the
Week
Maurice Calenda, American International (So., Bloomfield, Conn.) -
Won the triple jump with a distance of 13.96 meters and finished
second in the long jump with a leap of 6.21 meters at the
Northeastern Spring Open. Also finished fourth in the 200-meter
dash with a time of 23.07 seconds and ran the first leg of the
4x100 relay that set a school record in 43.53 seconds and took
first place.
Northeast-10 Women’s Field Athlete of the
Week
Olivia Thibou, American International (Jr., Boston, Mass.) - Set
school records in both the triple jump and long jump at the
Northeastern Spring Open. In the triple, came in first with a
distance of 10.74 meters and in the long jump, finished third with
a leap of 4.74 meters.

Week
Keisha Johnson, Bentley (Fr., Randolph, Mass.) - At the Husky
Spring Open, finished second of five in the triple jump
(33’1”) and was sixth of 12 in the long jump
(14’8.75”).
Weekly Honor Roll:
Dominic Smith, American International (Fr., Bloomfield, Conn.) -
Took first place in the 200-meter dash with a school record time of
22.53 seconds and also earned the top spot in the 400 with a time
of 48.96 seconds at the Northeastern Spring Open. Was also the
second leg of the 4x100 relay team that finished first in a school
record time of 43.53 seconds.
Anthony Dowd, Assumption (Fr., Somerset, Mass.) - At the
Northeastern University Husky Invitational, placed second in the
110-meter hurdles with a time of 16.08 a personal best time.
Peter Jusseaume, Assumption (Fr., Marshfield, Mass.) - At the
Northeastern University Husky Invitational placed 2nd in the
800-meters with a time of 1:59.97 setting a personal best time.
Chris O'Day, Assumption (Jr., Braintree, Mass.) - At the
Northeastern University Husky Invitational, won the 1,500 meters
with a time of 4:08.25 and also placed third in the 800-meters with
a time of 2:01.63.
Amy Papalia, Bentley (Sr., Marlboro, Mass.) - Finished 2nd of 27
in the 800 meters during the Husky Spring Open with a time of
2:29.30.
Mike Vatti, Bentley (Fr., Easton, Pa.) - Finished second in a
21-man field in the 400 meters during the Husky Spring Open,
recording a time of 49.29 seconds. Also helped Bentley finish
second of five in the 4x100 relay (44.42).
Jacqui Barrett, UMass Lowell (Jr., Woburn, Mass.) - Placed fourth
overall in the shot put at the Coastal Carolina Shamrock
Invitational with a throw of 43' 1.75 inches, topping the Division
II-III field.
Donte Brown, UMass Lowell (So., Raynham, Mass.) - Placed sixth
overall in a field of 53 sprinters in the 400 meter dash in 48.42
seconds at the Coastal Carolina Shamrock Invitational.
Haley Catarius, UMass Lowell (Jr., Marshfield, Mass.) - Placed
second overall in the 800 meters and provisionally qualified for
the NCAA Championship at the Coastal Carolina Shamrock
Invitational. Ran the course in 2:12.64, easing past the NCAA
provsion of 2:15.00.
Jack Kilcommons, UMass Lowell (Sr., South Boston, Mass.) - Placed
third overall (second among II-III runners) in the 3,000 meters in
8:50.16 at the Coastal Carolina Shamrock Invitational.
Eric McDonald, UMass Lowell (Fr., Groveland, Mass.) - Placed sixth
overall (second among Division II-III athletes) in the 1,500 meters
in 4:06.09; and 15th (fifth) in the 800 meters in 2:01.62 at the
Coastal Carolina Shamrock Invitational.
Alesha Chu Foo, New Haven (Fr., Bridgeport, Conn.) - Finished
third in the high jump with a leap of 1.52 meters at the Disney
Invitational.
Shannon Gagne, New Haven (Jr., Meriden, Conn.) - Set two school
records and provisionally qualified for nationals in the 100 and
200-meter dashes. Ran 12.06 in the 100, finishing fourth and ran
24.96 in the 200. Was also a member of the third place 400-meter
relay team (48.42) and placed third in the long jump (5.55 meters).
