Northeast-10 Player of the Week
James Roche, Bentley (So., OF, Arlington, Mass.) - In a 5-0 week, hit .333 (6-18) and slugged .556 with five runs scored, four RBI, a double and a homer. Had five hits, four RBI and three runs scored in a three-game sweep of Merrimack.

Northeast-10 Pitcher of the Week
Chris Smith, New Haven (Jr., SP, Shelton, Conn.) - Pitched eight scoreless innings in his lone start of the week, recording seven strike outs and picking up the win against Stonehil. Allowed just four hits over eight innings.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Ryan Brockett, New Haven (Fr., OF, Guilford, Conn.) - Hit .556 (10-for-18) for the week including a 3-for-4 performance with two runs scored and three RBI against Assumption. Recorded at least one hit in each of the team's five games this past week. Stole one base and also had a triple. Tallied 10 put outs and one outfield assist with no errors.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Zach Jacques, Assumption (So., SP, Jefferson, Mass.) - In a 1-0 win over Southern New Hampshire, pitched 7.2 innings and allowed just four hits and struck out three and allowed just one walk. Southern New Hampshire hit just .154 in the game.

Brett Fistes, Bentley (Sr., SP, South Deerfield, Mass.) - Pitched a complete game seven-hitter in a 3-1 win at Merrimack. Walked one, struck out five and picked off two runners.

Mike Dowd, Franklin Pierce (Fr., C, East Bridgewater, Mass.) - Hit .467 (7-for-15) over four games in a 2-2 week. Clubbed two home runs and one double, drove in five runs, scored five runs, walked once, was hit by a pitch and stole a base. Posted a .933 slugging percentage and a .556 on-base percentage.

Pat Devlin, UMass Lowell (Fr., 2B, Tewksbury, Mass.) - Finished week with three straight multi-hit games. Hit .412 (7-for-17) with two runs and an RBI. Had one double and two stolen bases; Collected three hits at Stonehill and had two hits in each game of the doubleheader at Bentley.

Dylan Ellis, Merrimack (Jr., SP, Gloucester, Mass.) - Hurled a complete game, four-hit shutout, striking out eight, leading the team to a 1-0 win over Southern New Hampshire.

Michael Sciarretta, Pace (So., SP, Stamford, Conn.) - Tossed eight innings, allowing one earned run on three hits, while striking out six, earning the win over Saint Rose.

Ben Waldrip, Saint Anselm (Fr., P, Medford, Mass.) - At the plate, went four-for-nine in two games with three RBI and a double. On the mound, threw eight shutout innings allowing only four hits and striking out four in the 3-0 win over Adelphi.

Nick DeMidio, Saint Rose (Sr., SP, Scotia, N.Y.) - Alowed only an unearned run on five hits in seven innings of work to collect his first victory of the year in a 4-1 victory against visiting Pace. Fanned five batters, walked one and did not allow an extra-base hit along the way.

Grant Smith, Saint Rose (So., 3B, Waterford, Pa.) - Batted .500 throughout a 2-1 week. Was 4-for-8 at the plate with an RBI, scored a run, was hit twice and walked once for a .636 on-base percentage. Scored the winning run in a 3-2, 12-inning victory at Pace after leading off the frame with a single. Finished 2-for-3 with a walk. Went 2-for-2 in a 4-1 win over the Setters in game one and drove in a run in the nightcap.

Andrew Babb, Southern Connecticut (So., OF, Hopkinton, Mass.) - In four games this past week, went 8-for-15 from the plate including a run scored, four RBI and three walks.

Steve Golbranson, Southern New Hampshire (Jr., SP, Abington, Mass.) - Went 1-0 with one save and did not allow a run in 10.1 innings of work last week. Posted a complete-game victory in a win at Franklin Pierce, allowing six hits while striking out nine and walking just two. Pitched the final 1.1 innings in a 3-2 win over Merrimack and allowed one hit to earn a save.

Eric Pelletier, Southern New Hampshire (Jr., 3B, Beverly, Mass.) - Batted .583 (7-12) in four games during a 3-2 week. Went a combined 5-for-7 in two wins over Franklin Pierce.

Matt Olsen, Stonehill (Fr., SP, Winchester, Mass.) - In his second career start, tossed eight innings of three-hit ball in an eventual 4-0 win over New Haven. Didn't allow any runs and struck out three en route to his second win of the season. All three of the hits he allowed were singles.

Weekly Notes:

BENTLEY:
Bentley leads the NCAA Division II East Region in victories after winning six in a row and 14 of its last 17. Freshman Matt Sherman (Longmeadow, Mass.) has already set a Bentley single season record for saves. He now has five after preserving wins in both ends of a doubleheader vs. UMass-Lowell. The Falcons’ current six-game winning streak is their longest since they won seven in a row in 2002. Senior Jarrod Marchesi (Peabody, Mass.) recorded his 17th career win, moving into second on Bentley’s all-time list.

Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Johannah Leedham, Franklin Pierce (Jr., F, Ellesmere Port, England) - Led the Ravens to their first National Championship game appearance, earning All-Tournament team honors at the Elite 8 as she averaged 28 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.7 assists and three steals over three games. Shot a combined 55.4-percent (31-56) from the field, including 6-for-17 (35.3%) from three-point range, while converting 84.2% (16-19) of her free-throw attempts for the week. Opened the Elite Eight with 30 points (9-13 FGs, 3-3 3ptFG, 9-11 FTs) to go with five assists, three rebounds and three steals in win over California (Pa.). Posted 28 points (11-22 FG, 3-9 3's), six assists, four rebounds and two steals in win over Delta State. Finished with 26 points (11-21 FGs) and ten rebounds for her fifth double-double of the year (23rd career) to go with four steals and three assists in championship against Minnesota State-Mankato.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Marielle Giroud, Franklin Pierce (Fr., F, Martigny, Switzerland) - Averaged 6.7 points, a team-best 6.7 rebounds and an assist in helping the Ravens advance to the National Championship game for the first time in program history.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Tori Ahrens, Franklin Pierce (So., C, East Greenwich, R.I.) - Helped the Ravens advance to the national championship game for the first time in program history as she averaged 8.7 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.7 blocked shots over the three games. Shot 60% (12-20) from the field for the week. Posted ten points and five rebounds in opening win over California (Pa.). Chipped in six points, seven rebounds and a career-high eight blocked shots in semifinal win over Delta State. Contributed ten points and four rebounds in championship game against Minnesota State-Mankato.

Jennifer Leedham, Franklin Pierce (Sr., G, Ellesmere Port, England) - Earned All-Tournament team honors at the Elite Eight in helping lead the Ravens to their first National Championship game appearance. Averaged 18.7 points, 6.7 assists, 3.7 assists and 3.3 rebounds over the three games. Shot a combined 50-percent (21-for-42) from the field, including 7-for-17 (41.2%) from three-point range for the week. Capped her collegiate career by totalling a season-high 31 points (12-20 FGs, 5-7 3pt FGs, 2-3 FTs), nine assists, four steals, three rebounds and two blocked shots in Friday's championship against Minnesota State-Mankato. Posted 16 points, eight assists, four rebounds, and two steals in opening win over California (Pa.). Chipped in nine points, five steals, three rebounds and three assists in semifinal win over Delta State.

Toby Martin, Franklin Pierce (Sr., G, Wayne, Maine) - Averaged nine points, three steals, two assists and 2.3 rebounds in the Ravens run to the national championship game. Made 8-of-16 (50%) shots from the field, including 4-of-7 (57.1%) three-pointers, and converted 7-of-8 (87.5%) free-throw attempts for the week. Posted 16 points, two steals and two rebounds in opening win over California (Pa.).

Weekly Notes:

FRANKLIN PIERCE: The Ravens finished the season with a program-record 29 wins, surpassing the previous record of 27 set during last year's Elite 8 run, advancing to the National Championship game for the first time in program history. The Ravens .829 win percentage is also a school record. Franklin Pierce and Minnesota State-Mankato played the highest scoring women's championship game in Division II history, combining for 197 points. Junior All-American Johannah Leedham finished the tournament with a Division II-record 149 points, surpassing the previous record of 141 set by Southeastern Oklahoma's Brandi Robinson in 2002. Leedham broke her own single-season program scoring record with 799 points, matching the Northeast-10 single-season record set by Stonehill's Mary Naughton in 1988 (16th-best in DII history). Leedham enters her senior year with 2,135 points, just 54 points shy of the NE-10 career record of 2,189 set by American International's Juana Garcia (1992-96).

Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Greg Rogowski, Merrimack (Sr., A, Cohoes, N.Y.) - Tallied seven goals, four assists, and seven groundballs in two games in wins over Adelphi (12-9) and Assumption (16-4).

Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Kris Dambach, Bentley (Sr., G, Chester, N.J.) - Had a 2-0 week, made 20 saves and allowed only four goals in 90 minutes of action. Against Saint Michael's, made a career-high 17 saves and shutout the Purple Knights for nearly 49 minutes. Recorded a GAA for the week of 2.67 and a save percentage of .833

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Brendan Grant, Bentley (Fr., A, Walpole, Mass.) - Had a team-high 12 points (four goals, eight assists) in two games last week. Had two goals and four assists in both wins, 14-6 over Franklin Pierce and 13-3 over Saint Michael's.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Aaron McNab, American International (So., A, West Springfield, Mass.) - Netted six goals with three assists in two games last week. Scored five goals with one assist at Franklin Pierce and netted one goal with two assists at Dominican.

Travis Ortensi, American International (So., A, South Hadley, Mass.) – Scored eight goals in two games. Netted five goals at Franklin Pierce and scored three times at Dominican.

Kevin Gould, Bentley (Jr., A, Duxbury, Mass.) - Had a team-high seven goals in two wins last week. Had four goals in the win over Saint Michael's. Also chipped in three assists during the week.

Jack Scanlan, Franklin Pierce (So., A, Great Neck, N.Y.) - Totaled five goals and three assists for eight points in a 1-1 week. Led the team to a 14-12 win over American International with four goals and an assist for five points. Collected a goal and two assists for three points against Bentley.

Mike Byrnes, Le Moyne (Fr., A, Tully, N.Y.) - Scored two goals and dished out two assists in a pair of conference victories this past week. Posted one goal and one assist in the 14-10 win at Pace. Tallied one goal and an assist in a 15-2 victory over Saint Anselm.

Jack Harmatuk, Le Moyne (So., A, Syracuse, N.Y.) - Scored seven goals and dished out two assists in a pair of conference victories this past week. Posted three goals and had an assist in the 14-10 win at Pace. Tied a season-high with four goals and one assist in a 15-2 victory over Saint Anselm.

Michael Balbuena, Merrimack (So., A, Falmouth, Mass.) - Tallied 11 points (five goals, six assists) in two games, leading the team to wins over Adelphi and Assumption.

James Hammel, Pace (Jr., A, North Caldwell, N.J.) - Totaled three goals and one assist along with four groundballs against Le Moyne.

Jeff Dunkle, Saint Anselm (Jr., A, Exeter, N.H.) - Had four goals and one assist for five points in a 1-1 week. Had the game-winning goal at Assumption and also tallied eight groundballs for the week.

Chris Murphy, Saint Anselm (Sr., A, Winchester, Mass.) - Had five goals and three assists for eight points in a 1-1 week. Had a hat trick and three assists in a win at Assumption, followed by two goals in a loss at No. 2 Le Moyne. Also had four groundballs and one man-up goal.

Mike Ball, Southern New Hampshire (Sr., A, Salem, N.H.) - Totaled six goals and three assists in two games last week. Recorded four goals and two assists in a setback to Seton Hill.

Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Ashley Ferrandiz, New Haven (So., M, West Sayville, N.Y.) - Recorded 20 points on 10 goals and 10 assists in a 3-0 week. Had four goals and three assists against American International and four goals with four assists versus St. Thomas Aquinas. Tallied a .526 shooting percentage and was 1-for-1 in free position attempts. Picked up seven ground balls, caused five turnovers and had three draw controls throughout the week.

Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Justine Ferland, Stonehill (Sr., G, Portsmouth, N.H.) - Allowed just three goals in 60 minutes while making four saves, in the 28-3 win over American International.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Sarah Magnone, New Haven (Fr., A, Yardley, Penn.) - Recorded eight goals and a .727 shooting percentage in a 3-0 week. Had three goals against St. Thomas Aquinas and four goals versus Saint Anselm. Was one-for-one in free-position shots and picked up four ground balls, caused four turnovers and had three draw controls.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Olivia Bouchard, Bentley (Fr., A, Warwick, R.I.) - Had five goals, two assists, nine ground balls and six draw controls last week. Had two goals each against Franklin Pierce and No. 9 Dowling.

Jaclyn Griffin, Bentley (Jr., M, Barrington, Ill.) - Had eight goals and a team-high six assists last week. Had three goals and four assists against Franklin Pierce, and four goals against Saint Michael's.

Alyssa Ritchie, Bentley (Sr., M, North Andover, Mass.) - Had a team-high nine goals and 14 points in a 2-1 week. Had nine points (four goals, five assists) in a win over Saint Michael's.

Jordan Baillargeon, Franklin Pierce (So., M, Westfield, Mass.) - Totaled seven goals and an assist for eight points in a 1-1 week. Also collected nine draw controls, one ground ball and one caused turnover. Scored four goals in the win over Assumption. Posted three goals and an assist against Bentley.

Lauren Stille, Franklin Pierce (So., A, North Quincy, Mass.) - Posted eight goals and two assists for ten points in a 1-1 week. In the 19-13 win over Assumption, scored eight goals to go along with ten points, which established a new career high.

Lauren Leddy, Merrimack (Sr., M, Sea Girt, N.J.) - Scored five goals in a 1-1 week, to go with 12 shots, four ground balls and four caused turnovers.

Kim Berlo, Saint Michael's (Sr., A, Scituate, Mass.) - In a 1-1 week, tallied 10 goals. Recorded a hat-trick in a 21-7 loss to Bentley, followed by a career-high seven-goal performance in a 13-10 overtime win at Assumption. Two of her seven goals came in overtime.

Amanda Pelley, Saint Michael's (Sr., M, Mashpee, Mass.) - In a 1-1 week, scored eight goals and assisted on another. Scored three goals and added an assist in a 21-7 loss to Bentley. In a 13-10 overtime win over Assumption, contributed with a five-goal outing.

Libby Parent, Southern New Hampshire (Sr., A, Hinesburg, Vt.) - Scored three goals, including the game-winner with 38 seconds to play, in the win over nationally-ranked Dowling 11-10 in the team’s lone game last week.

Liza Gross, Stonehill (Jr., M, Loudonville, N.Y.) - In a 28-3 win over American International, had three goals, three assists, three caused turnovers, four ground balls and five draw controls.

Michelle Kelly, Stonehill (Sr., M, Mendham, N.J.) - Scored five times and dished out four assists for nine points and had five draw controls in the 28-3 win over American International.

SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE: Senior Maura Murphy (Candia, NH) became the second player in Penmen program history to record 100 career goals Friday against Dowling.

Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Christina Wolf, Southern Connecticut (Sr., 3B, Newtown, Conn.) - Went 12-25 (.480) with 12 RBI and five runs scored in a 7-1 week. Knocked two home runs in two games against Adelphi, including a grandslam in the top of the sixth to put the Owls ahead for the win.

Northeast-10 Pitcher of the Week
Jill Gagnon, Merrimack (Sr., SP, Manchester, N.H.) - Threw a nine-inning, one-hit, ten strikeout shutout against American International. In 16 innings this past week, was 2-0 with a 1.31 ERA and 17 strikeouts.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Kristen Dolan, American International (Fr., SP, Norwood, Mass.) - Went 1-1 with one save while posting a 1.56 ERA and fanning 16 in three appearances last week. Allowed two earned runs with eight Ks in a complete game win over Bentley and tossed 1.1 scoreless innings to earn a save in the game-one win at Bridgeport. Allowed one run while striking out seven in nine innings against Merrimack.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Michelle Franey, American International (Jr., 2B, Abington, Mass.) - Batted .455 (10-22) from the lead-off spot this past week with two doubles, two home runs, five RBI and six runs scored. Went 2-4 with two runs scored in a 7-4 win over Bentley and was 5-8 with a double, two home runs, five RBI and four runs scored in a doubleheader at Bridgeport.

Ashley Bilodeau, Assumption (So., 3B, Manchester, Conn.) - In a double header sweep of UMass Lowell, hit.571. Went 4-for-7, including a grand slam and one double. Had five RBI and scored three runs and stole a base.

Jennifer Lowrey, Assumption (Fr., SP, Assonet, Mass.) - Pitched a complete game shutout surrendering only three hits and striking out eight batter in the 3-0 win over UMass Lowell.

Maitlyn Kraft, Bentley (So., OF, New Braunfels, Texas) - In a 1-1 week, was three for five with three RBI, two runs scored, a double and two walks. In an 11-2 game two win over American International, had a three-run double and also scored twice.

Jennifer Farrelly, Le Moyne (Sr., SP, Latham, N.Y.) - Went 1-1 with a 0.43 earned run average and 21 strikeouts over three appearances in a 2-2 week, while also hitting .333 with four runs batted in and two runs scored. Tossed 4.1 scoreless innings in relief with seven strikeouts in the first game of a doubleheader at Molloy. Allowed two unearned runs over five innings with seven strikeouts in the nightcap at Molloy. Yielded one run and struck out seven batters in a complete-game performance in a 4-1 win at Stonehill. Recorded a two-run hit in each game of the doubleheader sweep of Stonehill.

Leah Ford, Le Moyne (Fr , 1B, Pulaski, N.Y.) - Hit .417 (5-for-12) with two doubles, a run batted in and three runs scored in a 2-2 week. Registered two hits and a run scored in each game of a doubleheader at Molloy. Posted a hit and a run scored in the 7-0 win over Stonehill in the first game of a doubleheader.

Danielle VanGorder, Le Moyne (Jr., OF, Vestal, N.Y.) - Hit .467 (7-for-15) with two stolen bases, two runs batted in and two runs scored in a 2-2 week. Registered two hits and an RBI in each game of a doubleheader at Molloy. Went 3-for-4 with a run scored in the 4-1 win over Stonehill in the second game of a doubleheader.

Kara Melillo, Merrimack (So., C, North Andover, Mass.) - Batted .500 (6-for-12) in four games this past week and drove in three runs while scoring three more. Did not make an error in 27 fielding chances.

Amy Nepi, New Haven (Fr., SS, New Castle, Del.) - Hit a walk off home run in the bottom of the eighth inning to defeat visiting Saint Rose. Slugged .500 for the week and had three hits in 12 plate appearances.

Meghan Walter, New Haven (Jr., 1B, Bay Shore, N.Y.) - Hit .636 for the week, going 7-for-11 at the plate. Had an on-base percentage of .733 and slugging percentage of .727. Had multiple hits in three games. Drove in the game-tying RBI in the bottom of the seventh with two outs against Saint Rose.

Trish Allutto, Pace (Sr., C, Matawan, N.J.) - Batted .353 (6-for-17)with seven RBI, one run scored and a homerun in six games. Went 5-for-9 with seven RBI and a homerun in a doubleheader sweep over Saint Michael's. Had a key game-tying two-run single in the seventh inning of the nightcap in the Setters 10-run rally.

Patricia Hurley, Pace (Sr., 1B, Assonet, Mass.) - Batted .421 (8-for-19) with two doubles, five runs scored, a homerun and four RBI. Went 6-for-9 with five scored four RBI, a double and a two-run homerun in a doubleheader sweep over Saint Michael's.

Morgan Murphy, Saint Anselm (Fr., 1B, Orange, Mass.) - In four games, batted .429 with two runs scored, two runs batted in and her third home run of the season. Finished the week with a .857 slugging percentage and had a .643 on-base percentage after also drawing six walks.

Alyssa Farrell, Saint Rose (So., DH, Ogdensburg, N.Y.) - Batted .417 and slugged .667 throughout a 2-2 week. Drove in four runs, belted a home run and scored once while going 5-for-12 at the plate. Went 1-for-2 in the second game of a 1-0 win versus Pace. Finished 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run on the strength of her first career homer in a 3-2 setback at New Haven. In game two, went 2-for-3 with two RBI in another 3-2 loss against the Chargers.

Megan Caporossi, Southern Connecticut (Jr., SS, Northford, Conn.) - Recorded eight hits, seven runs scored and seven RBI in a 7-1 week. Registered the game-winning RBI in the bottom of the eighth inning against Saint Anselm and belted home runs against C.W. Post and Adelphi during the week.

Weekly Notes:

PACE: Head Coach Claudia Stabile earned her 500th career victory in Pace's 5-3 victory in the first game of the doubleheader against Saint Michael's on March 28.

Tim Fayed, Stonehill (So., No. 1 Singles/Doubles, Glastonbury, Conn.) - Went 3-0 at No. 1 singles last week with three straight set victories, including a 6-0, 6-0 win against Le Moyne. Also went 3-0 in three doubles matches.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Alec Spycher, Bentley (Fr., No.2 Singles/No.1 Doubles, Sarasota, Fla.) - Went 3-1 this past week. Went 2-0 in No. 2 singles, including a win against Assumption.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Robert Lubold, American International (So., No. 1 Singles/Doubles, Holyoke, Mass.) – Teamed with junior Leo Santos to register an 8-4 win at first doubles and notched a 6-3, 6-4 victory at first singles in the team’s match against Pace.

Miles Holman, Bentley (Sr., No. 4 Singles/No. 2 Doubles, East Longmeadow, Mass.) - Had a 3-1 week with two wins in No. 4 singles. Added a victory in No. 2 doubles against Assumption.

Victor Suksi, Bentley (Fr., No. 3 Singles/Doubles, West Hartford, Conn.) - Went 3-1 in two matches this past week. Went 2-0 in No. 3 singles with wins against Assumption and Stonehill, and 1-1 in No. 3 doubles.

Brian Rice, Le Moyne (Fr., No. 2 Singles/No.1 Doubles, Syracuse, N.Y.) - Posted a singles victory and teamed for a doubles win in a 5-4 loss at Holy Cross. Registered a 6-1, 6-0 win at second singles and combined for a 9-7 victory at first doubles.

Max Eppley, Merrimack (Fr., No. 4 Singles/No. 2 Doubles, Malaga, Spain) - In a 9-0 win over Franklin Pierce, won his doubles match 8-0 and his singles match 6-0, 6-0.

Adam Wilding, Merrimack (Sr., No. 2 Singles/Doubles, Lewiston, Maine) - Did not lose a game in a 9-0 win over Franklin Pierce. Won his doubles match 8-0 and his singles match 6-0, 6-0.

Dan Klein, Pace (So., No. 2 Singles/No. 1 Doubles, Norwood, N.J.) - Went 3-1 at #2 Singles and #1 Doubles in a 1-1 week. Won at #2 Singles 6-2, 6-0 in a team win over American International. Won his matches at #1 Doubles 8-6 and at #2 Singles 6-3, 6-3 against Saint Anselm.

John Oberlander, Saint Anselm (Jr., No. 3 Singles/Doubles, Beverly, Mass.) - Was 2-0 at No. 3 doubles this past week as the team had one match vs. American International suspended due to rain and defeated Pace by a 6-3 final in the lone match that was completed. Against the Yellowjackets, came away with an 8-1 victory before play was suspended. In the win over Pace, came away with an 8-2 victory. Then won his No. 3 singles match by a 6-1, 0-6, 6-0 margin.

David Spaggiari, Southern New Hampshire (Jr., No.1 Singles/Doubles, Manizales, Colombia) - Recorded singles and doubles victories in the team’s win over Assumption.

Mike Mashkevich, Stonehill (Jr., No. 2 Singles/ No. 1 Doubles, Framingham, Mass.) - Finished 2-1 in No. 2 singles while helping the team to a 3-0 week. Also went 3-0 in No. 1 doubles matches as well.

Bentley ended Assumption's 117 match conference winning streak last Tuesday with an 8-1 win. It was Assumption's first NE-10 loss since 1998.

Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Amber Chandronnait, Southern New Hampshire (So., No. 1 Singles/Doubles, Bow, N.H.) - Went 4-0 in two singles and two doubles matches last week. Posted a pair of 6-0, 6-0 singles victories against Assumption and Saint Anselm.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Ellen Mader, Bentley (Fr., No. 3 Singles, West Linn, Ore.) - Won the third singles flight at the Wheaton Invitational by beating Hailee Lange of Holy Cross 6-2, 7-6 in the final. Also went 2-0 against American International.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Sarah Pfefferkorn, American International (Sr., No. 1 Singles/Doubles, Ludlow, Mass.) - Went 4-2 this past week, going 2-1 at first doubles and first singles. Teamed with fellow senior Tyler Rockefeller to record an 8-6 first doubles win and then posted a 6-0, 6-3 win at first singles against Pace and recorded a 6-3, 6-1 win at first singles and teamed with Rockefeller to post an 8-4 victory at first doubles against Saint Rose.

Kelly Fleszar, Bentley (Jr., No. 1 Singles/Doubles, Larchmont, N.Y.) - Posted two wins against American International last week. Also won her consolation match in the first singles flight at the Wheaton Invitational.

Marcia Gilbride, Bentley (Sr., No. 3 Singles/No. 2 Doubles, Topsham, Maine) - Went 2-0 against American International, winning in No. 2 doubles and No. 3 singles. Also won the consolation match in the second singles flight at the Wheaton Invitational.

Christina Lucin, Merrimack (Jr., No. 2 Singles/Doubles, Wesley Chapel, Fla.) - Won her doubles match over Saint Rose 8-1 and her singles match 6-0, 6-1.

Rebecca Aaron-Albanese, Pace (Jr., No. 4 Singles/No. 2 Doubles, Franconia, N.H.) - Won at #4 Singles and #2 Doubles in a team win over American International.

Virginia Dalrymple, Saint Anselm (Jr., No. 2 Singles/Doubles, Surry, Maine) - Went 2-0 in number two doubles and 1-1 in number two singles in a split weekend. In the 9-0 sweep versus Pace, posted an 8-1 victory in doubles and a 6-2, 6-4 win in singles.

Erika Sartor, Saint Anselm (So., No .3 Singles/ No. 1 Doubles, Andover, Mass.) - Went 2-0 in number three singles and 1-1 in number one doubles this past weekend. In the sweep of Pace, won 8-2 in doubles and 6-2, 6-4 in singles. In the team loss to Southern New Hampshire, posted a 6-4, 6-1 win in number three singles.

Deahna Giguere, Saint Michael's (So., No. 2 Singles, Oakland, Maine) - In a 7-2 team loss to Stonehill, recorded a three-set victory at No. 2 singles.

Melissa Leighton, Saint Rose (So., No. 2 Singles, Shokan, N.Y.) - Went 2-1 in singles play last week, including a 2-0 mark from the No. 2 position. Rallied to take a 0-6, 6-3, 10-8 decision in the 8-1 team loss versus Assumption. Went the distance again versus American International, coming away with a 6-7 (4-7), 6-2, 10-4 triumph in the 7-2 team victory.

Catalina Echeverry, Southern New Hampshire (So., No. 2 Singles/No. 1 Doubles, Cali, Colombia) - Posted a 4-0 record with two singles and two doubles victories against Assumption and Saint Anselm.

Sarah Hickey, Stonehill (Fr., No. 5 Singles/No.3 Doubles, Lee, Mass.) - Won in straight sets, 6-1, 6-2 at No. 5 singles in her only match of the week. Also won 8-2 at No. 3 doubles in the team win over Saint Michael’s.

Leah White, Stonehill (Fr., No. 3 Singles/No. 2 Doubles, East Walpole, Mass.) - Won in three sets in her only singles match of the week. Also claimed a victory at No. 2 doubles in the team’s win over Saint Michael’s.

Northeast-10 Men’s Track Athlete of the Week
Donte Brown, UMass Lowell (So., Raynham, Mass.) - Won the 400 meter hurdles and provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championship at the Trinity College Bantam Invitational. Posted a time of 52.25 seconds, currently the second-fastest time in the country.

Northeast-10 Women’s Track Athlete of the Week
Prisna Doriscat, UMass Lowell (Jr., Boston, Mass.) - Won three events at the Trinity College Bantam Invitational, including the 100 meter dash (12.80 seconds) and 200 meter dash (26.79). Also ran a leg on the 4X100 meter relay team which placed first in 50.21 seconds.

Northeast-10 Men’s Track Freshman of the Week
Dominic Smith, American International (Fr., Bloomfield, Conn.) - Won the 100-meter dash at the Trinity Bantam Invitational with a school record time of 11.21 seconds.

Northeast-10 Women’s Track Freshman of the Week
Ashley Bell, Southern Connecticut (Fr., Riverhead, N.Y.) - Took second in the 200 meters (26.95 seconds) at the Trinity Invitational.

Northeast-10 Men’s Field Athlete of the Week
Tom Kilby, Stonehill (Jr., Fall River, Mass.) - Set a new school record in the javelin with a toss of 190 feet which was good enough for second place at the meet but erased his own old mark of 186 feet three inches which he set in the Northeast-10 Championships last season at Bryant.

Northeast-10 Women’s Field Athlete of the Week
Yvonne Perkins, Southern Connecticut (Sr., Danbury, Conn.) - Won the shot put with a NCAA provisional qualifying mark of 13.64 meters. Also placed second in the hammer throw and third in the discus with a toss of 41.85 meters and 36.02 meters respectively at the Trinity Invitational.

Northeast-10 Men’s Field Freshman of the Week
Shaddi Ali, UMass Lowell (Fr., Stoneham, Mass.) - Won the high jump at the Trinity College Bantam Invitational, clearing 6' 1.5''.

Northeast-10 Women’s Field Freshman of the Week
Samantha Spindel, Southern Connecticut (Fr., Brewster, N.Y.) - Won the discus with a toss of 38.75 meters and placed fourth in the hammer throw with a throw of 39.51 meters at the Trinity Invitational.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Peter Jusseaume, Assumption (Fr., Marshfield, Mass.) - At the Worcester City Championship Meet placed 2nd in the 800 meter race with a career best time of 1:59.69. Also added an 8th place finish in the javelin throw with a career best throw of 134-11 feet.

Chris O'Day, Assumption (Jr., Braintree, Mass.) - At the Worcester City Championship Meet won the 1500 and the 800 meter races. Won the 1500 meter race with a career best time of 4:06.62. Won the 800 with a time of 1:59.32.

Dan Darcy, Bentley (Jr., Sharon, Mass.) - Finished 27th of 100 in the 1500, including third of 70 in Section II, at the Raleigh Relays with a time of 4:00.34. Also ran the 400 in 52.21 seconds, finishing 77th amongst 101.

Evelyn Marrero, Bentley (Fr., Amsterdam, N.Y.) - At the Raleigh Relays, set a personal best in the 5,000 meters with a time of 19:02.76, good for 41st amongst 69 runners. Was also 81st of 109 in the 1500 with a 5:07.70.

Melissa Nash, Bentley (Sr., Marshfield, Mass.) - Competing at the Raleigh Relays, provisionally qualified for the NCAA Division II Championships in the 5,000 meters with a time of 17:33.00, an outdoor PR by 11 seconds. In the three unseeded sections, was eighth of 69 runners. Also posted a time of 4:50.48 in the 1500, finishing 65th of 109.

Mike Vatti, Bentley (Fr., Easton, Pa.) - At the Raleigh Relays, set an outdoor PR in the 400 meters, with his time of 49.18 seconds good for 23rd in a 101-runner field.

Jacqui Barrett, UMass Lowell (Jr., Woburn, Mass.) - Placed second in the shot put at the Trinity College Bantam Invitational. Provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championship with a throw of 44' 6.75''.

Cory Murray, UMass Lowell (So., Methuen, Mass.) - Won the shot put at the Trinity College Bantam Invitational. Threw the shot for a distance of 49' 3.5''.

Lauren Raimondi, UMass Lowell (So., East Longmeadow, Mass.) - Captured two events at the Trinity College Bantam Invitational, including the high jump, in which she cleared 4' 11.75''. Also won the 100 meter hurdles in 15.53 seconds.

Melissa Bredice, Saint Rose (Jr., Colonie, N.Y.) - Was second overall in the 10,000 meter run with a 42:00.06 clocking at the Dick Shea Invitational that was hosted by Army.

Patrick Cullen, Saint Rose (Sr., Hyde Park, N.Y.) - Removed nearly one minute off his own school standard with a 32:38.8 clocking to win the 10,000m run by 24 seconds at the Dick Shea Invitational that was hosted by Army.

Diwani Augustine, Southern Connecticut (Jr., East Hartford, Conn.) – Led the team with a first place finish in the triple jump with a leap of 14.33 meters at the Trinity Invitational.

Nicholas Fedor, Southern Connecticut (So., Bethan, Conn.) - Placed second in the hammer throw (50.34m)at the Trinity Invitational.

Josh Perry, Southern Connecticut (Fr., Naugatuck, Conn.) - Won the 1500 meter run in 4:04.18 and was a member of the 4x400 meter relay team that placed second with a time of 3:23.72 at the Trinity Invitational.

Everet Walcott, Southern Connecticut (Fr., Manchester, Conn.) - Placed second in the 110 meter hurdles in 16.29 seconds and seventh in the 400 meter hurdles in 58.91 seconds at the Trinity Invitational.

Christen Carrier, Stonehill (Fr., Manchester, N.H.) - At the Bryant Invitational, won the 400 meter dash and then led the 4x400 meter relay team to a second place finish behind Holy Cross.

Torrey Price, Stonehill (Sr., Sleepy Hollow, N.Y.) - Finished second in the 100 meter dash, fourth in the 200 meters and in both was the top Division II finisher at the Bryant Invitational. Then ran on the 4x100 meter relay team that finished second to URI.

SAINT ROSE: The Golden Knights established three school records at the Dick Shea Invitational that was hosted by Army on Saturday. Senior Pat Cullen removed nearly one minute off his own school standard with a 32:38.8 clocking to win the 10,000m run, sophomore Alison Vogelien (Voorheesville, N.Y.) went a school record 1.50 meters to tie for fourth in the women’s long jump and freshman Charles Karam (Clifton Park, N.Y.) accounted for the third Saint Rose standard with a sixth place time of 50.66 in the 400m dash.
