Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Jeff Bercume, Merrimack (Sr., OF, Leicester, Mass.) - Tallied 13 hits and 12 RBI in 30 at-bats. Hit a pair of homers and drove in five runs in an 8-6 win over Assumption.

Northeast-10 Pitcher of the Week
Tom Cote, Franklin Pierce (Sr., SP, Swanzey, N.H.) - Threw 16 scoreless innings and posted a 2-0 record in two starts last week. Allowed 10 hits, walked three, struck out 21 and held opponents to a .169 batting average (10-for-59). Against Assumption, threw eight shutout innings, allowed four hits, walked one and struck out 11 to tally the win. Also posted a victory against Saint Anselm, when he tossed eight scoreless innings, allowed six hits, walked two and struck out 10.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Dan DeCoste, Saint Anselm (Fr., 1B, Chelmsford, Mass.) - Raised his average from .263 to .419 by going 13-for-24 and batting .542 in eight games this past week. Reached base in eight straight games and extended his hitting streak to seven games. Also added a double and four RBI on the week.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Mike Foley, Assumption (So., OF, Worcester, Mass.) - In a 4-2 week, led the team with a .458 batting average. Had 11 hits and four RBI. In the second game of the double header against Merrimack went an impressive 5-for-5.

Garrett Stenhouse, Bentley (Jr., 1B, Warwick, R.I.) - Hit .379 (11-29) with four doubles, two homers, four runs scored and four RBI during a 3-4 week. Had a .438 on base percentage and slugged .724. Hit safely in all seven games with four two-hit games.

Steve Carr, Franklin Pierce (Sr., 1B, Nahant, Mass.) - Hit .450 (9-for-20) in a 5-1 week. Clubbed two doubles and a pair of home runs, drove in six runs, scored six times, drew a pair of walks and stole two bases. Had an .850 slugging percentage and a .500 on-base percentage.

Tim Keene, UMass Lowell (Sr., 3B, Berlin, N.H.) - Hit .407 (11-for-27) with eight RBI, three runs and three doubles. Had a hit in six of seven games, including three multi-hit games. Was 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs in a win at Southern New Hampshire.

Jared Notargiacomo, UMass Lowell (Jr., C, Newburyport, Mass.) - Hit a team-leading .444 (8-for-18) with a home run, a double, three runs and five RBI this past week. Had a hit in all five games played. Went 3-for-3 at Saint Rose.

Dustin Ramey, UMass Lowell (Jr., SP, Kingston, N.H.) - Pitched eight innings allowing just seven hits and one unearned run to get the win versus Southern New Hampshire. Struck out a season high 14 and walked just one.

Tom Rombilus, New Haven (So., 3B, Monroe, Conn.) - Hit .423 for the week with six RBI, four runs scored and two stolen bases. Did not make an error in the field while making four putouts and 12 assists. Went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI against Saint Anselm and finished 3-for-5 with three RBI and one run scored versus Southern New Hampshire.

Garret Keenan, Saint Rose (So., OF, Massapequa, N.Y.) - Batted .385 (10-for-26) with five RBI, four runs and a pair of homers. Furthermore, slugged .654, was hit twice and walked once to help account for a .448 on-base percentage. Went 1-for-3 with a solo shot against Stonehill and wound up 2-for-5 with an RBI single at Stonehill Friday and finished 2-for-4 in a 10-1 setback at UMass Lowell. Finally, capped things with a 3-for-5 effort to go with three RBI and a home run in a 6-5 win versus UMass Lowell Sunday.

Jeremiah St. Louis, Saint Rose (Sr., SP, Tupper Lake, N.Y.) - Went 2-0 with a 0.75 ERA and 18 strikeouts in 12.0 innings of work this past week. Furthermore, held opponents to a .119 batting average and surrendered five hits throughout three appearances. Tossed an inning of no-hit ball in a 9-0 win over Stonehill. Fanned 12 batters while yielding three hits in 8.0 innings of an 8-1 victory over American International. Then picked up the win after tossing three scoreless innings and striking out four in a 6-5 extra-inning triumph versus UMass Lowell.

Nick DeProspo, Southern Connecticut (So., C, Worcester, Mass.) - Went 8-for-23 (.348) with 10 RBI, two doubles and two triples in a 6-1 week. Recorded four RBI at UMass Lowell, going 2-for-4 from the plate with a double. Went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI at American International and followed that up with a 2-for-3, two triples and two RBI performance against American International at home.

Ryan Geffert, Southern Connecticut (Fr., 1B, Plymouth, Pa.) - Batted .524 (11-21) with two doubles, nine RBI, six walks and seven runs scored. Went 3-for-4 with three RBI and a run scored against Merrimack. Followed that up with another three RBI performance, going 2-for-2 from the plate at American International

Chris Zbin, Southern Connecticut (Fr., SP, Colchester, Conn.) - Recorded two wins during the week without allowing an earned run. Pitched a complete game at UMass Lowell, allowing one unearned run on three hits with six strikeouts and one walk. A couple days later, pitched five innings allowing one unearned run on three hits and seven strikeouts.

Scott Hackett, Stonehill (So., 2B, Bangor, Maine) - In seven games last week hit .458 (11-24) with at least one hit in every game and added five runs and five RBI.

Weekly Notes:

NEW HAVEN: Senior Evan Okon set the career record for hits at UNH with 237 against Saint Anselm. Okon surpassed Rob Skinnon who had the previous record of 233. Okon is also currently tied for first in career doubles with 53.

Northeast-10 Co-Players of the Week
Jamie Farrea, Assumption (Sr., Portsmouth, R.I.) - At the River Hawk Invitational shot rounds of 77 and 74 to be +9 for the two day event. Finished in a tie for second and helped lead the Greyhounds to a fourth place finish overall.

Kent St. Charles, Pace (So., Wells, Maine) - Finished in a two-way tie for second place with a score of 151 (73-78) at the River Hawk Invitational.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
John Devito, Southern New Hampshire (Fr., Nashua, N.H.) - Tied for ninth overall at the River Hawk Invitational with a two-day score of 155.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Alex Macielak, Bentley (So., Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) - Tied for fifth place in the UMass-Lowell River Hawk Invitational with a 36-hole total of 153 (81-72). Second-round 72 was tied for the tournament’s low score.

Brian Fleckles, Franklin Pierce (Fr., Sandwich, Mass.) - Placed eighth overall with a five-over-par round of 77 at the WNEC Invitational. Led the Ravens to a fifth-place finish at the event with his second-lowest round of the year.

Anthony Gallardo, UMass Lowell (Sr., Methuen, Mass.) - Carded a two-day score of 153 to place in a tie for fifth at the UMass Lowell River Hawk Invitational. Carded a four-over 75 on day one and followed with a 78 on day two to lead UMass Lowell to third place.

Jeff Newell, Southern New Hampshire (Sr., Chicopee, Mass.) - Led the team to a second place finish at the River Hawk Invitational by placing fourth with a two-day total of 152.

Shane Winslow, Southern New Hampshire (Sr., Portsmouth, N.H.) - Tied for ninth overall at the River Hawk Invitational with a two-day score of 155.

Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Mike Ball, Southern New Hampshire (Sr., A, Salem, N.H.) - Totaled 11 goals and five assists in a 2-0 week. Registered 10 points (seven goals, three assists) in a win over American International.

Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Cory Spinale, Merrimack (Jr., G, Wakefield, Mass.) - Stopped 14 shots in an 11-6 win over Saint Anselm. Stopped five shots and earned his first career assist in a 17-5 win over Pace.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Andrew Brown, Southern New Hampshire (Fr., M, Marshfield, Mass.) - Totaled seven goals and three assists in a 2-0 week. Scored three times in a 12-8 win over Assumption, then totaled four goals and three assists in a win over American International.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Andy Curtis, Bentley (Sr., A, Chelmsford, Mass.) - Helped Bentley to a win in its lone game of the week with three goals and one assist for a game-high four points against Assumption.

Kris Dambach, Bentley (Sr., G, Chester, N.J.) - Made 10 saves and allowed just two goals in the win over Assumption.

Matt Forzaglia, Franklin Pierce (Fr., M, Croton-on-Hudson, N.Y.) - Led the Ravens with four goals over two games last week. Collected ten groundballs for the week as well. Scored twice in the setback to Saint Michael's. Followed that up with two more goals against Saint Anselm.

Jack Harmatuk, Le Moyne (So., A, Syracuse, N.Y.) - Tallied seven points on four goals and three assists in a 2-0 week. Notched three goals and two assists in a 16-2 win over American International. Registered one goal and one assist in a 7-3 victory over Saint Michael's.

Doug McIver, Le Moyne (Sr., G, Altamont, N.Y.) - Registered eight saves, while allowing just three goals, in 84:33 of action between the pipes in a 2-0 week. Faced just two shots, saving both, in 24:33 in a 16-2 win against American International. Made six saves in a 7-3 win over Saint Michael's.

Michael Balbuena, Merrimack (So., A, Falmouth, Mass.) - Netted eight goals and added an assist in two wins this past week.

Greg Rogowski, Merrimack (Sr., A, Cohoes, N.Y.) - Tallied eight goals and four assists leading Merrimack to wins over Saint Anselm and Pace. Posted six goals, including his 200th goal, in a 17-5 win over Pace.

James Hammel, Pace (Jr., A, North Caldwell, N.J.) - Totaled six points in two games this past week. Tallied three goals and two assists against Molloy. Scored a goal against Merrimack.

Matt Surette, Saint Anselm (Sr., M, Wakefield, Mass.) - Scored six goals and one assist for seven points in a 1-1 week. Had a hat trick vs. nationally-ranked Merrimack and put up three goals and one assist in the win at Franklin Pierce.

Andrew Buccellato, Saint Michael's (Fr., A, Glen Rock, N.J.) - In a 1-1 week, totaled six points, all on goals. The six goals were a career-high and all came in a 15-8 victory at Franklin Pierce.

Brendan O'Brien, Southern New Hampshire (Fr., G, Hopkinton, Mass.) - Recorded an 8.57 goals-against average and .588 save percentage in a 2-0 week. Made 12 saves and allowed eight goals in a complete-game win over Assumption, then notched eight saves in 38:04 against American International.

Weekly Notes:

ASSUMPTION: Kevin Klaskin became just the third Greyhound in Men's Lacrosse to score 100 career points. He is now second on the all time points list with 102 points (46 goals and 56 assists) through just three seasons.

LE MOYNE:
Clinched at least a share of the Northeast-10 Conference Regular Season Championship for the ninth time in the last 10 seasons.

MERRIMACK:
Senior All-American Greg Rogowski became the first player in school history to tally 200 career goals in a 17-5 win Saturday over Pace. Rogowski has 205 career goals.

SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE:
Senior Mike Ball became the 20th player in SNHU program history to record 100 career points Saturday at American International. He has recorded 90 goals and 19 assists over his career.

Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Alyssa Ritchie, Bentley (Sr., M, North Andover, Mass.) – Led Bentley to a 2-1 week with 20 points on 15 goals and five assists. Scored five goals in each game and was credited with the game-winning goal in both wins.

Northeast-10 Goalkeeper and Freshman of the Week
Maureen Spellman, New Haven (Fr., G, Trumbull, Conn.) - Had 29 saves and a .592 save percentage in a 3-0 week. Finished the week with a 6.67 goals against average. Allowed just nine goals while recording 15 saves against No. 8 Stonehill. Made five saves while allowing three goals against Saint Michael's and stopped nine shots against Molloy.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Jaclyn Griffin, Bentley (Jr., M, Barrington, Ill.) - Averaged four points over three games last week. Had nine goals and three assists. Five of those goals came against Merrimack.

Christina Guglielmo, Bentley (Jr., G, Fair Haven, N.J.) - Helped Bentley to a 2-1 week by making 27 saves and holding opponents to 9.67 goals per game. Best game of the week came against Southern New Hampshire where she made 12 saves.

Jordan Baillargeon, Franklin Pierce (So., M, Westfield, Mass.) – In a 3-0 week, collected 13 goals and five assists for 18 points - posting six points in all three wins. Scored the game winning goals in each of the three victories, while also contributing six draw controls, four ground balls and two caused turnovers. Posted four goals and two assists in the 16-14 overtime win against Saint Anselm. Played a role in overtime goals, netting the winner and assisting on the insurance tally. In the win versus Southern Connecticut (11-8),scored five goals and an assist. Collected four goals and two assists in the win at Norwich (18-12) to open the week.

Jillian Bolduc, Franklin Pierce (Fr., G, Atkinson, N.H.) - Averaged 13.7 saves per game while playing all 186 minutes in goal in a 3-0 week. Posted a 10.97 GAA and .547 save percentage for the week. Made 11 of her 15 saves after halftime, including three in the final three minutes of regulation to force overtime, then three more stops in extra time, in the 16-14 overtime win against Saint Anselm. Opened the week by making 11 of her 16 saves (one shy of season-best) in the first half in the 18-12 win at Norwich. Closed the week out with ten stops in 11-8 win at Southern Connecticut.

Lauren Stille, Franklin Pierce (So., A, North Quincy, Mass.) – In a 3-0 week, totaled 13 goals and three assists for 16 points. Matched a program record with three assists to go with six goals in the win at Norwich. Netted four goals in the win at Southern Connecticut after scoring three times in the overtime triumph against Saint Anselm

Kelly Pasquantonio, Merrimack (So., A, Plainville, Mass.) - Scored 10 goals and added two assists in three games this past week. Tallied six goals against Dowling.

Mallory Ferrandiz, New Haven (Sr., M, West Sayville, N.Y.) - Had 12 points on eight goals and four assists in a 3-0 week. Picked up 13 ground balls and caused 10 turnovers. Scored three goals, caused three turnovers and collected two draw controls in a victory against No. 8 Stonehill. Totaled five points (three goals, two assists) and a perfect shooting percentage against Saint Michael's and had two goals and two assists with six ground balls and five caused turnovers against Molloy.

Courtney Ford, Saint Anselm (So., A, Concord, Mass.) - Netted five goals in the team’s lone action of the week in a 16-14 OT loss to Franklin Pierce. Rattled off three goals in less than five minutes to help force overtime and grabbed her 30th goal of the year.

Sherry Darrell, Southern New Hampshire (So., A, Bow, N.H.) - Totaled three goals and five assists in a 1-1 week. Led the the team with two goals and three assists in a win over American International.

Hannah Moriarty, Southern New Hampshire (Fr., G, Chelmsford, Mass.) - Stopped 10 of the 17 shots on goal she faced in a complete-game win over American International.

Liza Gross, Stonehill (Jr., M, Loudonville, N.Y.) - In two games this past week, scored five goals, had four caused turnovers, and nine draw controls. Had four goals, two ground balls and two caused turnovers in a 10-9 loss to New Haven.

Weekly Notes:

BENTLEY: Alyssa Ritchie became just the fifth player in Northeast-10 history to record 300 points in Bentley's win over American International on Thursday. The milestone came when she scored her third goal of the game 49 seconds into the second half. Through Sunday's game, she has 309 points (185 g, 124 a) and is 18 points away from breaking the conference career scoring record.

FRANKLIN PIERCE: Franklin Pierce has set a new single-season record after posting its sixth win of the season at Southern Connecticut State on Saturday. The Ravens, who have won three-straight games for the first time in program history, surpassed the previous record of five wins set in 2003. Sophomore Lauren Stille matched the program's single-game record for the second time this season (third career) with her three assists at Norwich on Monday, setting a new program record with 26 career assists. Stille also moved into second place on the program's career goals list with 122. Sophomore Jordan Baillargeon enters the week just three points shy of becoming just the fifth player in program history and third this season to reach the 100 career point mark. Baillargeon's 13 assists this season are just one shy of the program's single-season record of 14 set by Stille last year.

NEW HAVEN: Senior Brigid Brady scored her 200th career goal in a game against Saint Michael's. She currently owns the record at UNH with 207 goals in her career.

STONEHILL:
Last week, senior Michelle Kelly became the fourth player in Stonehill history to record 300 points in a career. She is also two assists shy of becoming the fifth player in NCAA history with 200 goals and 100 assists in a career.

Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Nicole Arpin , Southern New Hampshire ( Sr. , OF , Cheshire, CT ) - Batted .462 (12-26) with four home runs and 12 RBI in a 6-2 week. Was 4-for-6 with three home runs and eight RBI, including a grand slam, in a doubleheader sweep of Molloy.

Northeast-10 Pitcher of the Week
Breanne Gleason, New Haven (Jr., SP, Bristol, Conn.) - Finished 8-2 for the week with a 1.22 ERA and 70 strikeouts. Had nine complete games and two shutouts. Pitched a complete game with 10 strikeouts while allowing one earned run against Bentley. Had a complete game one-hitter with six strikeouts against Pace. Allowed no runs and five hits over seven innings against Southern Connecticut State. Also hit .355 at the plate with two home runs, eight RBI and four runs scored.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Kelcie Cashel, Le Moyne (Fr., OF, Lacona, N.Y.) - Hit .368 (7-for-19) with five runs scored, four stolen bases and three runs batted in a 6-2 week. Posted two hits and two runs scored in a 7-3 victory in the opening game of a doubleheader at American International. Recorded two hits, two runs scored, a run driven in and stole a base in the 12-4 win over UMass Lowell in the nightcap of a doubleheader.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Kellie Brown, American International (Sr., 1B, Gill, Mass.) - Batted .417 (10-24) with three doubles, one homerun, six RBI and three runs scored. Went 2-for-4, including a two-run homer, with three RBI in a 9-5 win at Saint Michael's and was 5-for-9 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in a doubleheader against Caldwell.

Ashley Bilodeau, Assumption (So., 3B, Manchester, Conn.) - In a 3-5 week, had a .435 batting average. Had 10 hits including a double and a home run. Drove in seven runs and scored eight. Defensively made 12 put outs and made 15 assists and had zero errors in eight games.

Alex Hitchcock, Bentley (Sr., SS, Abington, Mass.) - In a 2-4 week, hit .421 (8-19) with five runs scored, a double, two triples and two RBI. Had a .450 on base percentage, slugged .684, and handled 21 of 22 chances at shortstop. Had three two-hit games.

Bailey Phillips, Le Moyne (Jr., OF, Rochester, N.Y.) - Hit .400 (10-for-25) with five runs scored, three runs batted in and three stolen bases in a 6-2 week. Recorded three hits, a stolen base and a run scored in a 5-1 win at American International. Registered two hits, two runs batted in and three runs scored in the 8-1 win over Franklin Pierce. Capped the week by picking up three hits, driving in one run and scoring once in a 12-4 victory over UMass Lowell.

Jennifer Farrelly, Le Moyne (Sr., SP, Latham, N.Y.) - Went 3-1 with a 1.00 ERA and 34 strikeouts in 28 innings pitched in a 6-2 week. Struck out a career-high 13 batters in a 1-0 loss against Southern Connecticut, despite allowing just three hits. Registered eight strikeouts in back-to-back home shutouts against Franklin Pierce and UMass Lowell. Retired the final 19 batters faced against Franklin Pierce. At the plate, hit .333 (7-21) with two home runs, three runs scored and four runs batted in. Homered twice in a 3-for-4 performance, while picking up the win in the pitcher's circle against American International.

Kristen LeMay, Merrimack (So., SS, Shrewsbury, Mass.) - Hit three homers and drove in six runs, her first career homers, in the first three innings of a 14-13 loss to Saint Anselm. Batted .400 for the week with six hits in 15 at-bats.

Nicole Downs, New Haven (Jr., 3B, Seymour, Conn.) - Hit .417 this past week with six doubles, 10 runs scored and eight RBI. Had at least one hit and nine of 10 games. Went 3-for-4 with a double and run scored against Merrimack. Finished 3-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and two RBI against Pace. Had a game-winning, walk-off home run against Southern Connecticut State. Also was perfect in the field, recording 27 putouts and 12 assists.

Patricia Hurley, Pace (Sr., 1B, Assonet, Mass.) - Batted .438 (14-for-32) and slugged .750 with four doubles, two homeruns and 14 RBI in a 6-4 week. Went 2-for-7 with a double and two RBI in a sweep over Franklin Pierce. Went 4-for-6 with a homerun, a double, five RBI, and two runs scored in a sweep over Assumption. Went 6-for-9 with a homerun, six RBI and three runs scored in a sweep over Stonehill.

Jackie Giannino, Saint Anselm (So., 3B, Beverly, Mass.) - In 10 games this past week, hit .438 with 14 hits, including seven doubles, along with seven runs scored, one home run and eight runs batted in. Also had a .688 slugging percentage, a .471 on-base percentage, was 1-for-1 in stolen base attempts and was perfect in the field. For the week, had a hit in all 10 games and is currently on a 10-game hitting streak.

Kelly Egan, Saint Michael's (Jr., 2B, Milford, Mass.) - Batted .455 (10-for-22) in a 6-2 week. Collected 14 total bases, scored two runs, had three RBI, and had a team-high four doubles on the week. Posted a slugging percentage of .636 and an on base percentage of .455.

Ashley Harkins, Saint Michael's (Sr., OF, Colchester, Vt.) - In a 6-2 week, went 13-for-29 (.448). Also scored 11 runs, hit two home runs, drove in three runs, and collected 22 total bases over the week. Posted a .759 slugging percentage as well as a .484 on base percentage. Also scored her 31st run of the season on Sunday, setting a new single-season record.

Megan O’Connor, Saint Michael's (Sr., SP, Georgetown, Mass.) - In a 6-2 week, went 4-0 on the hill with a 1.56 ERA. All four of her wins came in complete game fashion, with one being a complete game shutout. Threw 31.1 innings over the week, allowing just seven earned runs, striking out 18 and walking just one. The opposition hit just .264 in the four starts.

Amanda Morano, Saint Rose (Jr., C, Highland, N.Y.) - Batted .423 (11-for-26) with six runs and five RBI on the strength of two doubles, a triple and a home run during a 4-4 week. Furthermore slugged .692 and registered a .464 on-base percentage. Went 3-for-4 with a run and RBI double in game two of a doubleheader at Saint Michael's. Went 2-for-3 with a double, triple and two runs in a 3-2 win at Stonehill. Then was 4-for-4 with a two-run homer in an 8-4 setback versus UMass Lowell.

Nicole Welch, Saint Rose (Sr., SP, Albany, N.Y.) - Went 4-1 with a 0.94 ERA and a pair of shutouts. Fanned 29 batters in 29.2 innings of work, surrendering just seven extra-base hits and a .223 opponent batting average. Fanned seven and walked two over the distance in a 7-2 win at Saint Michael's. Yielded just four hits in a 3-0 shutout win at Stonehill. Then fanned eight batters, walked none and surrendered an unearned run in a 3-2 win versus UMass Lowell. Struck out seven and walked one while allowing four hits in an 8-0 shutout win versus Franklin Pierce.

Melissa Vitagliano, Southern New Hampshire (So., SS, Bedford, N.H.) - Hit .440 (11-25) with three home runs and eight runs batted in in a 6-2 week. Was 5-8 with three RBI in a doubleheader sweep of Franklin Pierce and 4-6 with three RBI in a doubleheader sweep of Molloy.

Kate Brides, Stonehill (Sr., OF, West Bridgewater, Mass.) – In ten games this past week, hit .471 (16-34) with a double and a triple. Also added six runs and five RBI.


Weekly Notes:


NEW HAVEN: Junior Breanne Gleason set the mark for career strikeouts at UNH against Merrimack and now has 680 in her career. She bettered the previous mark of 614 set by Lynn Cimino.

SAINT MICHAEL’S: Senior Ashley Harkins set the single-season runs scored record on Sunday by scroing her 31st run of the season. The previous record was 30, held by Casey Brooks in 2005.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Rishi Rajpal, Merrimack (Fr., #1 Singles/No. 2 Doubles, New Delhi, India) - Picked up six wins in eight matches this past week, going 3-1 in both singles and doubles play. Finished the regular season 6-1 in singles conference matches.


Weekly Honor Roll:

Ryo Miyazaki, Franklin Pierce (Fr., No. 5 Singles, Tokyo, Japan) - Posted a 2-0 record in singles matches last week. Notched a 6-1, 6-2 win in fifth singles at Assumption and recorded a 6-3, 6-3 win in fifth singles at Saint Anselm.

Helder Noguiera, Franklin Pierce (Sr., No. 1 Singles/Doubles, Dourados, Brazil) - Posted a 2-0 singles record and a 1-1 doubles record last week. Recorded a 6-4, 6-3 win in first singles at Assumption and followed that up with a 6-2, 6-2 win in first singles at Saint Anselm. Teamed with Adit Phataraprasit to post a 9-7 win in first doubles at Saint Anselm.

Ben Jordan, Le Moyne (Sr., No. 6 Singles/No. 3 Doubles, Cassville, N.Y.) - In a 9-0 win over Utica, won at the sixth singles position in straight sets 6-1, 6-0. Also teamed up with Chris Meeker at third singles to pick up an 8-0 victory.

James Shelp, Le Moyne (Fr., No.3 Singles/No. 2 Doubles, Pittsford, N.Y.) - In a 9-0 win over Utica, won at the third singles position in straight sets 6-0, 6-2. Also teamed up with David Norton at second doubles to pick up an 8-3 victory.

Tim Fayed, Stonehill (So., No. 1 Singles/No. 1 Doubles, Glastonbury, Conn.) - Went 2-0 in two singles matches and also had two wins at No. 1 doubles. His wins in singles and doubles against Merrimack helped the team clinch their first NE-10 regular season crown.

John Lescure, Saint Michael's (Sr., No. 1 Singles/Doubles, Kennebunk, Maine) - In a 2-1 week, collected two wins at No. 1 singles and doubles. In a 9-0 team win over American International, won at No. 1 singles 6-0, 6-0, and 8-4 at No. 1 doubles. In a 7-2 team win over Assumption, won at No. 1 singles 6-0, 6-1, and 8-4 at No. 1 doubles.

Sean Steigerwald, Saint Michael's (Sr., No. 2 Singles/No. 1 Doubles, North Andover, Mass.) - In a 2-1 week, totaled two wins at No. 2 singles and two wins at No. 1 doubles. In a 9-0 team win over American International, won at No. 2 singles 6-0, 6-0, and 8-4 in No. 1 doubles. In a 7-2 team win over Assumption, won at No. 2 singles 6-4, 6-4, and 8-4 at No. 1 doubles.

Luis Ramirez, Southern New Hampshire (Sr., No. 2 Singles/No. 1 Doubles, San Cristobal, Venezuela) - Posted singles and doubles wins in the team’s lone match of the week against American International.

David Spaggiari, Southern New Hampshire (Jr., No. 1 Singles/Doubles, Manizales, Colombia) - Posted singles and doubles wins in the team’s lone match of the week against American International.

William Herchel, Stonehill (Sr., No. 5 Singles/No. 2 Doubles, Hampden, Mass.) - Went 2-0 with two straight set wins at No. 5 singles and won two matches at No. 2 doubles. Won in both singles and doubles against Merrimack to help the team clinch their first NE-10 regular season crown.

Jason Allegretti, Stonehill (Sr., No.4 Singles/ No.2 Doubles, Lincoln, R.I.) - Won two singles matches in straight sets and also went 2-0 in doubles this past week. Won 6-3, 6-4, and in doubles against Merrimack to help clinch the team’s first NE-10 regular season title.

Lindsay Horne, Saint Michael's (Jr., No. 1 Singles/Doubles, Scituate, Mass.) - In a 4-0 week, won all of her No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles matches. In a 9-0 team win over Saint Rose, won 6-3, 6-0 in her singles match and 8-3 in doubles. In a 9-0 team win over American International, won 6-2, 6-2 in singles and 8-1 in doubles. In a close 5-4 team win over Merrimack, posted a 6-4, 6-4 win in singles and 8-6 in doubles. In a 9-0 team win over New Haven, won 6-0, 6-1 in singles and 8-1 in doubles.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Amy Toegemann, Stonehill (Fr., No.2 Singles/No.1 Doubles, Narragansett, R.I.) - Against Queens, the region's fifth ranked team, won at No. 1 doubles 8-3 and followed that up with a victory at No. 2 singles 3-6, 6-2, 6-4.

Marcia Gilbride, Bentley (Sr., No. 3 Singles/No.1 Doubles) - Had a perfect week for Bentley with a 4-0 record. Won both her No. 1 doubles matches and both No. 3 singles matches.

Heather Haggerty, Bentley (Sr., No. 2 Singles/No. 1 Doubles, Hanover, Mass.) - Had a 3-1 week, prevailing in both of her doubles matches and winning a singles match against Saint Anselm on Senior Day.

Kara Murphy, Bentley (Fr., No. 5 Singles/No. 3 Doubles, Worcester, Pa.) - Went 4-0 on the week. Had straight sets wins in No. 5 singles against Saint Anselm and Assumption, and also won both her doubles matches.

Amanda Carroll, Merrimack (So., No. 3 Singles/No. 1 Doubles, Tewksbury, Mass.) - Went 9-1 this week past week, leading the Warriors to three wins in five matches.

Natalija Subotic, Pace (Sr., No. 1 Singles/Doubles, Bradenton, Fla.) - Won 6-1, 6-0 at #1 Singles and 8-1 at #1 Doubles in a team win over New Haven.

McAul Lindermuth, Saint Anselm (Sr., No. 3 Singles/ No. 2 Doubles, Pepperell, Mass.) - Moved up to No. 3 singles this week due to injuries and defeated Merrimack, Franklin Pierces and American International in singles and the Ravens No. 1 doubles 9-8 (7-5) to help push the Hawks into the playoffs.

Deahna Giguere, Saint Michael's (So., No. 2 Singles/No. 1 Doubles, Oakland, Maine) - In a 4-0 week, won all of her No. 1 doubles matches and won all but one of her No. 2 singles matches. In a 9-0 team win over Saint Rose, won 6-2, 6-2 in singles and 8-3 in doubles. In a 9-0 team win over American International, won 8-0 in singles and 8-1 in doubles. In a 5-4 team win over Merrimack, won her doubles match 8-6. In a 9-0 team win over New Haven, won 6-0, 6-0 in singles and 8-1 in doubles.

Laura Nason, Saint Anselm (Sr., No 1 Singles/ No 1 Doubles, Shelton, Conn.) - Has won her last four No. 1 singles matches en route to clinching a playoff spot for Saint Anselm. Had the lone win against Bentley, a 6-3, 6-4 win versus Merrimack.

Amber Chandronnait, Southern New Hampshire (So., No. 1 Singles/Doubles, Bow, N.H.) - Dropped just two games en route to singles wins over Merrimack and Queens (NY), including a 6-0, 6-0 win against the Warriors. Also teamed with Catlina Echeverry for a pair of doubles wins.

Northeast-10 Men’s Track Athlete of the Week
Doug Caves, UMass Lowell (Jr., Oxford, Mass.) - Placed second overall - tops among Division II-III sprinters - in the 400 meter dash at the Princeton Larry Ellis Invitational in 46.77 seconds, automatically qualifying for the NCAA Championship with the fourth fastest time in the country. Also ran a 48.6-second leg on UMass Lowell's 4X400 meter relay team which placed first in 3:12.59 and improved to eighth on the Division II list.

Northeast-10 Women’s Track Athlete of the Week
Shannon Gagne, New Haven (Jr., Meriden, Conn.) – Led the team with first place finishes in the 100 meter, 200 meter and 400 meter dashes at the Springfield College Invitational. Provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 200 meter with a time of 24.63 and the 400 meter with a time of 56.67 seconds.

Northeast-10 Men’s Track Freshman of the Week
Kevin Downing, New Haven (Fr., Meriden, Conn.) – Led the team with first place finishes in the 100 meter, 200 meter and 400 meter dashes at the Springfield College Invitational. Ran a time of 10.73 in the 100 meter finals. Also ran a time of 21.26 in the 200 meter finals for the win and 48.69 seconds in the 400 meter.

Northeast-10 Women’s Track Freshman of the Week
Evelyn Marrero, Bentley (Fr., Amsterdam, N.Y.) - Set a personal best in the 5,000 meters during the Fitchburg State Invitational, with her time of 18:52.48 placing her second of 20.

Northeast-10 Men’s Field Athlete of the Week
Maurice Calenda, American International (So., Bloomfield, Conn.) - Won both the long and triple jumps at the Holy Cross Invitational. In the long jump, finished with a leap of 6.92 meters and won the triple with a 13.98 meter jump.

Northeast-10 Women’s Field Athlete of the Week
Lauren Raimondi, UMass Lowell (So., East Longmeadow, Mass.) - Placed fourth overall - first among Division II-III athletes - in the high jump at the Princeton Larry Ellis Invitational, clearing 5 feet, 8.0 inches. Provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championship as the personal-best result ranks tied for third in the country.

Northeast-10 Men’s Field Freshman of the Week
Adam Habansky, Bentley (Fr., Stratford, Conn.) - Finished fourth of 30 in the javelin during the Fitchburg State Invitational, with a throw of 159 feet, 3 inches. Also helped Bentley finish second of five in the 4x100 meter relay, in 44.62 seconds.

Northeast-10 Women’s Field Freshman of the Week
Keisha Johnson, Bentley (Fr., Randolph, Mass.) - At the Fitchburg State Invitational, was second of 13 in the long jump (16’8.5”) and third of 10 in the triple jump (34’8.25”). Both were season-best performances.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Olivia Thibou, American International (Jr., Boston, Mass.) - Broke school records in both the triple jump and the long jump. Won the triple with a distance of 10.75 meters, and placed fifth in the long with a leap of 5.14 meters.

Kyle Higgins, Assumption (Fr., Braintree, Mass.) - At the Silfen Invitational at Connecticut College, finished first in the 3,000 meter-steeplechase with a career best time of 10:27.08.

Molly O’Connell, Assumption (Sr., Sandy State, Utah) - At the Silfen Invitational at Connecticut College she finished second in both the shot put and the discuss. Threw the shot 36-07.75 feet and she threw the discus 109-05 feet.

Steve Bergantino, Bentley (Jr., Guilford, Conn.) - Captured the 5,000 meters at the Fitchburg State Invitational, recording a season-best time of 15:37.11.

Dan Darcy, Bentley (Jr., Sharon, Mass.) - At the Fitchburg State Invitational, set a personal best of 3:56.48 en route to finishing first amongst a 35-man field in the 1500 meters. Also placed second of 37 in the 800 with a time of 1:57.00.

Rebecca Ciccarelli, Bentley (Sr., Natick, Mass.) - At the Fitchburg State Invitational, finished first amongst 19 runners in the 400 meters, with a season-best time of 1:00.02. Also was part of Bentley’s 4x100 relay team which was second of five teams in 52.36 seconds.

Jeremy Langton, Bentley (Sr., Mansfield, Mass.) - Finished first of 37 in the 800 meters at the Fitchburg State Invitational, posting a season-best time of 1:56.82.

Mike Vatti, Bentley (Fr., Easton, Mass.) - Set a personal best of 22.39 seconds in the 200 meters, good for a first place finish, amongst 44 competitors, at the Fitchburg State Invitational. Also was second of 32 in the 400, his time of 49.00 a season-best.

Mark Zurlo, Bentley (Sr., North Haven, Conn.) - Finished third of 11 in the triple jump at the Fitchburg State Invitational, with a distance of 41 feet, six inches.

Sarah Brassard, UMass Lowell (Sr., Oxford, Mass.) - Placed 12th overall - tops among Division II-III runners - in the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the Princeton Larry Ellis Invitational. Broke her own school record for the third time this season (by more than 30 seconds) with a time of 10:50.79 and provisionally qualified for the NCAAs with the seventh-fastest result this season.

Andrew Grange, UMass Lowell (Sr., Methuen, Mass.) - Placed fourth overall and second among Division II-III sprinters in the 400 meter dash at the Princeton Larry Ellis Invitational with a time of 46.91 seconds. Improved to fifth on the NCAA Division II list. Also ran a 47.0-second leg on UMass Lowell's 4X400 meter relay team which placed first in 3:12.54.

Tim Guerin, UMass Lowell (Jr., Auburn, Mass.) - Placed third overall and tops among Division II-III runners in the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the Princeton Larry Ellis Invitational. Broke his own school record and automatically qualified for the NCAA Championship with a time of 9:01.93, besting his previous mark of 9:14.28 by more than 12 seconds.

William Nguidjoi, UMass Lowell (Jr., Lawrence, Mass.) - Top Division II-III finisher in two events at the Princeton Larry Ellis Invitational. Placed sixth overall in the triple jump with a distance of 42' 10.25'' and took 14th in the long jump with a leap of 20' 3.75''.

Ryan Saunders, Saint Rose (Fr., Cambridge, N.Y.) - Registered four top-five finishes, including a first place showing in the 400-meter hurdles to lead the team to a fourth place finish at the Springfield Invitational. Crossed the line in 55.72 to capture the 400m hurdles and also took fourth in the high jump after clearing 1.76-meters, was fourth in the 100m in 11.12 and anchored the 4x400 relay squad that wound up fourth with a time of 3:31.43.

John Walsh, Southern Connecticut (Jr., Brookfield, Conn.) - Won the javelin throw at the Metropolitan Championships with a toss of 49.56 meters as the Owls took third in the meet.

Colleen Carmen, Stonehill (So., Drexel Hill, Pa.) - Finished second in the high jump at Holy Cross, jumping 4'11.75.

Erica Insel, Stonehill (Fr., Clinton, N.J.) - Finished third in the javelin at Holy Cross and broke an eight year old school record with her toss of 121 feet three inches.

Torrey Price, Stonehill (Sr., Sleepy Hollow, N.Y.) - Won the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.16 seconds at Holy Cross. Also took fifth in the 200 with a time of 22.63.
