Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Karl Derbacher, Southern Connecticut (Sr., OF, Northford, Conn.) - Went 11-for-27 (.407) with three doubles, one triple, eight runs scored and eight RBI during a 6-0 week. Had three games with at least two RBI. Went 4-for-5 with two runs scored, two RBI and one triple at Saint Anselm and went 2-for-5 with a double and three RBI against Stonehill.

Northeast-10 Pitcher of the Week
Maxx Catapano, Southern Connecticut (So., SP, Milford, Conn.) - Threw a no hitter in the win at Stonehill allowing just two walks and striking out a season-high 13 batters in his only appearance of the week.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Ryan Geffert, Southern Connecticut (Fr., 1B, Plymouth, Pa.) - Went 11-for-24 (.458) with three doubles, two home runs, seven runs scored and 11 RBI during a 6-0 week and had at least one hit in each game. Had a grand slam against Saint Anselm and went 3-for-5 with two doubles and two RBI at Stonehill.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Anthony Arrichiello, American International (So., C, Yonkers, N.Y.) - Batted .526 (10-19) in five game stretch last week. Went 3-for-5 with four RBI in win over Saint Anselm. Totaled six runs driven in and two doubles.

Zach Jacques, Assumption (So., SP, Jefferson, Mass.) - In two appearances last week, went 2-0 with an ERA of 1.93. Had eight strikeouts and allowed just three runs in 14 total innings.

Rob Finneran, Bentley (So., SP, Garden City,N.Y.) - Scattered nine hits and notched his sixth victory of the season in a complete game effort at New Haven. Allowed only one run and struck out seven, including two that came with bases loaded and two out.

Charlie Pagliarulo, Bentley (Jr., 2B, Medford, Mass.) - Hit .450 (9-20) and slugged .700 during a 2-3 week. Scored five runs, drove in seven, had two doubles and a homer, and reached base 52 percent of the time. Had four multi-hit games, including a three-hit game against New Haven, and had a three-run double to spark the team to a 9-5 win over Assumption.

Tom Cote, Franklin Pierce (Sr., SP, Swanzey, N.H.) - In his only appearance last week, threw eight scoreless innings, allowed four hits, did not issue a walk and struck out 10 to tally the win against Pace. Allowed four hits in 29 at-bats against to hold the opposition to a .138 average.

Mike Dowd, Franklin Pierce (Fr., C, East Bridgewater, Mass.) - Hit .450 (9-for-20) with three doubles and a home run in a 5-1 week. Drove in eight runs, scored seven times, drew a pair of walks and was hit by three pitches. Over the six games, posted a .750 slugging percentage and a .560 on-base percentage.

Ted Haley, UMass Lowell (So., P, Cranston, R.I.) - Pitched eight shutout innings in a win versus Assumption. Struck out three and allowed just three hits and did not walk a batter.

Jared Notargiacomo, UMass Lowell (Jr., C, Newburyport, Mass.) - Hit a team-best .500 (9-for-18) in five games this past week. Had a double, a home run, two RBI and scored four runs. Had a hit in each game and went 4-for-4 with a run scored in a 5-2 win vs. Pace.

PJ Farnham, Merrimack (Fr., OF, Andover, Mass.) - Hit .448 on 13 hits in 28 at-bats to go with eight RBI and four doubles this past week. Had at least two hits in all six games.

Alex Aguilar, Saint Anselm (Sr., DH, Newbury, Mass.) - Batted .471 by going 8-for-17 this past week and had a .572 on base percentage. Also had two home runs, seven RBI, four runs scored and four walks. In the 8-7 walk-off win over Merrimack, went 4-for-5 with two home runs, six RBI and the walk-off RBI single.

Michael Carbone, Saint Rose (Fr., 2B, Montreal, Quebec) - Batted .524 with eight runs, six RBI and four doubles during a 4-1 week. Was 11-for-21 at the plate, stole two bags and slugged .714 as well. Went 6-for-9 with five runs, three RBI and three doubles in the doubleheader sweep at Merrimack. Then went 4-for-7 with two runs, two RBI, two walks and two stolen bases in the doubleheader, which Saint Rose split versus Merrimack.

Paul Partridge, Saint Rose (Sr., 1B, Uniontown, Pa.) - Batted .545 with six RBI, three runs and a pair of homers throughout a 4-1 week. Slugged 1.182 and also recorded a .615 on-base percentage. Wound up 2-for-3 at the plate with a double, home run, two runs and two RBI in a 16-6 win at Merrimack. Drove in four runs, belted his team-leading seventh home run of the year and brought in the game-winning run while going 3-for-3 in a 13-11 win versus Merrimack.

Ed Bethke, Southern Connecticut (Jr., SP, Branford, Conn.) - Threw two complete games this past week, allowing just two earned runs. Pitched nine scoreless innings against Stonehill on eight hits. Ended the week with a 2-0 record, 19 hits, two earned runs, two walks and six strikeouts.

Weekly Notes:

MERRIMACK: Jeff Bercume (Leicester, Mass.) set the school record for career hits Sunday with his 222nd hit, a fourth-inning triple against Saint Rose. Bercume now has 224 career-hits.

Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Garrett Beyor, American International (So., Monson, Mass.) - Shot an even-par 144 after carding a two-over 74 on day-one and a two-under 70 on day-two to win the Yellow Jacket Invitational. As a team, American International place second overall.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Brian Fleckles, Franklin Pierce (Fr., Sandwich, Mass.) - Posted a 78.67 stroke average over three rounds of competition in two events last week. Earned medalist honors at the Blazers Invitational as he led the Ravens to the team title with a three-over-par round of 74 - matching his season low round. Placed 16th overall with a two-day score of 162 at the American International Invitational. Moved up eight spots in the individual standings with a day two score of 78.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Kent Graham, American International (So., Kamuela, Hawaii) - Tied for seventh at 13-over par 157 (83-74) at the Yellow Jacket Invitational.

Anderew Mesheau, American International (Jr., Monson, Mass.) - Tied for 14th at the Yellow Jacket Invitational with a 17-over par 161 (84-77).

Jamie Farrea, Assumption (Sr., Portsmouth, R.I.) - At the American Invitational came in with a top ten finish shooting a 158 for two rounds. Shot an 80 and a 78 during the two day event. His tie for ninth place helped lead Assumption to a fifth place tie overall.

Rob Younker, Assumption (Sr., Waltham, Mass.) - At the American International Invitational, finished tied for third with a two round total of 152. Finished with a 76 in both rounds and helped lead Assumption to a fifth place tie.

Alex Macielak, Bentley (So., Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) - Shot of a pair of 79s during the week, tying for 17th place in the Worcester State Invitational and fifth in the Rhode Island College Invitational.

William Powers, Franklin Pierce (Fr., Southbury, Conn.) - Posted an 80.00 stroke average over two rounds of competition at two events last week. Helped the Ravens to the team title at the Blazers Invitational as he carded a 79 to place 5th overall. Opened the week with an 81 at the Worcester State Invitational.

Kyle Munoz, Pace (Sr., Mt. Vernon, N.Y.) - Finished in a three-way tie for 10th place with a two-round total of 159 (80-79) at the American International Invitational.

John Devito, Southern New Hampshire (Fr., Nashua, N.H.) - Finished seventh at the AIC Invitational with a two-day total of 157.

D.J. Lantz, Southern New Hampshire (So., New London, N.H.) - Finished sixth with a two-day score of 156 at the AIC Invitational, leading the Penmen to a third-place finish.

Weekly Notes:

FRANKLIN PIERCE: Franklin Pierce captured its first team title of the year at Friday's Blazers Invitational, hosted by Elms College, with a 320 team score. The Ravens last title came nearly a year ago with they won their own Spring Inviational - a title they will defend this week. Freshman Brian Fleckles earned medalist honors at Friday's event with a season-low matching round of 74 (+3) to become the Ravens first medalist since Paul Izzi won the Franklin Pierce Fall Invitational on October 14, 2002.

SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE: SNHU will be making its third NCAA Championship appearance when it competes at the Atlantic/East Super Regional May 4-6 at the Cobb Course of The Resort at Glade Springs in Daniels, WV. The Penmen also competed in the NCAA Championship in 2003 and 2006.

Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Greg Rogowski, Merrimack (Sr., A, Cohoes, N.Y.) - Tallied nine points (five goals, four assists) in three wins this past week, including scoring the game-winning goal in a 6-5, triple-overtime win over Bentley.

Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Cory Spinale, Merrimack (Jr., G, Wakefield, Mass. ) - Posted three wins, a 3.59 goals-against, and a .791 save percentage this past week, including stopping 18 shots in a 6-5 triple-overtime win over Bentley.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Nicholas Pellerito, Pace (Fr., A, Glen Cove, N.Y.) - Totaled eight points in a 1-1 week. Tallied four goals and one assist, including the game-winning 13th goal in a win over American International. Recorded two goals and one assist, including a man-up goal against Bentley.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Kevin Klaskin, Assumption (Jr., A, Norfolk, Mass.) - In a 1-1 week, led the team in scoring with six points on three goals and three assists.

Wyatt Couture, Bentley (Jr., M, South Hadley, Mass.) - Had three goals and one assist last week. His game-tying goal in the fourth quarter against Merrimack helped send the game in overtime. Added two goals and one assist against Pace.

Kris Dambach, Bentley (Sr., G, Chester, N.J.) - Made 34 saves over two games last week, and posted a .739 save percentage and a goals against average of just 5.55. Made 16 saves in a 3-OT game against Merrimack, then stopped 18 shots in a win over Pace.

Addi Van Hatcher, Bentley (Jr., A, Tigard, Ore.) - Led the way with six points on three goals and three assists over two games last week. Had a game-high five points (two goals, three assists) in the win over Pace.

Jack Harmatuk, Le Moyne (So., A, Syracuse, N.Y.) - Scored three goals, dished out an assist and grabbed three ground balls an 11-5 victory at Southern New Hampshire. Tallied two goals and an assist in the decisive 5-0 run in the third quarter to pull away from a 4-3 halftime lead.

Doug McIver, Le Moyne (Sr., G, Altamont, N.Y.) - Registered nine saves, while allowing just three goals, in 54:04 of action in goal in the 11-5 win at Southern New Hampshire.

Chris Murphy, Saint Anselm (Sr., A, Winchester, Mass.) - Finished with five goals and two assists. Had four goals and two assists in rout of American International, followed by one goal at Saint Michael's.

Matt Surette, Saint Anselm (Sr., M, Wakefield, Mass.) - Had five goals and one assist in two games. Had a hat trick in rout of American International, followed by two goals and one assist at Saint Michael's.

Bryan Zaremba , Saint Michael's (Sr., A, Manhasset, N.Y.) - In a 2-0 week, totaled four goals and two assists. In a 8-6 win over Assumption, led the way scoring four goals and assisting on another.

Mike Ball, Southern New Hampshire (Sr., A, Salem, N.H.) - Recorded six goals and four assists in a win over Franklin Pierce.

Dustin Latham, Southern New Hampshire (Sr., A, Penacook, N.H.) - Recorded four goals and three assists in a 1-1 week. Finished with three goals and a pair of assists in a win over Franklin Pierce.

Weekly Notes:


FRANKLIN PIERCE: Seniors Jason Flanigan (Shrewsbury, Mass.) and Ryan Boller (New Canaan, Conn.) concluded their career tied for second in program history with 52 career games played. Boller finishes up ranked tied for third all-time with 78 career points, while his 57 career goals are good for fifth all-time. Flanigan is ranked ninth all-time with 61 career points, while his 53 career goals rank sixth. He also finished the season with a team-best seven man-up goals, good for third among NE-10 leaders to this point.

LE MOYNE:
Le Moyne went undefeated in Northeast-10 Conference action for the ninth time in the last ten seasons to claim the regular season conference championship for the ninth time in ten years.

MERRIMACK:
With a second-quarter assist against Southern New Hampshire on Monday, senior Greg Rogowski (Cohoes, NY) moved into fourth-place in the NCAA Division II record book with his 302nd career point. The three-time All-American concluded the regular season with 51 goals this season, 210 career goals and 309 career points.

SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE:
Head coach Paul Calkins won his 100th career game Wednesday night against Franklin Pierce.

Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Mia Basile, Merrimack (Jr., A, Longmeadow, Mass.) - Netted 14 goals and 20 points in three games this past week, including a game-winner as the Warriors recorded wins over American International (23-2), Franklin Pierce (21-10) and Southern Connecticut (24-4). Tallied nine points in the win over the Southern Connecticut.

Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Jamie-Lee Whiteway, Merrimack (Jr., G, Billerica, Mass.) - Went 3-0 last week with a 5.33 goals-against average and a .568 save percentage.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Jillian Bolduc, Franklin Pierce (Fr., G, Atkinson, N.H.) - Averaged 17 saves and posted a .515 save percentage with a team-best 11 ground balls to go with for caused turnovers over two games last week. Made 12 saves to go with six ground balls and two caused turnovers in the 17-11 win at American International. Stopped a season-high 22 shots, while adding five ground balls and two caused turnovers at Merrimack. Save total is the eighth-highest single-game total in program history.


Weekly Honor Roll:

Jaclyn Griffin, Bentley (Jr., M, Barrington, Ill.) - Had 11 points over two games last week on six goals and five assists. Against Saint Anselm, had five goals, three assists and 11 draw controls.

Alyssa Ritchie, Bentley (Sr., M, North Andover, Mass.) – Led the team in scoring last week with 10 goals and two assists. Had a hat trick against Stonehill then scored a game-high seven goals in a win over Saint Anselm. Also added four ground balls and four caused turnovers.

Jordan Baillargeon, Franklin Pierce (So., M, Westfield, Mass.) - Totaled nine goals and three assists for 12 points over two games last week. Netted five goals, including the game winning marker, and added an assist for six points in the 17-11 victory at American International. Closed the regular season out with four goals and two assists at Merrimack.

Lauren Stille, Franklin Pierce (So., A, North Quincy, Mass.) - Netted 12 goals over two games for the Ravens. Scored a season-high eight goals in Franklin Pierce's 17-11 victory at American International on Tuesday. Collected four goals at Merrimack to round out the regular season on Thursday.

Ashley Ferrandiz, New Haven (So., M, West Sayville, N.Y.) – Led the team in a 2-0 week as they clinched their first-ever Northeast-10 regular season title. Tallied nine points in two starts and scored the game-winner goal in the 21-5 win over Southern Connecticut. Scored a week-high three goals and handed out three assists on versus the Owls as well.

Maureen Spellman, New Haven (Fr., G, Trumbull, Conn.) - Helped guide the Chargers to the program's first-ever Northeast-10 regular season title. Tallied two wins between the pipes in two starts. Stopped 11 shots versus Assumption and allowed only six goals. Enjoying a .472 save percentage this season and has 14 wins.

Michaela Rocha, Saint Anselm (Sr., A, Rye, N.H.) - Totaled 10 goals and five assists this past week. Scored her 57th goal of the season in the loss to No. 2 C.W.Post breaking the single season scoring record.

Kim Berlo, Saint Michael's (Sr., A, Scituate, Mass.) - In a 1-1 week, scored six goals and added two assists. In a 19-10 win over American International, scored five goals while adding an assist in the win.

Liza Gross, Stonehill (Jr., M, Loudonville, N.Y.) - Had ten goals four assists, six ground balls and eight draw controls in three games last week. Scored four times and dished out two assists in the 18-16 loss to C.W. Post.

Michelle Kelly, Stonehill (Sr., M, Mendham, N.J.) - Had 12 goals, seven assists, ten ground balls and nine draw controls in three games this past week. Scored six goals and dished our four assists for ten points in a 23-8 win over Bentley.

Mary Maloney, Stonehill (Sr., A, Great River, N.Y.) - Scored 12 goals and dished out three assists with four draw controls in three games last week. Had seven goals and two assists in a 23-8 win over Bentley.

Weekly Notes:

FRANKLIN PIERCE: Franklin Pierce returns to the postseason for the first time since 2003 when it makes its second-ever trip to the Northeast-10 Championship as the event's sixth seed on Tuesday. The Ravens have set a program record with seven wins and matched the program mark with four NE-10 victories. Sophomore Jordan Baillargeon has broken the program's single-season assist mark with 16 after collecting two in the Ravens regular season finale at Merrimack on Thursday. Baillargeon became the fifth player in program history (and third this season) to reach the 100 career point mark at American International on Tuesday. She has now totaled 109 over her two-year career. Sophomore Ashley Moirano (South Burlington, Vt.) matched a program record with her three assists at Merrimack and is just one assist behind Baillargeon with 15 this spring. The Ravens 189 goals has broken the previous record of 180 set in 2008.

NEW HAVEN: The Chargers clinched the program's first ever Northeast-10 Conference regular season title on Saturday when UNH defeated Assumption College. The Chargers finished the regular season with a 9-1 conference record and a 14-3 overall record.

SAINT ANSELM: Michaela Rocha netted her 57th goal of the season in the loss to No. 2 ranked C.W. Post on Sunday. Rocha now has the Saint Anselm single season goals (57), assists (34) and points (91) record. Her 145 career goals, 61 career assists and 206 career points are second all-time in school history.

SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE: Sophomore Sherry Darrell became the 7th player in SNHU program history to record 100 career points with her six points Tuesday at Saint Michael's.

STONEHILL: With her four goals on Saturday, senior Michelle Kelly passed current head coach Katie Lambert-Conover for first place on Stonehill's all-time scoring list with 327 points.

Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Stacey Lajoie, UMass Lowell (Sr., OF, Gardner, Mass.) - Batted .500 (10 for 20) with 12 runs, six RBI, four walks and seven stolen bases (in seven attempts) in a 4-2 week. Highlights include a 3-for-3, two-RBI effort with three runs in a 6-2 win over Stonehill. Also went 4-6 with five runs and three RBI in a 9-1/8-3 sweep over Saint Michael's.

Northeast-10 Pitcher of the Week
Nicole Welch, Saint Rose (Sr., SP, Albany, N.Y.) - Went 4-1 with a 1.35 ERA and held opponents to a .170 batting average last week. Fanned 18 batters and walked four in 26.0 innings of work. Went the distance in all three of her starts as well. Allowed two runs on three hits and struck out four in a 3-2 win at Assumption. Then held the Greyhounds to a pair of singles while fanning five in a 4-0 triumph Saturday morning. Tossed three innings of one-hit ball in relief to pick up the win in a 4-3 victory at Saint Anselm.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Kristen Dolan, American International (Fr., SP, Norwood, Mass.) - Was 2-1 with a 0.64 ERA and 25 strikeouts in three games last week. Scattered 11 hits over nine innings of relief in a 7-6 extra-inning win over Pace and fanned five in a complete-game shutout at UMass Lowell. Also registered 11 strikeouts in six innings against Stonehill.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Alex Hitchcock, Bentley (Sr., SS, Abington, Mass.) – Batted at a .400 clip (6-15) during a 2-4 week. Had a double, home run, sacrifice fly, two runs scored and three RBI. Tied the Bentley career record for games played and started (167 for both).

Jennifer Farrelly, Le Moyne (Sr., SP, Latham, N.Y.) - Hit .467 (7-for-15) with a home run, eight runs batted in, seven runs scored and drew six walks, while picking up a pair of victories in the pitcher's circle in a 5-1 week. Tossed 4.2 innings with eight strikeouts, while driving in a run and scoring once in an 11-2 win over Bentley. Registered two hits, including a walk-off two-run homer, and scored twice in an 8-0 win over Bentley in game two. Posted two hits, four runs batted in and one run scored, while earning a complete-game victory in a 10-3 victory at Southern New Hampshire.

Kelly Schweikert , Le Moyne (Jr., 2B, Rochester, N.Y.) - Hit .500 (10-for-20) with five stolen bases, four runs batted in and five runs scored in 5-1 week. Registered three hits and a stolen base in a 6-3 win at Saint Anselm. Posted two hits, two stolen bases and two runs scored in a 10-3 victory at Southern New Hampshire. Went 2-for-5 with two doubles, three runs batted in and two runs scored in a doubleheader sweep of Bentley.

Kristen LeMay, Merrimack (So., SS, North Andover, Mass.) - Batted .526 with 10 hits and four RBI in 19 at-bats. Had a homerun against Pace.

Breanne Gleason, New Haven (Jr., SP, Bristol, Conn.) - Pitched 31.0 innings and allowed just seven runs. Allowed no earned runs in 4-of-5 appearances and threw 36 strikeouts. Recorded a 2-1 record and one save on a 4-2 team week. Threw a week-high nine strikeouts against Caldwell College. Became the Chargers all-time appearance leader on Friday and tied the career homerun record on Saturday.

Meghan Walter, New Haven (Jr., 1B, Bay Shore, N.Y.) – Led the team with a .375 batting average in a 4-2 week. Totaled seven RBI and six hits and scored five runs. Tallied a week-high three RBI in the 13-5 victory over Franklin Pierce and went a perfect 2-for-2 at the plate.

Lauren Bell, Pace (Fr., SS, New Windsor, N.Y.) - Batted .400 (10-for-25) and slugged .800 with two homeruns, seven RBI, four doubles and four runs scored in eight games. In a doubleheader split with Saint Anselm, had an RBI double and a solo homerun. In a twin bill split with Merrimack, blasted a three-run homerun in the opening game victory. Against Bentley, went 4-for-6 with two doubles and two RBI.

Brittney Birch, Saint Anselm (Sr., C, Bradford, Mass.) - Hit .407 in eight games last week, including four multiple-hit games and one 4-for-4 performance in game one at Saint Michael's. Had 11 hits, including three doubles. Also added five runs batted in, five runs scored and one stolen. Against No. 23 Le Moyne, threw out a pair of base runners and in the process set the Saint Anselm career record for base runners thrown out stealing at 35 for her career.

Amanda Morano, Saint Rose (Jr., C, Highland, N.Y.) - Batted .400 with seven runs, four RBI and a pair of homers during a 4-2 week. Also slugged .800 while going 6-for-15 at the plate. In a 3-2 win at Assumption, finished 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI on the strength of two solo home runs in the game. Was 1-for-2, walked twice and stole a bag in a 4-0 win at Assumption. Then went 3-for-4 and scored three times in a 4-3 triumph at Saint Anselm.

Ashley Harkins, Saint Michael's (Sr., OF, Colchester, Vt.) - In a 2-4 week, went 12-for-19 (.632) with two RBI and seven runs scored. Collected 15 total bases, stole four bases, and posted a .789 slugging percentage. In her final game, set the single-season and career hits record, while also setting the single-season runs scored and doubles record.

Megan Caporossi, Southern Connecticut (Jr., SS, Northford, Conn.) - Registered eight hits in 21 attempts (.381), drove in eight runs and scored four in a 5-1 week. Recorded a three-run homerun at Franklin Pierce in an 8-0 win and a two-run triple against Bentley. Finished the week with a .619 slugging percentage and a .364 on-base-percentage.

Brittany Gandley, Southern Connecticut (Sr., 1B, Holbrook, N.Y.) – In a 5-1 week, went 7-for-17 (.412) at the plate with seven RBI and two runs scored. Had a three-run blast in the 9-1 win over Bentley. Furthermore, closed the week with a .588 slugging percentage and a .421 on-base-percentage.

Kyla Puccini, Southern New Hampshire (Fr., SP, North Dighton, Mass.) - Went 3-1 with a 2.30 ERA in four starts last week. Fired a complete-game two-hit shutout in a win over Assumption, and allowed three runs (two earned) in 4.1 innings of work in a win over No. 23 Le Moyne.

Courtney Young, Stonehill (Sr., C, Danvers, Mass.) - In eight games last week had seven hits, four for home runs to go with eight RBI and six runs scored.

AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL: AIC secured its first Northeast-10 Championship appearance since 2004 after sweeping a doubleheader at UMass Lowell. The Yellow Jackets' game-two victory over the River Hawks marked the 925th career victory for head coach Judy Groff. Her career record now stands at 925-584-5 (.613) in her 41 seasons at AIC.

BENTLEY: Seniors Alex Hitchcock and Ashley DeRosa (Wethersfield, Conn.) each tied the Bentley career records for games played and started on Sunday when they played in their 167th, and should break the record when the Falcons finish their season against Franklin Pierce Monday. Also on Sunday, Hitchcock and classmate Dina Ferriero (Tewksbury, Mass.) surpassed the former school record for career at bats (500).

NEW HAVEN: On Friday in the Chargers first game against Stonehill, Breanne Gleason appeared in her 112th game as a Charger and passed Jo-Lynn Cimino on the New Haven career records list. One day later, in the victory over Franklin Pierce, Gleason hit a homerun and tied Jackie Kupka for tops on the UNH record list with 17 career homeruns. The Chargers also earned their 30th win of the season on Saturday, becoming just the eighth team in program history and just the second since 1998 to record 30 or more wins in a season.

SAINT MICHAEL’S:
Senior Megan O'Connor set the single-season program record with 32 RBI and also set the program record with 31 career doubles. Senior Ashley Harkins finished the year with 55 hits and 165 for her career, which are both new program records. She also has the single-season record of 38 runs scored, while breaking the single-season doubles record with 13.

SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE:
Senior Karissa Bettencourt (Norton, Mass.) became SNHU's all-time leader in runs scored with a solo home run Sunday against Saint Rose. She has now scored 76 runs. Fourth-year head coach Deb Robitaille became SNHU's winningest coach with the Penmen win in the first game against Saint Rose Sunday. She now has 83 wins, surpassing Ray Prouty, who posted 81 wins from 1981-86.

Tim Fayed, Stonehill (So., No. 1 Singles/No. 1 Doubles, Glastonbury, Conn.) - Won the game clinching match in the 5-3 win over Merrimack the Northeast-10 Finals. Was also named to the All-Championship team.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Max Eppley, Merrimack (Fr., No. 4 Singles/No. 1 Doubles, Malaga, Spain) - Won two of his three doubles matches and won his only singles match, a 3-6, 6-2, 6-3 victory in the Northeast-10 Championship versus Stonehill.


Weekly Honor Roll:

Miles Holman, Bentley (Sr., No. 4 Singles/No. 2 Doubles, East Longmeadow, Mass.) - Helped Bentley to a quarterfinals win over Le Moyne in the Northeast-10 Championships by winning both of his matches in No. 2 doubles and No. 4 singles.

Alec Spycher, Bentley (Fr., No. 2 Singles/No. 1 Doubles, Sarasota, Fla.) - Went 2-2 in the NE-10 Championships. Won a No. 2 singles match against Le Moyne and a No. 1 doubles match against Merrimack in the semifinals. Was named to the All-Championship team.

Victor Suski, Bentley (Fr., No. 3 Singles/Doubles, West Hartford, Conn.) - Helped Bentley to a win over Le Moyne in the NE-10 quarterfinals. Won both his No. 3 doubles and No. 3 singles matches. Was also named to the All-Championship team.

Steve Viglione, Merrimack (Sr., No.6 Singles/No.3 Doubles, Shelton, Conn.) - Won two of his three doubles matches this past week and picked up his lone singles win the Northeast-10 Championship final versus Stonehill. Was also named to the All-Championship team.

David Spaggiari, Southern New Hampshire (Jr., No. 1 Singles/Doubles, Manizales, Colombia) - Posted singles and doubles victories in the NE-10 quarterfinal win over Saint Michael's. Was also named to the All-Championship team.

Luis Ramirez, Southern New Hampshire (Sr., No. 2 Singles/No. 1 Doubles, San Cristobal, Venezuela) - Posted singles and doubles victories in the NE-10 quarterfinal win over Saint Michael's. Was also named to the All-Championship team.

Will Herchel, Stonehill (Sr., No. 5 Singles, No. 2 Doubles, Hampden, Mass.) - Went 1-1 in singles play in the NE-10 Championships, but was unbeaten at No. 2 doubles with three wins, helping the Skyhawks to their first NE-10 Championship against Merrimack. Mike Mashkevich, Stonehill (Jr., No. 2 Singles/ No. 1 Doubles, Framingham, Mass.) - Won in singles and doubles play against Merrimack to help the Skyhawks clinch their first NE-10 Championship. Was also named to the All-Championship team.

MERRIMACK: Chris Stevens was named the Northeast-10 Coach of the Year for the second straight season. He has led Merrimack to a school-record 13 wins and to its first-ever Northeast-10 Championship appearance.

Northeast-10 Men’s Track Athlete and Freshman of the Week
Kevin Downing, New Haven (Fr., Meriden, Conn.) - Broke the school record and won the 100-meter dash at the Yale University Springtime Invitational with a time of 10.46 seconds, just .01 seconds away from automatically qualifying for the NCAA Championships. Also broke his previous school record in winning the 200-meter dash with a time of 20.96 seconds, automatically qualifying for the NCAA Championships.

Northeast-10 Women’s Track Athlete of the Week
Shannon Gagne, New Haven (Jr., Meriden, Conn.) - Won both the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash at the Yale University Springtime Invitational. Captured the 100 in a school record time of 11.96, becoming the first female in school history to break the 12.00 mark in the event. Her time in the 100 is currently the 10th fastest in Division II. Also finished first in the 200 with a season-best time of 24.42.

Northeast-10 Women’s Track Freshman of the Week
Evelyn Marrero, Bentley (Fr., Amsterdam, N.Y.) - Was fifth of 15 in the 3,000 meters at the Brown Invitational, posting a time of 10:48.98.

Northeast-10 Men’s Field Athlete of the Week
Diwani Augustine, Southern Connecticut (Jr., East Hartford, Conn.) - Won the triple jump with a leap of 14.52 meters and took fifth in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 55.16 seconds at the Yale Springtime Invitational.

Northeast-10 Women’s Field Athlete of the Week
Jacqui Barrett, UMass Lowell (Jr., Woburn, Mass.) - Placed third overall and tops among Division II and III throwers in the shot put at the Brown Spring Invitational. Threw a season-best distance of 46' 6.0'' to improve her place on the Division II list to sixth. Also placed eighth overall (third) in the College Women's Eastern Shot Put at thePenn Relays with a toss of 43' 7.25''.

Northeast-10 Men’s Field Freshman of the Week
Russell Fallo, Southern Connecticut (Fr., Redding, Conn.) - Finished fifth in the long jump with a leap of 6.21 meters at the Yale Springtime Invitational.

Northeast-10 Women’s Field Freshman of the Week
Samantha Spindel, Southern Connecticut (Fr., Brewster, N.Y.) - Placed second in the discus throw with a toss of 38.10 meters and fifth in the hammer throw with a throw of 43.62 meters at the Yale Springtime Invitational.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Maurice Calenda, American International (So., Bloomfield, Conn.) - Placed second in the long jump and fourth in the triple jump at the UMass Spring Meet. In the long jump, he leaped 6.84 meters and recorded a distance of 13.58 in the triple. Ran the fourth leg of the 4x100 relay team that set a new school record in 42.63 seconds.

Dominic Smith, American International (Fr., Bloomfield, Conn.) - Won the 400-meter dash at the UMass Spring Meet with a school-record time of 48.34 seconds.

Olivia Thibou, American International (Jr., Boston, Mass.) - Broke the school record in the triple jump by placing fifth with a distance of 11.29 meters. Also competed in the long jump and finished ninth with a leap of 5.01 meters.

Dan Darcy, Bentley (Jr., Sharon, Mass.) - Finished sixth of 43 in the 800 meters at the Brown Invitational, his time of 1:56.64 the best by a non-Division I competitor.

Dave Kusmin, Bentley (So., Westwood, Mass.) - Set personal bests in both the long jump (21’4”) and the triple jump (42’10.75’) during the Brown Invitational, placing seventh in each event.

Mike Vatti, Bentley (Fr., Easton, Pa.) - During the Brown Invitational, placed fourth in both the 200 meters (35 competitors) and the 400 meters (27-man field). Time of 22.27 in the 200 was a new personal best, and posted a 49.10 in the 400.

Haley Catarius, UMass Lowell (Jr., Marshfield, Mass.) - Won the 800 meters at the Brown Springtime Invitational and improved to 10th on the NCAA Division II List. Posted a time of 2:11.82.

Robert Liekweg, UMass Lowell (Jr., Salem, N.H.) - Won the 400 meter hurdles at the Brown Spring Invitational in 54.28 seconds. Also ran a 49.5-second leg on the 4X400 meter relay team which placed 29th overall and third among Division II-III foursomes at the Penn Relays in 3:14.69.

Angela Colandrea, New Haven (Sr., Jackson, N.J.) - Set the school record in the 400-meter hurdles at the Yale University Springtime Invitational with a time of 68.82, breaking the previous record (72.91) by more than four seconds.

Sasha Mathelier, Southern Connecticut (Sr., Freeport, N.Y.) - Won the pole vault at the Yale Springtime Invitational with a vault of 3.51 meters and placed 14th overall in the pole vault at the Penn Relays with a leap of 3.50 meters.

Danielle Moore, Southern Connecticut (Sr., Palmdale, Calif.) - Claimed second in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:15.98 at the Yale Springtime Invitational and was a member of the 4x400 meter relay team that finished in 4:00.63 at the Penn Relays.

Nana Ocran, Southern Connecticut (So., Manchester, Conn.) - Placed second overall in the 100 meter dash (10.72 seconds) and fourth in the 200 meter dash (22.06 seconds) at the Yale Springtime Invitational.

Yvonne Perkins, Southern Connecticut (Sr., Danbury, Conn.) - Finished second in the hammer throw with a toss of 48.11 meters and fourth in the shot put with a throw of 12.93 meters at the Yale Springtime Invitational.

Gary Pope, Southern Connecticut (Sr., Brooklyn, N.Y.) - Won the 400 meter dash in 48.64 seconds at the Yale Springtime Invitational and was a member of the 4x400 meter relay team that finished in 3:17.79 at the Penn Relays.

Letecia Taylor, Southern Connecticut (Jr., Plainfield, N.J.) - Placed second in the 400 meter hurdles in 1:06.11 at the Yale Springtime Invitational and was a member of the 4x400 meter relay team that finished in 4:00.63 at the Penn Relays.

Courtni Walker, Southern Connecticut (So., Uniondale, N.Y.) - Took second in the long jump with a leap of 5.43 meters at the Yale Springtime Invitational and was a member of the 4x100 meter relay team that finished the meet in 49.24 seconds at the Penn Relays.
