Northeast-10 Men’s Athlete of the Week
Chris Croff, Southern Connecticut (Jr., Lisbon, Conn.) - Placed
second overall among 150 runners at the Leeber Invitational with a
time of 25:20. Helped the team to a first place finish.
Northeast-10 Women’s Athlete of the
Week
Melissa Nash, Bentley (Sr., Marshfield, Mass.) - Was third amongst
collegians and eighth overall at the Codfish Bowl, posting a time
of 18:48 for 5,000 meters at Franklin Park.
Northeast-10 Men’s Freshman of the Week
Bryan Sutherland, Bentley (Fr., Farmingdale, N.Y.) - Was
Bentley’s number two runner at the Codfish Bowl, placing 32nd
overall with a time of 27:15 at Franklin Park.
Northeast-10 Women’s Freshman of the
Week
Evelyn Marrero, Bentley (Fr., Amsterdam, N.Y.) - Was
Bentley’s number two runners at the Codfish Bowl, finishing
22nd overall with a 5,000-meter time of 19:53.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Sarah Beaudoin, American International (So., Chicopee, Mass.) -
Placed 26th overall with a time of 22:19.01 to lead the team to a
sixth-place team finish at the Bryant Invitational.
Matt Hegarty, American International (So., Springfield, Mass.) -
Placed fifth overall with a time of 17:04.51 at the Bryant
Invitational to lead the team to a fourth-place finish.
Heather Gostyla, Assumption (Sr., Bloomfield, Conn.) - In the
Worcester City Championship finished second with a time of 20:57.
Helping Assumption to second place team finish out of five
teams.
Kyle Higgins, Assumption (Fr., Braintree, Mass.) - In the
Worcester City Championship finished fourth overall in the five
mile race with a time of 28:29.
Andy Watson, Bentley (Jr., New Milford, Conn.) - Finished seventh
overall in the Codfish Bowl, covering the nearly 8,000-meter
Franklin Park course in 26:01. Amongst collegiate runners, was
number five across the finish line.
Melissa Dymek, Franklin Pierce (Fr., Hubbardston, Mass.) -
Finished 23rd at the Rivier Invitational with a time of 25:48.
Courtney Garrity, Franklin Pierce (Sr., Manchester, N.H.) -
Finished seventh at the Rivier Invitational with a time of
23:52.
Mary Lynn Denholm, Saint Michael's (Sr., Sparks, Md.) - Finished
sixth out of 189 finishers at the Hoffman Invitational and
completed the six-kilometer course in 22:27.
Christina DaLomba, UMass Lowell (Sr., Marstons Mills, Mass.) -
Placed ninth overall and eighth among scoring runners at the
Codfish Bowl Invitational at Franklin Park. Ran the 5K course in
19:01 (fourth among collegiate runners) and led the UMass Lowell
women to fourth place.
Jack Kilcommons, UMass Lowell (Jr., South Boston, Mass.) - Placed
10th overall (ninth among scoring runners) at the Codfish Bowl
Invitational at Franklin Park. Ran the 8K course in 26:07 and led
UMass Lowell to third place.
Kristina Coriaty, Stonehill (Sr., Brockton, Mass.) - Was the
Skyhawks' top finisher at the Codfish Bowl held at Franklin Park.
Completed the 5K course in 19:30, good for 17th place.
Benjamin Rummery, Stonehill (So., Dayton, Maine) - Was Stonehill's
top finisher at the Codfish Bowl held at Franklin Park, wrapping up
the event in 26:44, good for 21st place.

Northeast-10 Players of the Week
Sammy Macy, UMass Lowell (So., F, Tewksbury, Mass.) - Scored five
goals in a 2-0 week. Scored three goals in a 6-0 win over Saint
Anselm and two goals in a 6-4 win at Franklin Pierce.
Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Courtney Osier, Stonehill (So., GK, South Dennis, Mass.) –
In a 2-0 week, posted a shutout in the win over Assumption and then
yielded just one score in the win over Saint Anselm.
Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Stephanie Sideris, Bentley (Fr., M, Watertown, Mass.) - Scored her
first career goal in a 4-1 win at Assumption.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Jacki Lapointe, American International (So., F, Danvers, Mass.) -
Factored on each of the team’s three goals in the win over
sixth-ranked Saint Michael's. Opened the scoring 1:35 into the
game, scored the team’s third and decisive goal in the 58th
minute and assisted on the second goal.
Jenna Panzone, Bentley (Jr., D, East Falmouth, Mass.) –
Scored a goal and handed out an assist, her first career points,
during the 4-1 win at Assumption. Did not figure in the scoring in
a 2-1 victory over Merrimack.
Ashley Moirano, Franklin Pierce (So., M, Vero Beach, Fla.) -
Tallied a goal and an assist in the 6-4 loss against No. 4 UMass
Lowell.
Michelle Harrington, UMass Lowell (Sr., M, Rockport, Mass.) - Had
a goal and three assists in a 2-0 week. Scored first goal of the
season and added two assists at Franklin Pierce.
Jaci Moulton, UMass Lowell (Jr., F, Baldwinville, Mass. - Had two
goals and an assist in a 2-0 week. Had a goal and an assist at
Franklin Pierce.
Jessica DeLacey, Merrimack (Sr., M, Charlton, Mass.) - Scored both
of the team’s goals this past week, getting one in each game
played.
Sara Fournier, Saint Michael's (Sr., M, Swanton, Vt.) - Scored the
game-winning goal in 1-0 win over Franklin Pierce.
Whitney Martin, Southern Connecticut (Sr., M, Harwinton, Conn.) -
Led the team with eight points (three goals, two assists) in a 2-0
week. Scored one goal and assisted on another against American
International. Netted two goals and added an assist against
Merrimack.
Sara Winterbottom, Southern Connecticut (So., F, Burlington,
Conn.) - Tallied three goals in two victories last week. Scored a
goal in the win over American International and led the team with
two markers in the victory over Merrimack.
Claire Hourihan, Stonehill (Jr., M, East Amherst, N.Y.) - Racked
up two goals and an assist in a pair of wins last week. Had both
goals and assist in the 4-1 win over Saint Anselm.

Northeast-10 Offensive Player of the Week
John Wiechman, Southern Connecticut (So., RB, Buxton, Maine) - Set
new career-highs in rushes (43), rushing yards (212) and touchdowns
(three) in the win over Merrimack. It was his second straight game
with at least 180 yards on the ground.
Northeast-10 Defensive Player of the Week
Michael Duffy, Bentley (Jr., LB, Plymouth, Mass.) - Had his second
straight 13-tackle game in the 17-14 win over Stonehill. Had 3.5
tackles for losses totaling 15 yards, including an eight-yard
sack.
Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Mike Mayo, American International (Fr., RB, Roosevelt, N.Y.) -
Carried the ball 24 times for 189 yards and two touchdowns in his
collegiate debut in the 35-7 win over Husson.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Rob Parent, American International (So., QB, West Warwick, R.I.) -
Completed 12-of-22 passes for 201 yards and had three touchdowns -
two passing and one rushing – in the 35-7 win over
Husson.
Herbert Woodard, Assumption (So., RB, Salem, N.J.) - Rushed for
105 yards on 24 carries, and scored a touchdown in the win over
Saint Anselm. Had three punt returns for a total of 24 yards and
had a long return of 18 yards.
Richard Johnson, Merrimack (Jr., RB, Brockton, Mass.) - Totaled
172 total yards against Southern Connecticut. Tallied 41 rushing,
33 receiving, and 98 on kick returns and picked up one
touchdown.
Marc Wilson, Saint Anselm (Fr., QB, Farmington, Conn.) - Rushed
for a career-high 149 yards on a single-game school record 36
rushing attempts in a loss at Assumption. In addition, completed
10-of-21 passes for 87 yards.
Chris Bergeski, Southern Connecticut (Sr., WR, Mountainside, N.J.)
- Finished with seven catches for 125 yards and two touchdowns in
the win over Merrimack.
Chris Roberts, Southern Connecticut (Sr., RB, New Britain, Conn.)
- Completed 20-of-34 passes for a career-high 262 yards and two
touchdowns in the win over Merrimack.
David Pringle, Stonehill (Jr., WR, West Haven, Conn.) - Hauled in
four catches for 115 yards and two touchdowns in the 17-14 loss at
Bentley. His first score was an over-the-shoulder 1 yard grab and
his second was 70-yard reception.
Greg Sanzari, Stonehill (Sr., LB , Centerport, N.Y.) - Racked up a
career-high 15 tackles (2.5 for loss) and a sack, giving him two
games this season with 10+ tackles in the 17-14 loss at
Bentley.
Weekly Notes:
AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL: The 35-7 win over Husson
was the team’s 10th in a row, a streak that began with a
44-21 win over Merrimack on October 6, 2007. This current winning
streak is tied for the second-longest winning streak in program
history. The Yellow Jackets also won 10 consecutive games spanning
the 1979-80 seasons and won a school-record 11 straight contests
spanning the 1974-75 campaigns. The win was also the Yellow Jackets
12th consecutive home victory, which dates back to November 5, 2005
when AIC recorded a 51-28 win over Saint Anselm, and marks the
second-longest home winning streak in program history. The Yellow
Jackets won a school-record 13 consecutive home games spanning the
1999-2002 seasons.
ASSUMPTION: Herbert Woodard became only the third
sophomore in Assumption history to score his 100th point and eighth
overall to reach the plateau. With his touchdown versus Saint
Anselm he scored his 102nd point. Jake Longnecker became only the
eighth player in Assumption history to reach 1,000 yards receiving
in a career. With his 11 yard reception versus Saint Anselm on
Saturday, he now has 1,006 yards receiving.
BENTLEY: John White (Kingston, Mass.) became the
third QB in Bentley history to compete at least 500 passes.
He’s currently 12 attempts shy of 1,000 and 117 yards away
from 6,000. With his next reception, John Studley (Needham, Mass.)
will become the sixth Falcon to reach the century mark in that
category.
SAINT ANSELM: Freshman quarterback Marc Wilson
surpassed the 100-yard mark for the third straight game, making him
the first Saint Anselm player to do so in three straight since
2003. He is also the only Saint Anselm QB to ever rush for 100
yards in a game.

Northeast-10 Player and Freshman of the Week
Kevin Jackson, Le Moyne (Fr., Chittenango, N.Y.) – Won the
individual title at the Northeast-10 Championships and helped lead
the Dolphins to their first-ever team title. Finished with a low
score of 144 (69-75) to earn Player and Freshman of the Year
accolades.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Garrett Beyor, American International (So., Monson, Mass.) –
Shot a first round 70 at the Northeast-10 Championships and
followed that with a second round score of 75 to finish second with
a total score of 145.
Robert Younker, Assumption (Jr., Waltham, Mass.) – Finished
tied for eighth place at the Northeast-10 Championships after
shooting a two-day score 151 (73-78).
Sean Pettengill, Bentley (Sr., South Hadley, Mass.) –
Finished in a tie for eighth place after shooting a two-day score
of 151 (74-77) at the Northeast-10 Championships.
Tim Martins, Le Moyne (Jr., Cortland, N.Y.) – Finished tied
for fifth place at the Northeast-10 Championships with a two-day
score of 149 (71-78).
Brendan Livingston, UMass Lowell (Jr., Westford, Mass.) – At
the Northeast-10 Championships, finished third overall with a
two-day score of 146 (67-79). Finished day-one with an overall low
score 67.
Jimmy Henebry, Saint Anselm (Jr., Hampton Falls, N.H.) –
Finished tied for 11th place at the Northeast-10 championships
after shooting an opening round 73 and concluded with a second
round score of 79.
Chris Tarallo, Saint Anselm (Sr., Easton, Mass.) - Fired an
opening round 70 in the NE-10 Championships at The Orchard Golf
Course. Finished tied for fifth with a two-day score of 149.
Joe Young, Saint Anselm (Fr., Westwood, Mass.) – Shot an
opening round 80 in the NE-10 Championships at the Orchard Golf
Course. Finished tied for eighth with a two-day score of 151.
Will Crall, Saint Michael’s (Sr., Pittsfield, Mass.) - Tied
for fifth place at the NE-10 Championships, held at the Orchards
Golf Course. Finished the two-day event with a score of 149
(74-75).
Matt Horton, Saint Rose (Fr., Troy, N.Y.) - Finished fourth
overall among 59 entries at the Northeast-10 Championships. Fired a
two-over 73 in final round action, which followed a three-over 74
for a tournament total of 147.
John DeVito, Southern New Hampshire (Fr., Nashua, N.H.) - Finished
in a tie for 11th at the Northeast-10 golf championship to earn
Second-Team All-Conference honors. Shot a 73 in round one and
finished with a two-day total of 152.

NORTHEAST-10: Le Moyne won its first ever
Northeast-10 Men’s Golf Championship in school history with a
two-day score of 599. Freshman Kevin Jackson is the sixth Le Moyne
golfer in school history to win medalist honors and the first
freshman since Neil Reidy (1998) to win the individual title.

- Totaled seven points on three goals and an assist in a 2-0 week.
Collected two goals and an assist in the 4-0 victory at Saint
Michael's and scored the lone goal in the 1-0 decision over
Stonehill.
Northeast-10 Goalkeeper and Co-Freshman of the
Week
Vinny Papageorgiou, Franklin Pierce (Fr., GK, Wilmington, Mass.) -
Averaged 2.5 saves per match while not conceding a goal in
180-minutes in a 2-0 week. Made four saves (three second half) to
preserve a 1-0 victory over Stonehill. Registered a stop in the 4-0
win at Saint Michael's. Has not allowed a goal over his last
351-minutes in goal.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Andrew Kroh, Assumption (Fr., F, Mount Laurel, N.J.) –
Scored two goals in the team’s lone game of the week, a 3-3
draw with Saint Rose.
Bryce Martin, Le Moyne (Fr., M, Cazenovia, N.Y.) - Scored two
goals in a 2-0 week. Tallied first career goal in a 2-0 victory
over Southern Connecticut. Added an insurance goal early in the
second half of a 3-1 win at Saint Michael's.
Steve White, Le Moyne (Jr., GK, Cortland, N.Y.) - Posted a 0.50
goals against average in going 2-0 this past week. Posted second
consecutive shutout, without having to record a save, and
registered an assist in the 2-0 victory over Southern Connecticut.
Had his scoreless minutes streak snapped at 297:32 after allowing a
goal on a penalty kick in the 3-1 win at Saint Michael's.
Stephen Potcner, UMass Lowell (So., F, Wilmington, Mass.) - Scored
a goal each in a 1-1 draw at New York Institute of Technology and

Recorded seven saves in the 4-0 win versus Saint Rose.

comeback win over UMass Lowell.

the team’s lone game of the week, scored two goals, including

sixth-ranked Saint Michael's marked the program's first-ever
victory over a nationally ranked opponent.
FRANKLIN PIERCE: Franklin Pierce extended its unbeaten
streak in regular season NE-10 matches to 20 (17-0-3), dating back
to October 2006, with its two wins last week. The Ravens are also
unbeaten over their last 30 (27-0-3) NE-10 regular season matches
at Sodexo Field dating back to October 2003. Freshman goalkeeper
Vinny Papageorgiou (Wilmington, Mass.) has posted three-straight
shutouts and is unscored upon over his last 351:43 dating back to a
first half goal from The College of Saint Rose on September 16.

Mass.) - Registered a hat trick with three goals in a win over
Stonehill. Added an assist in a 2-0 win over American
International.
Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Stef Young, Southern New Hampshire (Sr., GK, Natick, Mass.) -
Recorded her third shutout of the season with five saves at
American International. Recorded a 0.50 goals-against average and
.900 save percentage this past week.
Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Jenna Mallico, Southern Connecticut (Fr., M, Milford, Conn.)
– In a 2-0 week, scored the game-winning goal against Le
Moyne in overtime for a 2-1 victory. Tallied a goal and an assist
in the 3-0 win at Bentley.

Kelly DeWalt, Assumption (Jr., M, Londonderry, N.H.) - In a 1-0-1
week scored a goal in both games. Scored a goal that would force

Lauren Nigrelli, Southern New Hampshire (Gr., No. 3 Singles/No. 1
Doubles, Westerly, R.I.) - Posted a pair of wins in the
team’s win at Saint Michael's. Was a 6-1, 7-5 winner in No. 3
singles and an 8-3 winner at No. 1 doubles.

Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Rhe-Ann Niles, New Haven (Gr., MH, St. Thomas, Barbadoa) –
In a 2-0 week with wins over Stonehill and Adelphi led the team
with a .561 hitting percentage and 3.71 kills per set. Tallied 26
kills on 41 attempts and only three errors in seven sets. She added
1.00 digs per set and 1.14 blocks per set.
Northeast-10 Setter of the Week
Yael Rosner, New Haven (Sr., S, Haifa, Isreal) – Went 2-0
last week with victories over Stonehill and Adelphi. Led the team
with 9.86 assists per set and added 1.86 kills and 1.86 digs per
set along with on block and a .522 hitting percentage.
Northeast-10 Libero of the Week
Jenn Hormann, American International (Jr., L, Forest Grove, Ore.)
- Averaged 5.75 digs per game in a 1-1 week. Had 29 digs in a win
over Post and notched 17 digs against Southern Connecticut.
Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Virginia Wong, Bentley (Fr., OH, Quincy, Mass.) - Averaged 2.64
kills and 2.18 digs, and hit .174, during a 2-1 week. Had 11 kills
and 11 digs in a 3-1 win at Southern Connecticut.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Alaura Berry, Bentley (So., MH, San Diego, Calif.) - In a 2-1
week, hit .500 and averaged 2.55 kills and 0.91 blocks. Led Bentley
to a 3-1 win at Southern Connecticut with 13 kills, four blocks and
a .550 hitting percentage. Hit .636 (7-0-11) in a three-set sweep
of Bridgeport.
Alex Kearney, Bentley (So., OH, La Jolla, Calif.) - Averaged 2.73
kills, 2.45 digs and 0.45 blocks, and hitting .284 in a 2-1 week.
Had 13 kills and 14 digs in a conference win over Southern
Connecticut, and hit .378 during the NE-10/ECC Challenge to earn a
spot on the All-Tournament Team.
Kristine Mickelson, Bentley (Jr., MH, San Diego, Calif.) - During
a 2-1 week, hit .477 while averaging 2.6 kills, 0.8 blocks and 0.5
digs. In the NE-10/ECC Challenge, was named to the All-Tournament
Team after averaging 3.17 kills with a .643 hitting percentage. Had
14 kills, just one error and four kills against Dowling.
Nicole Buchholz, Franklin Pierce (Sr., MH, Broadlands, Va.) -
Collected 2.92 kills and 0.62 blocks per set in a 2-2 week. Tallied
11 kills against UMass Lowell. Posted 11 kills, five digs and four
blocks against Bridgeport and notched seven kills against Queens
and nine kills against Dowling.
Karissa Hookstadt, Franklin Pierce (Sr., S, Camrillo, Calif.) -
Dished out 9.15 assists per set and notched 2.38 digs per set in a
2-2 week. Set 39 assists and recorded nine digs against UMass
Lowell. Handed out 26 assists and had eight digs against Queens, as
well as 19 assists, seven kills and four digs against Dowling.
Chelsie Kohout, Franklin Pierce (So., L, Harrison Township, Mich.)
- Recorded 4.23 digs per set in a 2-2 week. Recorded 15 digs
against UMass Lowell. Tallied 23 digs against Bridgeport and
collected eight digs against Queens and nine digs against
Dowling.
Elizabeth Cheek, Le Moyne (Jr., OH, Huntington Beach, Calif.) -
Registered 18 kills (3.00/gm) and four service aces in a 2-0 week.
Landed 12 kills, while hitting at a .407 clip, and had two service
aces in a 3-0 sweep of Saint Michael's.
Kaylin Brainerd, Le Moyne (Jr., S, Liverpool, N.Y.) - Dished out
55 assists (9.17/gm), landed six kills and two service aces in a
2-0 week. Handed out 27 assists and had three kills in a 3-0 sweep
of Saint Michael's. Registered 28 kills and three kills in a 3-0
sweep of East Stroudsburg.
Jillian Hadder, UMass Lowell (So., OH, Yucaipa, Calif.) - Posted
averages of 3.40 kills and 1.50 digs while hitting .261 in a 2-1
week. Opened the week with eight kills in a 3-0 loss at Franklin
Pierce and followed with 14 kills in a 3-1 win at Post University.
Capped the week with 12 kills and eight digs in a 3-0 sweep over
Queens College.
Molly Cindric, Merrimack (So., MH, Westlake Village, Calif.) -
Averaged 14 kills and nine digs this past week.
Katrina Ali, New Haven (Sr., L, Christ Church, Barbados) –
In a 2-0 week which included wins versus Stonehill and Adlephi, led
the team with 4.29 digs per game. Added one service ace and five
sets in the week.
Leah Filonuk, Southern Connecticut (Fr., RS, Greenlawn, N.Y.)
– In a 3-1 week, had 36 kills and averaged 2.77 kills per
game with a .171%. Recorded 31 digs and averaged 2.38 per game.
Jenna Tammel, Southern Connecticut (Jr., RS, Spring Valley, Minn.)
- Had 48 kills with a .136 hitting percentage and averaged 2.82
kills per game this past week. Recorded seven service aces and 54
digs, averaging 3.18 digs per game.
Therese Mance, Stonehill (So., L, Milwaukee, Wis.) - In a 1-1
week, averaged 4.33 digs per set, including 14 in a 3-0 win over
Assumption.
Katherine Masson, Stonehill (Sr., OH, Acushnet, Mass.) - Averaged
3.17 kills per set with a .341 attack percentage and six digs in a
1-1 week, including 11 kills in a 3-0 win over Assumption.
