Northeast-10 Player and Freshman of the Week

James Roche, Bentley (Fr., DH, Arlington, Mass.) - In five games down south, hit .368 (7-19) and slugged .842 with three home runs, five RBI and four runs scored. Drove in a run in all five contests, and had three multi-hit games, including 3-for-4 versus Saint Leo.

Northeast-10 Pitcher of the Week

Eric Polvani, Bryant (So., RP, Wallingford, Conn.) - Earned his first win of the season throwing 3.2 innings of one-run relief in the 8-7 win over Bentley. Allowed four hits and struck out two for a 2.45 ERA.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Jason Alexander, Bryant (Sr., 3B, Simbury, Conn.) - Hi .800 in a 1-1 week down south. Went 8-for-10 at the plate with a double, two runs and a pair of stolen bases as Bryant topped Bentley, 8-7, before falling to host Rollins, 12-2 in Winter Park, Fla. Also notched two RBI.

Adam Vuolo, Bryant (Sr., RP, Walpole, Mass.) - Earned his first save of the season in a 8-7 win over Bentley, where he pitched a one-hit shutout in the ninth, striking out one.
