Northeast-10 Player of the Week

Kevin Renaud, Franklin Pierce (Sr., OF, Southbridge, Mass.) - Hit .407 (11-for-27) with seven runs scored, three doubles, two home runs and nine RBI in a 4-3 week, while slugging .741. Posted a .452 on-base percentage and was successful on all three stolen base attempts for the week. Started the week by going 3-for-4 with a double, two steals, two runs scored and three RBI in a win over Merrimack. Batted a combined 5-for-10 with two doubles, a home run, stolen base, three runs scored and three RBI in weekend series with Bentley.

Northeast-10 Pitcher of the Week

Brian Maloney, Franklin Pierce (So., SP, Brockton, Mass.) - Posted a 2-0 record and 2.08 ERA with 16 strikeouts in 13.0 innings pitched over two starts last week. Held opposing batters to a .143 average. Allowed two earned runs on four hits with seven strikeouts and just two walks in victory over UMass Lowell. Yielded two runs, just one earned, while scattering two hits over seven innings with nine strikeouts in the win at Bentley.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Andrew Babb, Southern Connecticut (Fr., OF, Hopkinton, Mass.) - Hit .600 (9-for-15) with three doubles, seven RBI, five runs scored and two walks in a 4-0 week. Slugged .800 and posted .647 on-base percentage.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Mike Baillargeon, Assumption (Jr., 2B, Worcester, Mass.) - Hit .370 (10-for-27, 5 RS, 4 2B, 2 3B, RBI) and slugged .667 (18 TB) last week. Went 4-for-7 with two runs scored, two doubles, and an RBI in two games against Merrimack. Went 2-for-4 with two runs scored, a double, and an RBI in a win over Southern New Hampshire.

James Roche, Bentley (Fr., OF, Arlington, Mass.) – In a 3-2 week, with two wins over Franklin Pierce and one against Pace, hit .476 (10-21) with two doubles, five RBI, two stolen bases and a run scored. Had three games with three hits, and was 7-for-13 in the three-game series with Franklin Pierce. With runners in scoring position, was 4-for-8.

Ricardo Sullivan, Bentley (Fr., RP, Wayland, Mass.) - Recorded three saves in a three-day span, including both ends of a doubleheader sweep at Franklin Pierce. Also recorded a save in a 5-2 win over Pace, a victory. Overall, in 4.1 scoreless innings, struck out eight and allowed only three hits and one walk.

Nick Campbell, Bryant (So., OF, Raynham, Mass.) - Hit .424 (14-of-33) on the week, ripping off a double and a triple, while posting five RBI and scoring seven runs. Was 3-for-3 in stolen base attempts and boasted a .515 slugging percentage on the 6-1 week.

Taylor Ferguson, Bryant (So., OF, Charlton, Mass.) – In a 6-1 week, hit .414 (12-for-29), including a trio of doubles and a home run. Collected eight RBI and scored eight runs, while slugging .621. Also drew four walks and stole three bases on the week.

John Michael Ryan, Bryant (Fr., RP, Worcester, Mass.) - Went 3-0 in the team’s 6-1 week, earning a pair of wins over Stonehill and a win versus Assumption. Allowed just two hits and no runs in 6.2 innings of relief, striking out four, while holding opponents to a .100 average.

Mike Adams, Franklin Pierce (Jr., SP, Orchard Park, N.Y.) - Picked up a win and a save, posting a 0.00 ERA with seven strikeouts and just one walk over 8.2 innings over two appearances, one start, last week. Earned the win with 7.2 scoreless innings in a shutout victory at UMass Lowell, scattering three singles over the outing and striking out six and walking none. Earned save in the win at Bentley.

James Barry, UMass Lowell (Sr., SP, Chelmsford, Mass.) - Pitched a complete game shutout in the 1-0 win over Merrimack. Scattered four hits and struck out two in the contest. Allowed just three Warriors to reach second base in the game.

Jack Cawley, Pace (Sr., OF, Bronx, N.Y.) - Batted .364 (8-for-22) and slugged .455 with four runs scored, two RBI, two doubles and was a perfect 5-for-5 in stolen bases. In a two-game split against Bentley, went 4-for-10 with two runs, a double and three stolen bases. In a 2-1 series against Stonehill, went 4-for-12 with two runs scored, two RBIs and a pair of stolen bases.

Mackenzie King, Pace (So., RP, Blairstown, N.J.) - Went 1-0, while striking out 11 in 6.2 innings in relief. Tossed four innings of no-hit relief and struck out seven in an extra inning win over Bentley. Tossed 2.2 innings allowing two hits and struck out four in a relief appearance against Stonehill.

Adam Hussey, Saint Anselm (Sr., SS, Danvers, Mass.) - Went 8-for-22 (.364) at the plate in a 4-2 week, including a double, a triple, and a homerun. Drove in six runs on the week.

Derek Marshall, Saint Rose (So., C, Malone, N.Y.) - Batted .524 (11-for-21) with four doubles, three RBI, and two runs scored during a 3-2 week. Recorded a .750 on-base percentage and a .714 slugging percentage. Had four straight multi-hit games and went 3-for-4 at Saint Anselm and was 5-for-10 with two runs scored in a sweep at American International.

Anthony Fiorillo, Southern Connecticut (Sr., DH, New Haven, Conn.) - Hit .563 (9-for-16) with five doubles, a triple, 10 RBI, scored three runs, drew two walks and stole a base over four games in a 4-0 week. Slugged 1.000 and had an on-base percentage of .611.

BENTLEY: The Falcons went on to sweep Franklin Pierce, becoming the first team in three years to take both ends of a doubleheader from the Ravens, and the first to do so in Rindge in six years.
