Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Jeff Bercume, Merrimack (Sr., OF, Leicester, Mass.) - Tallied 13 hits and 12 RBI in 30 at-bats. Hit a pair of homers and drove in five runs in an 8-6 win over Assumption.

Northeast-10 Pitcher of the Week
Tom Cote, Franklin Pierce (Sr., SP, Swanzey, N.H.) - Threw 16 scoreless innings and posted a 2-0 record in two starts last week. Allowed 10 hits, walked three, struck out 21 and held opponents to a .169 batting average (10-for-59). Against Assumption, threw eight shutout innings, allowed four hits, walked one and struck out 11 to tally the win. Also posted a victory against Saint Anselm, when he tossed eight scoreless innings, allowed six hits, walked two and struck out 10.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Dan DeCoste, Saint Anselm (Fr., 1B, Chelmsford, Mass.) - Raised his average from .263 to .419 by going 13-for-24 and batting .542 in eight games this past week. Reached base in eight straight games and extended his hitting streak to seven games. Also added a double and four RBI on the week.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Mike Foley, Assumption (So., OF, Worcester, Mass.) - In a 4-2 week, led the team with a .458 batting average. Had 11 hits and four RBI. In the second game of the double header against Merrimack went an impressive 5-for-5.

Garrett Stenhouse, Bentley (Jr., 1B, Warwick, R.I.) - Hit .379 (11-29) with four doubles, two homers, four runs scored and four RBI during a 3-4 week. Had a .438 on base percentage and slugged .724. Hit safely in all seven games with four two-hit games.

Steve Carr, Franklin Pierce (Sr., 1B, Nahant, Mass.) - Hit .450 (9-for-20) in a 5-1 week. Clubbed two doubles and a pair of home runs, drove in six runs, scored six times, drew a pair of walks and stole two bases. Had an .850 slugging percentage and a .500 on-base percentage.

Tim Keene, UMass Lowell (Sr., 3B, Berlin, N.H.) - Hit .407 (11-for-27) with eight RBI, three runs and three doubles. Had a hit in six of seven games, including three multi-hit games. Was 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs in a win at Southern New Hampshire.

Jared Notargiacomo, UMass Lowell (Jr., C, Newburyport, Mass.) - Hit a team-leading .444 (8-for-18) with a home run, a double, three runs and five RBI this past week. Had a hit in all five games played. Went 3-for-3 at Saint Rose.

Dustin Ramey, UMass Lowell (Jr., SP, Kingston, N.H.) - Pitched eight innings allowing just seven hits and one unearned run to get the win versus Southern New Hampshire. Struck out a season high 14 and walked just one.

Tom Rombilus, New Haven (So., 3B, Monroe, Conn.) - Hit .423 for the week with six RBI, four runs scored and two stolen bases. Did not make an error in the field while making four putouts and 12 assists. Went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI against Saint Anselm and finished 3-for-5 with three RBI and one run scored versus Southern New Hampshire.

Garret Keenan, Saint Rose (So., OF, Massapequa, N.Y.) - Batted .385 (10-for-26) with five RBI, four runs and a pair of homers. Furthermore, slugged .654, was hit twice and walked once to help account for a .448 on-base percentage. Went 1-for-3 with a solo shot against Stonehill and wound up 2-for-5 with an RBI single at Stonehill Friday and finished 2-for-4 in a 10-1 setback at UMass Lowell. Finally, capped things with a 3-for-5 effort to go with three RBI and a home run in a 6-5 win versus UMass Lowell Sunday.

Jeremiah St. Louis, Saint Rose (Sr., SP, Tupper Lake, N.Y.) - Went 2-0 with a 0.75 ERA and 18 strikeouts in 12.0 innings of work this past week. Furthermore, held opponents to a .119 batting average and surrendered five hits throughout three appearances. Tossed an inning of no-hit ball in a 9-0 win over Stonehill. Fanned 12 batters while yielding three hits in 8.0 innings of an 8-1 victory over American International. Then picked up the win after tossing three scoreless innings and striking out four in a 6-5 extra-inning triumph versus UMass Lowell.

Nick DeProspo, Southern Connecticut (So., C, Worcester, Mass.) - Went 8-for-23 (.348) with 10 RBI, two doubles and two triples in a 6-1 week. Recorded four RBI at UMass Lowell, going 2-for-4 from the plate with a double. Went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI at American International and followed that up with a 2-for-3, two triples and two RBI performance against American International at home.

Ryan Geffert, Southern Connecticut (Fr., 1B, Plymouth, Pa.) - Batted .524 (11-21) with two doubles, nine RBI, six walks and seven runs scored. Went 3-for-4 with three RBI and a run scored against Merrimack. Followed that up with another three RBI performance, going 2-for-2 from the plate at American International

Chris Zbin, Southern Connecticut (Fr., SP, Colchester, Conn.) - Recorded two wins during the week without allowing an earned run. Pitched a complete game at UMass Lowell, allowing one unearned run on three hits with six strikeouts and one walk. A couple days later, pitched five innings allowing one unearned run on three hits and seven strikeouts.

Scott Hackett, Stonehill (So., 2B, Bangor, Maine) - In seven games last week hit .458 (11-24) with at least one hit in every game and added five runs and five RBI.

NEW HAVEN:
Senior Evan Okon set the career record for hits at UNH with 237 against Saint Anselm. Okon surpassed Rob Skinnon who had the previous record of 233. Okon is also currently tied for first in career doubles with 53.
