Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Karl Derbacher, Southern Connecticut (Sr., OF, Northford, Conn.) - Went 11-for-27 (.407) with three doubles, one triple, eight runs scored and eight RBI during a 6-0 week. Had three games with at least two RBI. Went 4-for-5 with two runs scored, two RBI and one triple at Saint Anselm and went 2-for-5 with a double and three RBI against Stonehill.

Northeast-10 Pitcher of the Week
Maxx Catapano, Southern Connecticut (So., SP, Milford, Conn.) - Threw a no hitter in the win at Stonehill allowing just two walks and striking out a season-high 13 batters in his only appearance of the week.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Ryan Geffert, Southern Connecticut (Fr., 1B, Plymouth, Pa.) - Went 11-for-24 (.458) with three doubles, two home runs, seven runs scored and 11 RBI during a 6-0 week and had at least one hit in each game. Had a grand slam against Saint Anselm and went 3-for-5 with two doubles and two RBI at Stonehill.

Weekly Honor Roll:


Anthony Arrichiello, American International (So., C, Yonkers, N.Y.) - Batted .526 (10-19) in five game stretch last week. Went 3-for-5 with four RBI in win over Saint Anselm. Totaled six runs driven in and two doubles.

Zach Jacques, Assumption (So., SP, Jefferson, Mass.) - In two appearances last week, went 2-0 with an ERA of 1.93. Had eight strikeouts and allowed just three runs in 14 total innings.

Rob Finneran, Bentley (So., SP, Garden City,N.Y.) - Scattered nine hits and notched his sixth victory of the season in a complete game effort at New Haven. Allowed only one run and struck out seven, including two that came with bases loaded and two out.

Charlie Pagliarulo, Bentley (Jr., 2B, Medford, Mass.) - Hit .450 (9-20) and slugged .700 during a 2-3 week. Scored five runs, drove in seven, had two doubles and a homer, and reached base 52 percent of the time. Had four multi-hit games, including a three-hit game against New Haven, and had a three-run double to spark the team to a 9-5 win over Assumption.

Tom Cote, Franklin Pierce (Sr., SP, Swanzey, N.H.) - In his only appearance last week, threw eight scoreless innings, allowed four hits, did not issue a walk and struck out 10 to tally the win against Pace. Allowed four hits in 29 at-bats against to hold the opposition to a .138 average.

Mike Dowd, Franklin Pierce (Fr., C, East Bridgewater, Mass.) - Hit .450 (9-for-20) with three doubles and a home run in a 5-1 week. Drove in eight runs, scored seven times, drew a pair of walks and was hit by three pitches. Over the six games, posted a .750 slugging percentage and a .560 on-base percentage.

Ted Haley, UMass Lowell (So., P, Cranston, R.I.) - Pitched eight shutout innings in a win versus Assumption. Struck out three and allowed just three hits and did not walk a batter.

Jared Notargiacomo, UMass Lowell (Jr., C, Newburyport, Mass.) - Hit a team-best .500 (9-for-18) in five games this past week. Had a double, a home run, two RBI and scored four runs. Had a hit in each game and went 4-for-4 with a run scored in a 5-2 win vs. Pace.

PJ Farnham, Merrimack (Fr., OF, Andover, Mass.) - Hit .448 on 13 hits in 28 at-bats to go with eight RBI and four doubles this past week. Had at least two hits in all six games.

Alex Aguilar, Saint Anselm (Sr., DH, Newbury, Mass.) - Batted .471 by going 8-for-17 this past week and had a .572 on base percentage. Also had two home runs, seven RBI, four runs scored and four walks. In the 8-7 walk-off win over Merrimack, went 4-for-5 with two home runs, six RBI and the walk-off RBI single.

Michael Carbone, Saint Rose (Fr., 2B, Montreal, Quebec) - Batted .524 with eight runs, six RBI and four doubles during a 4-1 week. Was 11-for-21 at the plate, stole two bags and slugged .714 as well. Went 6-for-9 with five runs, three RBI and three doubles in the doubleheader sweep at Merrimack. Then went 4-for-7 with two runs, two RBI, two walks and two stolen bases in the doubleheader, which Saint Rose split versus Merrimack.

Paul Partridge, Saint Rose (Sr., 1B, Uniontown, Pa.) - Batted .545 with six RBI, three runs and a pair of homers throughout a 4-1 week. Slugged 1.182 and also recorded a .615 on-base percentage. Wound up 2-for-3 at the plate with a double, home run, two runs and two RBI in a 16-6 win at Merrimack. Drove in four runs, belted his team-leading seventh home run of the year and brought in the game-winning run while going 3-for-3 in a 13-11 win versus Merrimack.

Ed Bethke, Southern Connecticut (Jr., SP, Branford, Conn.) - Threw two complete games this past week, allowing just two earned runs. Pitched nine scoreless innings against Stonehill on eight hits. Ended the week with a 2-0 record, 19 hits, two earned runs, two walks and six strikeouts.

MERRIMACK: Jeff Bercume (Leicester, Mass.) set the school record for career hits Sunday with his 222nd hit, a fourth-inning triple against Saint Rose. Bercume now has 224 career-hits.
