Weekly Notes:
AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL: The 13-12 win at Southern
Connecticut was its first win at SCSU since recording a 34-20 win
back on October 1, 1988. The Yellow Jackets have now won eight
consecutive games dating back to last season, a streak that started
with a 44-21 victory over Merrimack.
STONEHILL: Freshman Stephan Neville's (Foxborough, Mass.)
85-yard kickoff return for a touchdown was the second kickoff
return for a score in the last four games for the Skyhawks. The
last two times Stonehill has had a receiver catch two touchdown
passes in a game has both come against Pace. Chris Palmer (Santa
Barbara, Calif.) had two in the loss on Saturday and J.J. Niamkey
had two in last year's shutout over the Setters. The Skyhawks are
now 4-1 when they score 20+ points under Rob Talley.
