About the Yellowjackets

A New Vision

American International College will educate you in the world. We're a small, coeducational, urban college with students from 27 states and 35 foreign countries. You'll live and learn among many backgrounds. More importantly, you'll be a part of the AIC family.

American International offers more than 35 undergraduate majors and a global outlook. Several programs are nationally recognized.

You should know that:

. AIC students average 20,000 hours of volunteer service a year;

. Students intern with organizations like CBS News and Pitney Bowes;

. We have a long history of excellence in teacher preparation, school psychology and school administration;

. Faculty includes a nationally recognized artist-in-residence and a Business Dean with 28 years experience as an executive;

. AIC ranks among the premier Division II athletic programs in the Northeast.

Quality Support

Teaching dominates at American International College. At 15-to-1, we have one of the lowest student/faculty ratios you'll find. Our faculty bring real-world experience into the classroom and are available above and beyond the call of duty. And student-centered classrooms help nurture our community.

AIC graduates triumph at major companies in Springfield as well as nationally known corporations such as KPMG, Peat, Marwick and NABISCO. Also in graduate programs at Harvard and MIT. 1-in-10 Springfield area doctors hold AIC degrees. And teachers and administrators throughout the Northeast received their diplomas at AIC.
