In a world where change is the only constant, it takes more than ambition to succeed.

Bryant University offers a rigorous academic program combination of business, the liberal arts, and technology to prepare you for your chosen profession and for life. At Bryant, practice and theory intersect, experience is your teacher, and character and success go hand in hand.

You’ll explore the arts and humanities and step outside the box. You’ll learn to see solutions where others see problems.

You’ll come to embrace classic words like “integrity” and “responsibility,” because at Bryant they’ve always been important.

You’ll master the technology of today to change tomorrow. You’ll be firmly planted in your chosen field and thoroughly prepared to bend when the winds of change blow. You’ll create new ways of doing business and apply them to the business of life.

Focusing On the Best Practices

Adaptability, change, innovation — these are the hallmarks of the Bryant academic program. Your path to leadership starts with an excellent education.

Our state-of-the-art curriculum has been designed to meet the needs of the 21st-century workplace and offers a broad-based education through undergraduate programs in 16 business, technology and liberal arts disciplines.

You can expand your options by pursuing any one of 22 minors in a variety of history disciplines, such as biotechnology, environmental science, women’s studies, and international business. Bryant’s faculty are accomplished and dedicated educators. They have impressive credentials and extensive practical experience.

Bryant’s Laptop Computer Program

At Bryant, you’ll gain the high-demand technology skills that are becoming increasingly essential regardless of what career path you take. Just one example of our commitment to technology is the Bryant laptop computer program.

Every entering freshman receives an IBM laptop to use through his or her first two years at Bryant, and is then issued a new laptop in the junior year, which he or she owns upon graduation.

A Supportive Community

The Bryant community is a diverse, energetic place. Here, you’ll meet students from 30 states and 28 foreign countries and find many opportunities to live with and learn from people whose social, cultural, and religious backgrounds differ from your own.

You’ll become a valued member of a community where individual differences are respected and appreciated, and people care for one another. Within this friendly, supportive community, you’ll have fun, build lifelong friendships, and come across invaluable opportunities to practice and embrace integrity, responsibility, and service to others — experiences that will carry over into the life you lead when you graduate.

Bryant’s 392-acre campus in suburban Smithfield, Rhode Island, is a blend of beauty and practicality. Our state-of-the-art facilities are set against a New England landscape of lush trees and foliage and handsomely landscaped grounds.

Hassenfeld Common is a beautifully landscaped quadrangle that is crisscrossed by walkways curving around a reflecting pool that provides a common green to meet other students, read and study, or simply enjoy the scenery.

The Bryant Center provides the services and conveniences that members of the university community need in their daily lives on campus. It houses a variety of places to eat. You’ll also find a music room, wide-screen TV lounge, an interfaith chapel, meeting and study rooms, and an information booth where you can buy movie, theater, and Bryant event tickets.

An Ideal Location

Bryant’s location in Smithfield, Rhode Island, will connect you with a wealth of personal and professional opportunities. Nicknamed “The Ocean State,” Rhode Island is brimming with dining, entertainment, and recreational opportunities along its more than 400 miles of coastline and 100-plus beaches.

Only 15 minutes from campus, Providence provides numerous career and internship possibilities and is a renaissance city rich in culture and American history.

And what could be better than living at a university that puts you in touch with the major metropolitan areas of the east? Only one hour from Boston, and three hours from New York City, Bryant is within range of Fortune 500 corporations, professional sports teams, and nationally recognized museums, theatres and cultural institutions.
