Northeast-10 Player of the Week

Mary Rogers, Bentley (Jr., F, Watertown, MA) - Had six goals and two assists in a pair of wins, 4-1 over 10th-ranked Bryant and 6-2 at Assumption. Scored a career-high five goals in the win over Assumption. Had a goal and two assists versus Bryant.

Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week

Nicole Staiti, UMass Lowell (Jr., GK, Barre, MA) - Posted a 2-0 record with wins against Stonehill (3-2) and American International (4-1). She made six saves against Stonehill and three against American International, while maintaining a 1.07 goals-against average and a .818 save percentage for the week.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Whitney Martin, Southern Connecticut (Fr., MF, Harwinton, CT) - Had a goal and an assist last week as the Owls shutout NE-10 opponents Merrimack and Franklin Pierce by identical 6-0 margins. Both points came against Merrimack.

Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll:

Nicole Phelps, American International (So., F, Nassau, NY) - Notched a goal in each game in a 0-2 week.

Sarah Roy, Assumption (Sr., MF, Fairhaven, MA) - Had four points (1 G, 2 A) in a 1-1 week. Had a goal and an assist versus American International and an assist versus Bentley.

Lindsey Harrington, Bentley (Jr., F, Atkinson, NH) - Scored twice during a 2-0 week, had one goal in each game, 4-1 versus Bryant and 6-2 versus Assumption.

Laynie Sadler, Bryant (Jr., F, Rehoboth, MA) - Scored two goals last week. One goal coming against Bentley and the other against Saint Michael's.

Joanna DaLuze, UMass Lowell (Sr., MF, Harwich, MA) - Scored two goals and assisted on a third in a 4-1 win at AIC.

Courtney Hill, UMass Lowell (Sr., F, Newburyport, MA) - Registered the game-tying goal and set up the game winner in a 3-2 victory over Stonehill. She also set up the game-winning goal in a 4-1 win at American International.

Cassandra Leone, Merrimack (Jr., F, North Andover, MA) - Scored three goals in a 5-3 win over Saint Anselm.

Lindsay Harrison, Saint Michael's (Jr., F, Brandon, VT) - Scored her first two goals of the season in a 4-1 victory over Franklin Pierce, and picked up another in a win at Bryant.

Tina Nardi, Saint Michael's (Jr., GK, Rupert, VT) - Stopped nine shots in recording a pair of victories. Had one save in a 4-1 win versus Franklin Pierce, and eight saves (6 in 2nd half) in a 4-2 win at 10th-ranked Bryant.

Cori Krajewski, Southern Connecticut (Sr., D, Carmel, NY) - In a pair of 6-0 shutout wins over NE-10 opponents Merrimack and Franklin Pierce last week, scored three goals, including the game-winner against Merrimack.

Julie Michalos, Stonehill (Sr., F, Norwood, MA) - Netted a goal and a pair of assists for four points in a 1-1 week, including a game-winning tally in overtime in a 2-1 triumph at seventh-ranked East Stroudsburg. Added single assists each in a win over Merrimack and 3-2 setback at fifth-ranked UMass Lowell.

Northeast-10 Weekly Notes:

BENTLEY: During a 2-0 week, junior forward Mary Rogers (Watertown, Mass.) moved into third on Bentley's all-time scoring list. She now has 55-20-130 and trails only Jen Bunce (78-32-188) and Allyson Bunce (70-17-157). Rogers also climbed to 10th in Division II history in scoring. Junior Lindsey Harrington (Atkinson, N.H.) became the seventh player in school history to reach the century mark in career points. Bentley debuted at #3 in last week's NFHCA Division II national coaches poll?SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT: Coach Kelley Frassinelli's team has now won five straight after opening the season with three losses on the road?UMASS LOWELL: Junior F Sara Hohenberger has jumped to 11th on UML's all-time scoring list with 20 points thus far. She started the season in 22nd place. Seven of UML's first nine games this season are on the road?STONEHILL: Stonehill, ranked eighth in the first NFHCA Division II national poll of the season, has been ranked nationally in 33 of the last 37 rating weeks. Sunday's win at seventh-ranked East Stroudsburg was Stonehill's first over the Warriors in four series meetings between the two schools dating back to 2002. The Skyhawks have faced four straight nationally-ranked foes in third-ranked Bentley, fifth-ranked UMass Lowell, seventh-ranked East Stroudsburg and ninth-ranked Saint Michael's. Senior F Julie Michalos (Norwood, Mass.) has scored the game-winner in three of Stonehill's five victories to date?FRANKLIN PIERCE: Laura Blanchard moved up to fifth on the all time list for goals scored with her 11th goal of her career last week. Also she moved up to fifth on the all time points list with 25 career points.
