Northeast-10 Players of the Week

Annie Heaney, Saint Anselm (So., F, East Kingston, N.H.) – Scored three goals in a 2-0 week. After scoring the game-winning goal at Assumption, scored twice in a 6-5 slugfest versus Southern Connecticut to cap off the week.

Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week

Jordan Smalling, Saint Michael's (Sr., GK, Essex Junction, Vt.) - Recorded eight saves in a 2-0 week, including eight saves in an overtime win over Bentley.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Kristin Tormollan, Franklin Pierce (Fr., GK, Waterville, Maine) - Made nine saves in a 1-1 week. Made five saves against six shots in a 2-1 loss at Southern Connecticut and stopped all four shots in the win versus Merrimack to earn her first career win and shutout.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Sandy Garney, Assumption (Sr., F, Charlton, Mass.) – Scored two goals in a 1-1 weekend. The first goal of the season came in a 3-2 victory over Adelphi. Scored in the loss to C.W. Post.

Nicole Murphy, Bentley (Jr., F, Dedham, Mass.) - Had two goals and an assist in a 1-1 week. Tallied a goal and an assist in a 3-2 OT loss at Saint Michael’s and netted a goal in a 3-0 shutout of American International.

Ashley Abernethy, Franklin Pierce (Jr., F, Bellingham, Mass.) - Tallied one goal and two assists for four points in a 1-1 week. Assisted on the team’s only goal in a 2-1 loss at Southern Connecticut. Notched a goal and an assist in a 2-0 win over Merrimack.

Liz Day, UMass Lowell (So., F, North Andover, Mass.) - Scored three goals in two games last week to help lead the team to two victories. Recorded two goals in the 5-0 victory over American International.

Jaci Moulton, UMass Lowell (Jr., F, Baldwinville, Mass.) - Totaled two goals and an assist in two games last week. Scored twice in the 4-2 win over Stonehill.

Laura Urko, Saint Anselm (Jr., F, Attleboro, Mass.) - Scored two goals in a 2-0 week. Tallied both goals in a 6-5 win over Southern Connecticut, including the game-winning score.

Kaitlin Koffink, Saint Michael's (Jr., M, Goffstown, N.H.) - In a 2-0 week recorded two goals including the game-winner in overtime to beat Bentley.

Andrea Slaven, Saint Michael's (Sr., F, Danvers, Mass.) - In a 2-0 week, recorded two goals including game-winner against Stonehill.

Sara Winterbottom, Southern Connecticut (So., M, Burlington, Conn.) – Led the team with four points this past week. Scored a pair of goals in the loss to Saint Anselm.

Claire Hourihan, Stonehill (Jr., F, East Amherst, N.Y.) - Provided a goal and an assist in a 0-2 week. In the loss to UMass-Lowell, scored the team’s first goal and assisted on another.

Weekly Notes:

BENTLEY: Former Bentley All-America Jessica King recorded her first win as the Falcons’; head coach on Sunday with a 3-0 victory over AIC. Wednesday’s home game with UMass-Lowell will mark the first meeting between the two rivals since the NCAA Division II national semifinals last November, a game won by the River Hawks in overtime.
