Anne Rounce, a 2007 Merrimack graduate, was named the head field hockey coach Wednesday. The announcement was made by Interim Director of Athletics Joe Iarrobino.

The National Field Hockey Coaches Association has announced the 2007 Longstretch All American Teams. Eleven Northeast-10 student-athletes represent this year's squads.

UMass Lowell's Jayne Vagenas was named to the NCAA Field Hockey All-Tournament Team. Vagenas recorded an assist and had two defensive saves in the championship match against Bloomsburg. She had a defensive save in the 2-1 win over Bentley in the semifinal match.
