Northeast-10 Player of the Week

Jason Thresher, Bryant (So., West Suffield, Conn.) - Earned co-medalist honors by finishing in a tie for first place at the Yale Springtime Opener. Was 2-over par with a 72 on day one and shot a 1-over round of 71 on day two to help lead the Bulldogs to an 11th place finish out of 21 teams.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Garrett Beyor, American International (Fr., Monson, Mass.) - Was the individual runner-up with a five-over 147 (73-74) at Dowling’s Peter King Memorial Golf Tournament, leading the Yellow Jackets to an eighth-place finish in the 16-team field.


Weekly Honor Roll:

Kent Graham, American International (Fr., Kamuela, Hawaii) - Tied for 35th with a 160 (78-82) at Dowling’s Peter King Memorial Golf Tournament, leading the Yellow Jackets to an eighth-place finish in the 16-team field.

Rob Younker, Assumption (Jr., Waltham, Mass.) - Carded a 76-79--155 to finish seventh overall and lead the Greyhounds to a ninth-place finish at the Dowling College Invitational.

Brian Jasset, Bentley (So., Norwood, Mass.) - Posted a stroke average of 79 for three rounds. Tied for 4th in the Lou Flumere Invitational after shooting a 77, and placed 12th in the Babson Invitational (83-77-160).

Bobby Leopold, Bentley (Gr., Surrey, United Kingdom) - Had a stroke average of 77.3 for three rounds. Tied for 8th in the Lou Flumere Invitational with a 78, and tied for third in the Babson Spring Opener (78-76-154).

Andrew Albrecht, UMass Lowell (Fr., Georgetown, ONT) - Placed in a tie for 65th overall and tied for 11th among Division II and III golfers at the Yale Spring Invitational. Shot a 73 for the first round and an 80 for round two en route to a 153.

Anthony Gallardo, UMass Lowell (Jr., Methuen, Mass.) - Placed in a tie for 24th overall and eighth among Division II and III golfers at the Yale Spring Invitational. Carded a 75 for the first round and a 72 for round two to finish with a seven-over-par 147.

Matt Dziubina, Pace (Fr., Shelton, Conn.) - Finished in fifth place with a two-day score of 152 (74-78) at Dowling’s Peter King Memorial Golf Tournament.

Dan Psinakis, Pace (Sr., East Meadow, N.Y.) - Finished in fourth place with a two-day score of 150 (75-75) at Dowling’s Peter King Memorial Golf Tournament.

Andrew Maziarz, Southern New Hampshire (Jr., Cumberland, R.I.) - Finished tied for sixth at Dowling's Peter King Invitational with a two-day score of 151.
