Northeast-10 Co - Player of the Week
Rob Younker, Assumption (Jr., Waltham, Mass.) - Shot a two-day
total of 149 (73-76) to finish fourth overall and tied for first
among Division II golfers to earn all-New England at the NEIGA
Championship.
Northeast-10 Co- Player and Freshman of the
Week
Garrett Beyor, American International (Fr., Monson, Mass.) -
Finished tied for fourth place overall at the New England
Championships. Had a two-day score of 71-78—149.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Andrew Mesheau, American International (So., Monson, Mass.) –
Won the individual title with a score of 76 and helped lead
American International to the team title at the Franklin Pierce
Invitational.
Tyler Johnson, Assumption (Jr., Holden, Mass.) - Shot a two-day
total of 155 (76-79) to finish in a tie for 28th overall and 12th
among Northeast-10 golfers at the NEIGA Championship.
Bob Leopold, Bentley (Gr., Surrey, United Kingdom) - At the New
England Championships, tied for eighth place overall and third
place amongst Division II golfers with a two-day score of
78-73-151. His 73 was the second-best second-day score amongst the
211 golfers.
Brian Jasset, Bentley (So., Norwood, Mass.) - Tied for 10th amongst
Division II golfers, and 28th overall, at the New England
Championships with a two-day score of 78-77-155.
Scott Congdon, Bryant (Sr., Foxboro, Mass.) – Finished tied
for eighth place overall at the New England Championships shooting
a two-day score of 151 (80-71).
Jason Thresher, Bryant (So., West Suffield, Conn.) – Finished
tied for eighth place overall at the New England Championships
shooting a two-day score of 151 (74-77).
Craig Jasinski, Franklin Pierce (Sr., Chelmsford, Mass.) - Placed
39th overall (14th among Division II golfers) at the New England
Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) with a two-day score of
156. The two-day score is the lowest by a Franklin Pierce golfer at
this event in program history. Posted a program-low round of 77 on
day two of the event.
Anthony Gallardo, UMass Lowell (Jr., Methuen, Mass.) –
Finished tied for 18th place overall at the New England
Championships. Had a two-day score of 153 (79-74).
Jim Henebry, Saint Anselm (So., Hampton Falls, N.H. ) - Fired his
best round of the year, a 72 (+2), in the Hawks match against Holy
Cross.
Mike Rattigan, Saint Anselm (Jr., Reading, Mass.) – Finished
tied for eighth place overall at the New England Championships
shooting a two-day score of 151 (75-76).
Chris Tarallo, Saint Anselm (Jr., Easton, Mass.) - Shot a 71 (+1)
for medalist honors in the Hawks' match against Holy Cross, leading
Saint Anselm to a 306-309 victory.
Jonathan Goguen, Saint Michael’s (Jr., Ashby, Mass.) - Tied
for 58th at the NEIGA Championship, shooting 76 – 82 –
158, good for 14-over-par. Helped lead Saint Michael’s to a
24th-place finish.
