Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Brian DelSavio, Franklin Pierce (Jr., F, Orangeburg, NY) - Registered one goal and two assists in a 7-3 loss to Fitchburg State. Contributed two assists in a 6-6 tie to Western New England.
Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll:
Jim Trahon, Assumption (So., F, Needham, MA) - Had two assists versus UMASS Dartmouth.
John Routhier, Assumption (So., F, Malden, MA) - Scored a goal and added an assist versus UMASS Dartmouth.
Ben Reynolds, Franklin Pierce (So., F, Wallingford, PA) - Notched two goals in a 6-6 tie to Western New England.
Mike Foley, Saint Anselm (So., F, Medford, MA) - Scored a goal and two assists in two games.
Chris O'Brien, Saint Anselm (So., F, Watertown, MA) - Scored a goal and added two assists in two games.
Jared Silver, Saint Michael's (Jr., F, Montreal, Quebec) - Earned assists on each of the four goals in two road losses.
Northeast-10 Weekly Notes:
SAINT MICHAEL'S: The Purple Knights dropped consecutive contests over the weekend for the first time this season. The team lost to Tufts University on Friday, 8-3, before being defeated by Connecticut College, 4-1, on Saturday. Junior Jared Silver (Montreal, Quebec) assisted on all four Saint Michael's goals, while senior co-captain Alex Watts (Cheshire, CT) was denied in his first opportunities to earn his 100th career point ASSUMPTION: Assumption played its first contest in nearly a month (December 10th vs. Stonehill) versus UMASS Dartmouth. They will now embark on a four-game, three-week road trip that will take them to Suffolk, Salve Regina, Framingham St., and Plymouth State before returning to Buffone Rink on January 28th (vs. Franklin Pierce). Freshman forward Frank Bova (Princeton, MA/Wachusett) and newcomer Drew Olsen (RW, Omaha, NE/Westside) both scored unassisted goals, their first career collegiate goals.
