Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Ryan Mero, Saint Michael's (Jr., F, Peekskill, N.Y.) - Scored a
goal and an assist in a 3-2 win over Concordia (Minn.) and also in
a 3-1 victory over Becker at the Saint Michael's Holiday Classic.
Donned all-tournament honors for his four-point outing while
leading the team to three straight wins for the first time since
2004.
Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Tyler Bilton, Saint Michael's (Jr., G, Penticton, B.C.) - Made 41
saves in a pair of wins over Concordia (Minn.) (3-2) and Becker
(3-1) at the Saint Michael's Holiday Classic to earn all-tournament
honors and help the team to their first three-game winning streak
in three years.
Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Sean Woodring, Franklin Pierce (Fr., F, Rogue River, Ore.) -
Recorded three points in the 5-1 win over Minnesota-Crookston. Set
a season-best by assisting on three of the team's five goals.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Joe Fields, Franklin Pierce (Sr., F, Towamencin, Pa.) - Recorded a
hat trick in the Ravens' lone game of the week, a 5-1 win over
Minnesota-Crookston. Scored the team's first two goals and added an
empty-net tally to ice the game.
Jeremy Rossignolo, Franklin Pierce (Fr., G, Rochester, N.Y.) -
Earned the victory in the 5-1 win over Minnesota-Crookston. Stopped
28-of-29 shots against the Golden Eagles to post the lowest goal
total by a Franklin Pierce opponent since Jan. 6, 2007.
Ryan DiBartolomeo, Southern New Hampshire (So., F, Leominster,
Mass.) - Totaled a goal and an assist in the 4-3 OT win over
Suffolk in the third place game of the Codfish Bowl.
John Frey, Southern New Hampshire (So., F, Westminster, Colo.) -
Notched a goal and an assist in the third place game of the Codfish
Bowl against Suffolk, recording the game-winning goal 2:15 into
overtime.
Brandon Hammermeister, Southern New Hampshire (Sr., F, Calgary,
ALB) - Notched two assists in the 4-3 win over Suffolk.
