Northeast-10 Player of the Week

Brandon Hammermeister, Southern New Hampshire (Sr., F, Calgary, ALB) - Totaled a goal and four assists in a 2-0 week. Racked up three assists in a win over Stonehill, and then totaled a goal and an assist in a 5-4 win over Franklin Pierce. Recorded the game-winning goal with just 1:53 left in regulation.

Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week

Shane Brooks, Southern New Hampshire (So., G, Kennebunk, Maine) - Stopped 55 of the 61 shots faced (.901 save percentage) in a 2-0 week. Made 31 saves in a 4-2 win over Stonehill then stopped 24 shots in a 5-4 win over Franklin Pierce.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Mike Manna, Stonehill (Fr., G, Framingham, Mass.) - Registered save totals of 31, 25, 21, 40 in Stonehill's 1-2-1 week.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Patrick Ciummo, Assumption (Sr., F, Harrisville, R.I.) - Scored two goals and had an assist in a win over Worcester State.

Pat Forshner, Saint Anselm (Sr., F, Natick, Mass.) - Finished the week with three goals in two games. Had two goals, including the game-winner, in a 4-2 victory over Southern Maine. Also scored a goal to take the lead over Salem State, but the Hawks fell 4-2.

Pat Gallagher, Saint Anselm (Jr., G, Framingham, Mass.) – In a 1-1 week, made 32 saves in a 4-2 win over Southern Maine and also made 32 saves in a 4-2 loss to Salem State.

Ryan Mero, Saint Michael's (Jr., F, Peekskill, N.Y.) - In a pair of contests with Bowdoin and Colby, scored the team's only three goals, including two against the Polar Bears.

John Frey, Southern New Hampshire (So., F, Westminster, Colo.) - Totaled three goals in a 2-0 week. Notched a pair of goals in a win over Stonehill and then added a goal against Franklin Pierce.

Brendan O'Brien, Stonehill (Jr., F, Braintree, Mass.) - Registered two goals and two assists for four total points in a 1-2-1 week. Had an assist in the 4-1 victory over Plymouth State, which moved him into first place in Stonehill's All-Time assist leaders.

Weekly Notes:


FRANKLIN PIERCE: Senior captain Joe Fields set a new program single-season record with his 15th goal of the year on Saturday against Southern New Hampshire. With the goal, Fields currently holds every major offensive record at Franklin Pierce, as he is the school's leader in career and single-season goals, assists and points. Freshman Sean Woodring also set a new school record for points by a freshman with two goals last week, ending the regular season with a 8-13-21 line (tops among NE-10 freshmen).

STONEHILL:
Junior Brendan O'Brien's assist in Monday's 4-1 victory over Plymouth State moved him into first place in Stonehill's All-Time Record books with 82 career assists. Senior Matt Curran (Scarborough, Maine) became the 13th Skyhawk in Stonehill history to record 100 career points with an assist against Southern N.H.
