Northeast-10 Player of the Week

Phil LaBreck, Franklin Pierce (So., F, Thornton, N.H.) - Scored three goals and added two assists in a 1-1 week. Scored once and had an assist in an overtime matchup with Suffolk, then recorded an assist and scored the final two goals of the game (including the game-winner) in a 6-4 win over Framingham State.

Northeast-10 Goaltender of the Week


Matt Courchesne, Southern New Hampshire (Sr., G, Bow, N.H.) - Stopped 29 of the 30 shots faced in a 5-1 win over Assumption.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

John Penny, Saint Anselm (Fr., F, Andover, Mass.) - In an 0-0-2 week, had a goal and two assists over two games for the Hawks.

Weekly Honor Roll:


Jim Trahon, Assumption (Sr., F, Needham, Mass.) - Recorded three points (2 G, A) in a 1-1 week. Scored a goal and added an assist in a win over Western New England. Had a goal versus Southern New Hampshire.

Rob Perretta, Franklin Pierce (So., D, Staten Island, N.Y.) - Scored two goals and added an assist in two games last week. After scoring once against Suffolk, the defenseman had a goal and an assist in a win over Framingham State.

Erik Caron, Saint Michael's (Sr., F, Kanata, Ontario) - Scored two goals and four assists this past week, leading the team to a 4-4 tie with Amherst and first ever win over Hamilton, 6-4.

Ryan Mero, Saint Michael's (Jr., F, Peekskill, N.Y.) - Scored three goals and two assists in a 1-0-1 week, helping the team to the first ever program win over Hamilton College.

John Frey, Southern New Hampshire (So., F, Westminster, Colo.) - Finished with a goal and two assists in the 5-1 win over Assumption.

John Durkin, Stonehill (Sr., F, Scituate, Mass.) - Scored two goals in the 8-5 victory over Johnson & Wales. Netted two third period goals to give the team a 5-3 and 6-3 advantage.

Weekly Notes:

FRANKLIN PIERCE: Senior captain Joe Fields tied the program record for career points with a first-period goal against Framingham State on Saturday, tying former teammate Brian DelSavio with 67 points in three-plus seasons with the Ravens.
