Northeast-10 Player of the Week

Thomas Baudinet, Saint Anselm (So., G, Watertown, Conn.) - Averaged 27.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and two assists per game last week. Shot 54.3 percent from the field and 52.9 percent from three-point land, hitting nine three's. In addition, was a perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line. In the win over New Haven, had 27 points and shot 61.5 percent from the field, including five three-pointers. Ended the week with a 28-point effort in a loss to Assumption. Also had five rebounds, three assists and four three-pointers in that game.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Ryan Woods, Pace (Fr., F, Staten Island, N.Y.) - Averaged 17 points and six rebounds, while shooting 12-for-29 (41.4%) in a 1-1 week. Netted 10 points and four boards in a win over Southern Connecticut. Scored a career-best 24 points and chipped in eight rebounds, two assists and two steals against Saint Rose.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Courtland Bluford, Assumption (Jr., G, Ft. Washington, Md.) - In a 2-0 week, averaged 14.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. In a win over Saint Michael's, had eight points and four rebounds and three assists. In a win over Saint Anselm, had 21 points and nine rebounds as well as two assists and one steal.

Patrick Shea, Assumption (Sr., G, Salem, Mass.) - In a 2-0 week, averaged 15 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. In a win over Saint Michael's, recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds and also had four assists, two blocked shots and two steals. In a win over Saint Anselm, had 18 points and five rebounds along with three steals and two assists and went a perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line.

Lew Finnegan, Bentley (Sr., F, Lexington, Mass.) - In a 3-0 week, provided the Falcons with 18.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 steals a game while shooting 53 percent overall. Made 8of-14 three-pointers and was 9-of- 11 at the free throw line. Erupted for 27 points (10-14 fg, 5-7 3’s) in only 29 minutes against Franklin Pierce, and had 14 points against both Merrimack and Stonehill.

Brian Tracey, Bentley (So., F, Bow Mar, Colo.) - Came off the bench to average 17.3 points and four rebounds in a trio of victories. Shot 61 percent overall, made 5-of-13 three-pointers and was perfect on 13 free throw attempts. High of 22 points and seven rebounds against Merrimack, while shooting 9-of-14 from the field and also had two blocks, two steals and two assists.

Jason Westrol, Bentley (Jr., G, Brielle, N.J.) - In a 3-0 week, including two victories over first-place teams, by averaging 18.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists and one steal. Shot 61 percent from the field and made 12-of-14 free throws. Scored 20 points on 8-of-12 fg at Stonehill, and had 18 points against both Franklin Pierce and Merrimack. Weekly highs also included seven rebounds, five assists and two steals, all in the Stonehill game.

Kinard Dozier, Franklin Pierce (So., G, Dedham, Mass.) - Averaged 16.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, two assists and 1.7 steals over three games last week. Shot 48.8-percent (20-for-41) from the field and converted all five free-throw attempts, including two with seven seconds left to seal the win at #10 Stonehill. Finished with a team high 15 points in the Stonehill victory to go with five rebounds, three assists and three steals. Posted a team-high 22 points, on 10-of-15 shooting, and three rebounds at Bentley. Collected 12 points, eight rebounds and three assists at Southern New Hampshire.

Laurence Ekperigin, Le Moyne (Jr., F, Cortlandt Manor, N.Y.) - Averaged 17.5 points and nine rebounds per game in a 2-0 week. Scored 18 points and pulled down nine rebounds in a 67-52 win over American International. Registered 17 points, 15 in the second half, nine rebounds and three blocks in a 65-60 come-from-behind win at New Haven.

Kyle Caiola, UMass Lowell (Fr., G, Parma, Ohio) - In the team’s lone game of the week, registered 18 points, seven assists and four steals while shooting 5-of-9 from the field and 8-of-10 from the free throw line in a 65-59 victory over Southern New Hampshire. Scored 10 straight points in a 19-5 run which brought UMass Lowell back from a nine-point deficit en route to its 13th straight win.

Kevin Carr, UMass Lowell (Jr., G, Lancaster, Ohio) - Scored 20 points; hitting 6-of-13 field attempts from 3-point range in the team’s 13th straight win, a 65-59 victory over Southern New Hampshire.

Darren Duncan, Merrimack (Jr., G, Briarwood, N.Y.) - Led the Warriors with 23 points and nine assists against Bentley.

Cassius Chaney, New Haven (Jr., F, Old Saybrook, Conn.) - Averaged 27.5 points, six rebounds, 2.5 steals and two assists per game last week, while shooting 55.6 percent from the field and 66.7 from beyond the arc. Scored 34 points and added seven rebounds and four steals against Saint Anselm. Finished with a game-high 21 points and nailed five three-pointers versus Le Moyne.

Josh Pelletier, Saint Rose (Sr., G, Troy, N.Y.) – Recorded career-highs of 20 points and nine rebounds in an 86-80 overtime win versus Pace. Shot 9-of-13 from the floor, including a 2-for-4 effort from the arc, to go with a pair of assists.

Troy Bowen, Southern New Hampshire (Sr., G, Nashua, N.H.) - Shot 54.3-percent from the floor, 50-percent from three-point land (7-14) and averaged 24.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game in a 1-1 week. Totaled 22 points on 8-of-14 shooting in a win over Franklin Pierce, then totaled a season-high 27 points on 11-of-21 shooting (5-9 3PT) in a setback at UMass Lowell. Also averaged 4.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game.

Tory Stapleton, Southern New Hampshire (So., F, Rahway, N.J.) - Averaged 14.5 points and seven rebounds per game in a 1-1 week, while shooting 50-percent from the floor. Totaled 16 points on 7-of-11 shooting in 19 minutes in a win over Franklin Pierce, then notched a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds at UMass Lowell.

Randall Stallworth, Stonehill (Jr., G, Toms River, N.J.) - In two games last week, averaged 23 points, three assists and two rebounds on 58 percent shooting. Shot 17-for-29 from the field and was 10-for-16 from behind the arc. Scored 18 points (7-for-14) in a loss at Bentley and had a career-high tying 28 points (10-for-15) in a loss to Franklin Pierce.
