Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Jason Westrol, Bentley (Jr., G, Brielle, N.J.) - Was named the Most
Outstanding Player in the Group Learning section at the Disney
Division II Tip-Off Classic after averaging 24.7 points, 3.7
rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.3 steals. Shot 54 percent overall, made
59 percent of his two-pointers and shot 67 percent from the free
throw line. Had a career-best 27 points vs. #8 Minnesota State, 25
vs. St. Martin’s and 22 against Southern Indiana, including
the game-winning lay-up at the buzzer.

Weekly Honor Roll:
Brian Tracey, Bentley (So., F, Bow Mar, Colo.) - Was named to the
Group Learning All-Tournament Team at the Disney Division II
Tip-Off Classic after averaging 14.7 points and 7.7 rebounds. Shot
50 percent overall, made 7 of 13 three-pointers and sank 15 of 18
free throws. Set career-bests with 26 points and 10 rebounds
against #8 Minnesota State in the season-opener, and helped spark a
second-half comeback against Southern Indiana, finishing with 14
points and nine boards.

BENTLEY: Bentley’s NCAA Division II record
55 consecutive regular season winning streak came to an end
Saturday against St. Martin’s, an amazing 994 days after the
last regular season loss (Feb. 18, 2006 at Bryant). Junior Jason
Westrol was named the Most Outstanding Player in the Group Learning
division of the Disney Division II Tip-Off Classic, and the
All-Tournament Team included sophomore Brian Tracey. Senior Lew
Finnegan (Lexington, Mass.) scored his 1,000th point as a
collegian, including his year at Cal Poly.
