Northeast-10 Player of the Week

Greg Twomey, Assumption (Gr., F, Groton, Mass.) - Scored 54 points for an average of 27 points per game shooting 21-of -28 from the floor in a 1-1 week. In a game against Merrimack scored 28 points, grabbed six rebounds had two assists and one steal. In a win over Saint Anselm scored 26 points had eight rebounds shooting 11-of-13 from the floor including a perfect 3-for-3 from the three point line. Also added five assists and one blocked shot.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Isiah Wallace, American International (Fr., G, Springfield, Mass.) - Averaged a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds per game while registering seven assists and seven steals in a 1-1 week. Scored 19 points with nine rebounds, five assists and three steals against third-ranked Bentley and netted 19 points with 11 boards, four steals and two assists in a win over Saint Michael's.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Mitch Bajema, Assumption (Sr., G, Whitinsville, Mass.) - In a 1-1 week averaged 16.5 points per game. In a game against Merrimack scored 15 points, and pulled down six rebounds. In a win over Saint Anselm scored 18 points shooting a perfect 7-7 from the floor including 4-4 from the three point line. Added five rebounds and two assists.

Savoy Fraine, Assumption (So., F, Granada Hills, Calif.) - In a 1-1 week averaged 16.5 and pulled down 6.5 rebounds. In a game against Merrimack scored 12 points and had two assists and six rebounds. In win over Saint Anselm scored 21 points had seven rebounds, three blocked shots, and one steal.

Tom Dowling, Bentley (So., G, Rockville Centre, N.Y.) - Averaged 17.5 points, seven rebounds and two steals during a 1-1 week, with shooting percentages of .632 fg, .500 3’s and .889 ft. Career-best 24 points (7-10 ft, 8-9 ft) with five rebounds and two steals at Southern New Hampshire after just missing a double-double versus American International by one rebound (11 pts, 9 reb, 5-9 fg).

Lew Finnegan, Bentley (Sr., F, Lexington, Mass.) - In a 1-1 week, averaged 16.5 points, five rebounds and three steals. Shot 50 percent overall and was 8-of-10 ft. Recorded 19 points, six rebounds and three assists in a win over American International, and had 14 points, four rebounds and three assists at Southern New Hampshire.

Kevin Hassett, Le Moyne (Jr., F, Phoenix, Ariz.) - Averaged 17 points and four rebounds in a 2-0 week. Scored a career-high 27 points in a 64-61 home victory over New Haven. Connected on his first seven shots, including four from three-point range, en route to 21 first-half points.

Darren Duncan, Merrimack (Jr., G, Briarwood, N.Y.) - Averaged 21.5 points and seven assists in two wins this past weekend.

Cassius Chaney, New Haven (Jr., F, Old Saybrook, Conn.) - Averaged 19 points per game this past week. Went 17-for-32 from the field (53.1%), 2-for-3 (66.7%) from beyond the arc and 2-for-3 (66.7%) from the line. Added 11 total rebounds, four steals and one assist.

Ryan Woods, Pace (Fr., G, Staten Island, N.Y.) - Averaged 16 points and 7.7 rebounds in a 1-2 season-opening week. Scored 14 points and totaled five rebounds against Saint Anselm. Recorded a double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds in a win over Molloy. Tallied 17 points, five rebounds and two blocks against Adelphi.

Thomas Baudinet, Saint Anselm (So., G, Watertown, Conn.) - Averaged 20.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game while shooting 44.1 percent from the field and 38.5 percent from three-point land. Had 21 points in a win versus Pace and a 20-point effort at Assumption.

Tyler Schilling, Saint Michael's (Fr., F, Excelsior, Minn.) - In a 1-1 week, averaged 12.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, and two assists per game.

Jermaine Clark, Saint Rose (Jr., G, Perth Amboy, N.J.) - Averaged 16 points, three rebounds and 2.5 steals throughout a 1-1 week. Shot 41.4 percent (12-for-29) from the floor, including a 6-for-13 effort from beyond the arc. Tossed in 14 points to go with five boards in a 67-57 setback at Le Moyne and then registered a game-high 18 points behind 53.8 percent (7-for-13) shooting in a 67-51 triumph versus Southern Connecticut. Additionally, buried 4-of-6 attempts from 3-point territory in the contest.

Troy Bowen, Southern New Hampshire (Sr., G, Nashua, N.H.) - Totaled 17 points, six rebounds and three assists in the win versus Bentley. Went 6-of-9 from the floor and 3-of-5 from behind the arc.

Tory Stapleton, Southern New Hampshire (So., F, Rahway, N.J.) - Went 8-of-14 from the floor and totaled 16 points and grabbed five rebounds off the bench in the win over Bentley.

Matt Hall, Stonehill (Sr., G, Springfield, Mass.) - Averaged 16.7 points and 5.7 rebounds while shooting 70 percent from the floor and connected on 5-of-10 three-pointers in a 3-0 week. In a win over New Haven, had 17 points and 11 rebounds and then had 20 points and four rebounds in a victory against Adelphi. Had a team-high 13 points in just 21 minutes in a win over Molloy.

Mike Kernan, Stonehill (So., F, Medford, N.J.) - Averaged 11.7 points and 8.3 rebounds during a 3-0 week. Shot 60 percent (14-for-23) from the floor and 40 percent from three-point land and made 83 percent of his free throws. Collected his second career double-double with 11 points and a career-high 13 rebounds in a win over Adelphi. Added 11 points and seven rebounds in a win over New Haven then had a team-high 13 and five more caroms in a win over Molloy.

BENTLEY:
Bentley’s 46-game regular season conference winning streak ended on Saturday, 1009 days after the Falcons’ last regular season loss. Also snapped with the lost at Southern New Hampshire were the program’s string of 55 consecutive wins over NE-10 opponents (including postseason) and 63 in a row against regional opposition.
