About Saint Anselm College

Saint Anselm maintains a steadfast commitment to the enduring values of a liberal arts education. Among the skills gained in a liberal arts education are critical reflection, precise thinking and articulate communication. All students participate in the Humanities Program, “Portraits of Human Greatness,” during their freshman and sophomore years. This nationally recognized program consists of a series of lectures, seminars, concerts, exhibitions, films, and stage presentations. Students explore the great ideas of people with great minds, past and present. They develop skills essential to make their mark on the world, whatever their goals, wherever their career leads.

Campus/Location

Saint Anselm’s 400-acre residential campus, one of New England’s most beautiful educational settings, is located in Manchester, New Hampshire. Manchester, the state’s largest city and a thriving cultural hub, is served by the nation’s fastest growing airport. The campus is only 1 hour from Boston; 1 hour from the seacoast; 1 hour from the White Mountains; 4 hours from New York City; and 4 hours from Montreal.

Students: 1,987 undergraduates from 28 states and 15 countries.

Faculty: 128 full-time and 48 part-time; 93% of the full-time faculty hold the highest degree in their academic discipline; primary commitment is teaching undergraduates through coursework and collaborative research endeavors.

Student-Faculty Ratio: 13:1
