Northeast-10 Player of the Week

Jason Longo, Le Moyne (Sr., A, Cazenovia, NY) - Scored five goals and assisted on three more as Le Moyne won its sixth consecutive Northeast-10 Conference Championship. Scored four goals and assisted on another in a semifinal win over Saint Michael's and added one goal and two assists in the championship. Was named Tournament MVP.

Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week

Jared Corcoran, Le Moyne (Sr., G, Concord, NH) - Went 2-0 with a 3.03 goals against average and .667 save percentage as Le Moyne won its sixth consecutive Northeast-10 Championship. Made eight saves in the semifinal win and stopped four shots in the title tilt.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Mike McDonald, Le Moyne (So., A, Latham, NY) - Scored five goals and assisted on two more as Le Moyne won its sixth consecutive Northeast-10 Conference Championship. Scored three goals in a semifinal win over Saint Michael's and two in the championship win over Merrimack.

Chris Elia, Merrimack (So., A, East Lyme, CT) - Had two goals and an assist in the loss to Le Moyne in the NE-10 Championship. Scored two goals and dished out four assists in a semifinal win over Bryant.

Greg Rogowski, Merrimack (Fr., A, Cohoes, NY) - Scored five goals and dished out five assists in a 12-10 win over Bryant in the NE-10 semifinals.

Eric Tompkins, Merrimack (So., G, Newington, CT) - Made 12 saves in a 10-3 loss against Le Moyne in the NE-10 Championship.

Jeff Hannon, Saint Michael's (So., G, Wilbraham, MA) - Turned aside 14 shots in the semifinal loss at top-ranked Le Moyne.

Weekly Notes:

LE MOYNE: The Dolphins picked up their sixth consecutive Northeast-10 Conference Championship with a 10-3 win over Merrimack. Le Moyne will make its fifth straight appearance in the NCAA tournament. The Dolphins will host Deep South champion Limestone on May 20 at 1 p.m. Faceoff specialist Chris Moore won 10-of-14 for the week and Matt Cassalia went 12-for-17?BRYANT: The Bryant men's lacrosse team ended its 2006 season with a 12-10 loss to Merrimack in the Northeast-10 Conference semifinals last weekend. Freshmen Matt McKeefrey and Bryan Kaufmann led the way this season in scoring for the Bullodgs as McKeefrey netted 28 goals and assisted on 24 others for 52 points. Kaufmann led the Bulldogs in scoring wtih 32 goals on the year.
