Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Mike Ball, Southern New Hampshire (So., A, Salem, N.H.) - Totaled
12 goals and an assist in a 2-0 week. Registered six goals and an
assist in a win over Assumption, then added six more goals in a
17-8 win over Saint Michael's.
Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Doug McIver, Le Moyne (Jr., G, Altamont, N.Y.) - Recorded three
victories in goal in a 3-0 week. Registered a 2.93 GAA and recorded
22 saves against 35 shots.
Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Eric Gunst, Southern New Hampshire (Fr., G, Exeter, N.H.) - Posted
a 2-0 record, .615 save percentage and 7.50 goals-against average
last week. Totaled 15 saves in a win over Saint Michael's.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Andy Curtis, Bentley (Jr., A, Chelmsford, Mass.) - Scored four
goals and added three assists in two games, including three goals
against Merrimack and a goal and three assists in the 13-3 win at
Franklin Pierce.
Kris Dambach, Bentley (Jr., G, Fair Haven, N.J.) - Posted a 5.10
goals against average and made 17 saves for a .708 save percentage
in a 1-1 week. Made 16 saves while allowing just six goals against
Merrimack, then earned the win at Franklin Pierce.
Kevin Hoagland, Bryant (Jr., A, Glastonbury, Conn.) – In the
7-5 win over Merrimack, scored three goals on six shots.
Brian Cost, Le Moyne (So., A, Syracuse, N.Y.) – In a 3-0
week recorded 12 points on nine goals and three assists.
Brian Griffin, Le Moyne (Jr., M, Camillus, N.Y.) - Helped the
Dolphins to a 3-0 record this past week at the face-off position.
Won 33 of 34 face-offs over the course of three games.
Additionally, recorded two goals and collected four ground
balls.
Jack Venditti, Le Moyne (Fr., A, Baldwinsville, N.Y.) - In a 3-0
week recorded four goals and five assists.
James Hammel, Pace (So., A, North Caldwell, N.J.) - Totaled eight
points (7G-1A) in a 2-0 week. Totaled four goals and one assist in
a win over Molloy. Netted three goals in a win over Assumption.
Timothy Matheis, Pace (Jr., G, Lindenhurst, N.Y.) - Posted a 4.00
goals against average along with 22 saves and a .733 save
percentage in a 2-0 week. Recorded 14 saves on 32 shots faced and
allowed seven goals in a win over Molloy. Allowed one goal and
totaled eight saves, while facing only 13 shots, in a win over
Assumption.
Jake Sheppard, Pace (So., M, Brunswick East, Australia) - Totaled
six points (5G-1A) including a man-up score in a 2-0 week. Netted
three goals with a man-up tally in a win over Molloy. Scored a pair
of goals and added one assist in a win over Assumption.
Charlie Niznansky, Saint Michael's (So., A, Fairfield, Conn.) -
Scored three goals and added one assist in a pair of losses on the
week. In a 17-8 loss to Southern New Hampshire, scored a pair of
goals and one assist.
John Delanoy, Southern New Hampshire (Sr., M, Lansdale, Pa.) -
Totaled four goals and six assists in a 2-0 week.
Weekly Notes:
FRANKLIN PIERCE: Senior Luke Ferreira moved into
sole possession of second place on the school's career points list
with his 79th career point on Saturday against Bentley.
MERRIMACK: Greg Rogowski had a 31 game regular season
goal scoring streak snapped in Tuesday’s 6-5 win over
Bentley. The junior had previously scored at least one goal in
every regular season game he had appeared in since his collegiate
debut, and has failed to score in just one of four playoff games, a
10-3 loss on May 6, 2006.
