Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Kevin Hoagland, Bryant (Jr., A, Glastonbury, Conn.) - Scored 11
goals and added two assists in three wins last week. Had four goals
in the win over Bentley and added four more in the win at Pace. Had
three more tallies in the win at Franklin Pierce.
Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Michael Kennedy, Bryant (Sr., G, Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.) -
Posted a 3-0 record and 5.71 goals against average in three wins
last week. Made 17 saves and allowed just five goals in a win at
Bentley. Made seven saves in a win at Pace and followed with a
five-save effort in 30 minutes of work against Franklin Pierce.
Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Gary Crowley, Bryant (Fr., M, Scituate, Mass.) – In three
wins last week, had six goals while adding five assists. Netted a
pair in a win at Bentley and followed with a goal and four assists
in the win at Pace. Netted a hat trick and one assist in a win at
Franklin Pierce.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Kevin Gould, Bentley (So., A, Duxbury, Mass.) - Scored three goals
and added two assists in two games last week. Tallied two goals and
an assist against Bryant and scored a goal and an assist at Saint
Michael's.
Luke Ferreira, Franklin Pierce (Sr., A, Farmington, Maine) - Scored
eight goals and added one assist for nine points in three games
last week.
Alex Bily, Le Moyne (Sr., M, Syracuse, N.Y.) - In a 19-1 victory
over Assumption, scored four first-half goals.
Greg Rogowski, Merrimack (Jr., A, Cohoes, N.Y.) - In two wins last
week, scored seven goals and contributed an assist.
Cory Spinale, Merrimack (So., G, Wakefield, Mass.) - Stopped 22
shots on goal last week, including 17 in a 9-8 win over Southern
New Hampshire.
Justin Page, Pace (Sr., M, Eagan, Minn.) - Tallied seven goals,
including four man-up scores in a 1-1 week. Totaled five goals
(three man-up) in a win over American International. Netted a pair
of goals (one man-up) against Bryant.
Chris Murphy, Saint Anselm (Jr., A, Winchester, Mass.) - Had three
goals and two assists in a loss to Merrimack in the team's lone
game of the week.
Jeff Hannon, Saint Michael's (Sr., G, Wilbraham, Mass.) - In a 2-0
week, stopped 27 shots against Assumption and Bentley. With a .750
save-percentage in a 6-5 win over Assumption, tallied 15 saves and
a shutout first half. Against Bentley, stopped 12 shots in the
game, including eight in the second half to hold off the Falcons,
9-7.
Greg Lazarus, Saint Michael's (Sr., A, Evanston, Ill.) - In a 2-0
week, tallied five goals and two assists. In a 6-5 win over
Assumption, scored a pair of goals and one assist before recorded a
hat trick of goals against Bentley in a 9-7 win. His third goal
against the Falcons proved to be the game-winner minutes into the
fourth quarter.
Mike Ball, Southern New Hampshire (So., A, Salem, N.H.) - Totaled
nine goals in a 1-1 week. Posted five goals against Franklin Piece
then added four goals in a setback to Merrimack.
Eric Gunst , Southern New Hampshire ( Fr. , G , Exeter, NH ) -
Recorded a .600 save percentage and a 9.14 goals-against average in
two games last week.
Weekly Notes:
ASSUMPTION: Senior midfielder Brandon MacNeil
(Delta, British Columbia) recorded two assists last week to become
the career leader in assists with 62, passing former Hound Justin
Cecil '96.
BRYANT: With his six goals last week, junior Bryan
Kaufmann (Putnam Valley, NY) has 99 career goals good for third
all-time in school history. Kaufmann holds the school mark for
man-up goals in a career with 24. Kevin Hoagland moved into fourth
all-time with 86 career goals.
FRANKLIN PIERCE: With two goals on Sunday against
Bryant, senior captain Luke Ferreira moved into first place
all-time in goals scored at Franklin Pierce, as his 70 goals passed
the 69 tallies of former Raven Bill Paradis. Ferreira also sits in
second place on the school's career points list, behind only
Paradis.
