Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Greg Rogowski, Merrimack (Jr., A, Cohoes, N.Y.) - In three games
last week, totaled eight goals and recorded an assist, leading the
Warriors to a 2-1 week with wins over American International and
Pace.
Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Doug McIver, Le Moyne (Jr., G, Altamont, N.Y.) - In a 2-0 week,
recorded 11 saves in 75 minutes of action. Allowed only one goal
and recorded a .917 save percentage and a 0.80 goals against
average.
Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Michael Balbuena, Merrimack (Fr., A, Falmouth, Mass.) - Scored a
pair of goals and contributed eight assists in a 2-1 week.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Kevin Klaskin, Assumption (So., A, Norfolk, Mass.) - Recorded 11
points (4 G, 7 A) in a 2-1 week. Had a goal and an assist at
Dominican. Scored two goals and added six assists in a win over
American International. Added a goal in a season-finale victory at
Franklin Pierce.
Brandon MacNeil, Assumption (Sr., M, Delta, B.C.) - Recorded 13
points (5 G, 8 A) in a 2-1 week. Added two assists at Dominican.
Scored three goal and four assists in a win over American
International. Finished the week with two goals and two assists in
a season-finale victory at Franklin Pierce.
Kris Dambach, Bentley (Jr., G, Chester, N.J.) - Made 29 saves in
two games, earning a 1-1 record with an 8.50 goals against average
and .630 save percentage. Made 13 saves while allowing 10 goals
against Le Moyne.
Kevin Gould, Bentley (So., A, Duxbury, Mass.) - Scored two goals
and added two assists in two games this past week. Netted the
game-winning goal in the win at Southern New Hampshire.
Bryan Kaufmann, Bryant (Jr., A, Putnam Valley, N.Y.) - Scored four
goals and added an assist in the 24-7 win over Southern New
Hampshire. Had three goals at the half and added four ground balls
in the game.
Brian Cost, Le Moyne (So., A, Syracuse, N.Y.) - Notched five goals
and dished out one assist in victories over Merrimack and Franklin
Pierce.
Ryan Gregory, Pace (Sr., A, Bethpage, N.Y.) - Totaled six points
(5G-1A) in three games this past week. Tallied one assist against
Saint Michael's and one goal against Merrimack. Had four goals in
the season finale against Saint Anselm.
Mike McClain, Saint Anselm (Sr., A, Milton, Mass.) - In a 14-9 win
over Pace, scored four goals and added a pair of assists. Two of
his goals came in the fourth quarter, including the eventual
game-winning score that gave the Hawks a 9-8 lead with 13:22
remaining in the game.
Steve Trocki, Saint Anselm (Sr., M, Braintree, Mass.) - Tallied
three goals in a win over Pace. In addition, won 7-of-9 faceoffs,
had two groundballs and one caused turnover.
Greg Lazarus, Saint Michael's (Sr., A, Evanston, Ill.) – Had
four goals in the season finale, 10-6 win over Pace.
Mike Ball, Southern New Hampshire (So., A, Salem, N.H.) - Totaled
seven of the team’s 14 goals in two games last week. Recorded
three goals against Bentley and four goals against Bryant.
Weekly Notes:
ASSUMPTION: Senior Brandon MacNeil (Delta, British
Columbia) finished his career with 95 points, third-most in program
history. He holds the school record for career assists with 70.
BRYANT: Bryant enters the week ranked third
nationally, the highest ranking in school history. Bryan Kaufmann
(Putnam Valley, N.Y.) stretched his consecutive point streak to 45
straight and 31 straight with a goal. Kevin Hoagland (Glastonbury,
Conn.) has 97 career goals and has a point in 45-straight
contests.
PACE: Senior Ryan Gregory ended his collegiate
career with 131 points, good for eighth in school history. His 92
career goals place him eighth in the school record list.
SAINT ANSELM: The six NE-10 victories ties the
Saint Anselm single-season school record for league wins.
