Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Brian Welch, Le Moyne (Sr., M, Ithaca, N.Y.)- Scored three goals
and dished out two assists in the 8-4 win over Limestone.
Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Doug McIver, Le Moyne (Sr., G, Altamont, N.Y.) - Held Limestone to
just four goals in leading the Dolphins to an 8-4 victory.
Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Andrew Buccellato, Saint Michael's (Fr., A, Glen Rock, N.J.) - In
his collegiate debut, a 13-1 victory over Dominican College,
registered three goals.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Nicholas Violandi, Assumption (So., A, Duxbury, Mass.) - In a game
against sixth ranked Molloy College, scored two goals in the
game.
Kevin Gould, Bentley (Jr., A, Duxbury, Mass.) - Had a team-high two
assists and three points in the season opening game against No. 3
C.W. Post.
Brendan Grant, Bentley (Fr., A, Walpole, Mass.) - Came off the
bench to score a team-high two goals in the season opener against
C.W. Post. Both of his goals came as Bentley scored four unanswered
in the game's closing minutes.
Jason Flanigan, Franklin Pierce (Sr., M, Shrewsbury, Mass.) -
Scored a team-best two goals in the season-opener against No. 7
Dowling.
T.J. Urban, Pace (Sr., A, Kinnelon, N.J.) - Tallied three points
(1G, 2A) in the season opener against Wheeling Jesuit.
Chris Murphy, Saint Anselm (Sr., A, Winchester, Mass.) - Had four
goals and one assist as the Hawks dropped a thrilling 11-10 final
to No. 5 Adelphi. Scored the final three goals of the game to get
within one in the final quarter, including one man-up score.
Matt O’Connell, Saint Anselm (Jr., A, Charlestown, Mass.) -
Posted a team-leading four assists in a near upset of No. 5
Adelphi.
Jake Previte, Saint Michael's (Sr., M, Cohasset, Mass.) - In a 13-1
season opening victory over Dominican College, tallied three goals
and assisted on another.
