Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Kevin Gould, Bentley (Jr., A, Duxbury, Mass.) – Led the way
for Bentley last week with five goals and nine assists in a 2-0
week. Against Saint Anselm, had three goals and four assists for a
game-high seven points. Against Southern New Hampshire, again had a
game-high seven points on two goals and five assists.
Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Doug McIver, Le Moyne (Sr., G, Altamount, N.Y.) -
Posted a 3.20 goals against average and 11 saves in 75 minutes of
action in a 2-0 week. Did not need to make a save in 15 minutes
between the pipes in a 21-1 win over Franklin Pierce. Stopped 11
shots in a 5-4 win at #4 Merrimack.
Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Peter Hanson, Saint Michael’s (Fr., M, Andover, Mass.) -
Tallied three goals and two assists in a 1-1 week. All five points
came in a 19-7 win versus American International, a career-high.
Also won six face-offs on the week, and had two ground balls and a
caused turnover.
Weekly Honor Roll:
John Murphy, Assumption (So., A, Walpole, Mass.) -In a victory over
Pace, scored two goals and had an assist for three points in the
team’s lone game of the week.
Kris Dambach, Bentley (Sr., G, Chester, N.J.) - Made 21 saves and
had a goals against average of 9.00 in a 2-0 week. Made 12 saves
against Saint Anselm and nine against Southern New Hampshire.
Brad Tunis, Bentley (Jr., M, Sudbury, Mass.) - Had a team-high
seven goals in two wins last week. Keyed the Falcons' win over
Saint Anselm with five goals, then chipped in two more against
Southern New Hampshire.
Mike Byrnes, Le Moyne (Fr., A, Tully, N.Y.) -Tallied four points on
two goals and two assists in a 2-0 week. Scored two goals and
handed out two assists against Franklin Pierce in a 21-1
victory.
Brooks Robinson, Le Moyme (Sr., M, Preble, N.Y.) - Scored three
goals and dished out an assist and picked up three ground balls in
a pair of conference victories. Tallied three goals against
Franklin Pierce in a 21-1 victory. Notched the assist on the
game-winning goal in the 5-4 win at #4 Merrimack.
Greg, Rogowski, Merrimack (Sr., A, Cohoes, N.Y.) - Tallied seven
goals and two assists in a 14-8 win over American
International.
Jake Sheppard, Pace (Sr., A, Brunswick East, Melbourne, Victoria,
Australia) -Totaled five points (4G, 1A) in two games. Against
Assumption, totaled two goals, including a man-down score. Against
Saint Anselm, tallied two goals and one asissts along with five
ground balls.
Chris Murphy, Saint Anselm (Sr., A, Winchester, Mass.) – Had
seven goals in a 1-1 week. After scoring five goals in a loss at
No. 7 Bentley, tallied a pair of goals in a win at Pace. Also had
two caused turnovers and 11 groundballs in the week.
Charlie Niznansky, Saint Michael's (Jr., A, Fairfield, Conn.) -
Tallied a team-high four goals and added an assist in a 1-1 week.
Scored three goals (Including the game-winner) and added an assist
in a 19-7 win versus American International. Also scored versus
Southern New Hampshire and had two ground balls on the week.
Sean Ball, Southern New Hampshire (Sr., M, Salem, N.H.) - Totaled
six goals and two assists in a 1-1 week. Recorded three goals and a
pair of assists in a win over Saint Michael's.
Weekly Notes:
FRANKLIN PIERCE: Senior midfielder Jason Flanigan
(Shrewsbury, Mass.) scored his 48th career goal at top-ranked Le
Moyne last week, moving him into a tie for sixth in the Ravens
all-time list with Nick Cowden (2004-07).
