Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Mike Ball, Southern New Hampshire (Sr., A, Salem, N.H.) - Totaled
11 goals and five assists in a 2-0 week. Registered 10 points
(seven goals, three assists) in a win over American
International.
Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Cory Spinale, Merrimack (Jr., G, Wakefield, Mass.) - Stopped 14
shots in an 11-6 win over Saint Anselm. Stopped five shots and
earned his first career assist in a 17-5 win over Pace.
Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Andrew Brown, Southern New Hampshire (Fr., M, Marshfield, Mass.) -
Totaled seven goals and three assists in a 2-0 week. Scored three
times in a 12-8 win over Assumption, then totaled four goals and
three assists in a win over American International.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Andy Curtis, Bentley (Sr., A, Chelmsford, Mass.) - Helped Bentley
to a win in its lone game of the week with three goals and one
assist for a game-high four points against Assumption.
Kris Dambach, Bentley (Sr., G, Chester, N.J.) - Made 10 saves and
allowed just two goals in the win over Assumption.
Matt Forzaglia, Franklin Pierce (Fr., M, Croton-on-Hudson, N.Y.) -
Led the Ravens with four goals over two games last week. Collected
ten groundballs for the week as well. Scored twice in the setback
to Saint Michael's. Followed that up with two more goals against
Saint Anselm.
Jack Harmatuk, Le Moyne (So., A, Syracuse, N.Y.) - Tallied seven
points on four goals and three assists in a 2-0 week. Notched three
goals and two assists in a 16-2 win over American International.
Registered one goal and one assist in a 7-3 victory over Saint
Michael's.
Doug McIver, Le Moyne (Sr., G, Altamont, N.Y.) - Registered eight
saves, while allowing just three goals, in 84:33 of action between
the pipes in a 2-0 week. Faced just two shots, saving both, in
24:33 in a 16-2 win against American International. Made six saves
in a 7-3 win over Saint Michael's.
Michael Balbuena, Merrimack (So., A, Falmouth, Mass.) - Netted
eight goals and added an assist in two wins this past week.
Greg Rogowski, Merrimack (Sr., A, Cohoes, N.Y.) - Tallied eight
goals and four assists leading Merrimack to wins over Saint Anselm
and Pace. Posted six goals, including his 200th goal, in a 17-5 win
over Pace.
James Hammel, Pace (Jr., A, North Caldwell, N.J.) - Totaled six
points in two games this past week. Tallied three goals and two
assists against Molloy. Scored a goal against Merrimack.
Matt Surette, Saint Anselm (Sr., M, Wakefield, Mass.) - Scored six
goals and one assist for seven points in a 1-1 week. Had a hat
trick vs. nationally-ranked Merrimack and put up three goals and
one assist in the win at Franklin Pierce.
Andrew Buccellato, Saint Michael's (Fr., A, Glen Rock, N.J.) - In a
1-1 week, totaled six points, all on goals. The six goals were a
career-high and all came in a 15-8 victory at Franklin Pierce.
Brendan O'Brien, Southern New Hampshire (Fr., G, Hopkinton, Mass.)
- Recorded an 8.57 goals-against average and .588 save percentage
in a 2-0 week. Made 12 saves and allowed eight goals in a
complete-game win over Assumption, then notched eight saves in
38:04 against American International.
Weekly Notes:
ASSUMPTION: Kevin Klaskin became just the third
Greyhound in Men's Lacrosse to score 100 career points. He is now
second on the all time points list with 102 points (46 goals and 56
assists) through just three seasons.
LE MOYNE: Clinched at least a share of the Northeast-10
Conference Regular Season Championship for the ninth time in the
last 10 seasons.
MERRIMACK: Senior All-American Greg Rogowski became the
first player in school history to tally 200 career goals in a 17-5
win Saturday over Pace. Rogowski has 205 career goals.
SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE: Senior Mike Ball became
the 20th player in SNHU program history to record 100 career points
Saturday at American International. He has recorded 90 goals and 19
assists over his career.
