Player of the Week
Jennifer Winters, Le Moyne (Jr., SS, Vestal, NY) - In a 4-0 week, hit .667 (10-15) and slugged 1.067 with seven runs scored, three doubles, one home run and 2 RBI. Went 6-for-7 in a DH sweep of Bentley.
Pitcher of the Week
Martha Senko, Le Moyne (So., SP, Pine City, NY) - Went 2-0 and did not allow a run in 10 innings. Struck out 12 and allowed just three hits (.094 batting average). Pitched a one-hit shutout over Bentley.
Freshman of the Week
Lauren Rappoli, Stonehill (Fr., SS, Wilmington, MA) - Hit .500 (9-18) with a two doubles, six runs scored and seven RBI in 3-2-1 week, slugged .611 and had a .591 on-base percentage. Went 4-for-6 (career-high five RBI) in DH sweep at Pace. Added three hits (RBI) in DH against Southern Connecticut.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Megan Nickerson, American International (Fr., P, Greenfield, MA) - Posted a 0.75 ERA in four appearances (2 starts). Struck out 12 in 18.2 innings and limited opponents to a .136 average. Pitched two innings and (H, ER, 4 K) to earn her first save against Saint Rose.
Korina Salafia, Assumption (Fr., C, Leominster, MA) - Hit .500 (7-for-14, 2B, 4 RBI, 8 B) and slugged .571 in a 3-2 week. Went 5-for-6 with a double and 3 RBI in a DH at Merrimack.
Lisa Tisbert, Bentley (Sr., SS, Andover, MA) - In a 1-5 week, hit .368 (7-19) with a double, two RBI and two runs scored. Defensively, made one error in 28 chances.
Amanda Gagne, Bryant (So., SS, Wilbraham, MA) - Hit .600 in two games, going 3-for-5 (R, 3 RBI) in a DH at UMass Lowell. Went 3-for-4 (2 2B) in a game on win.
Colleen Varone, Franklin Pierce (So., C, Holliston, MA) - Hit .333 (7-21) with a pair of triples and five runs scored in a 3-4 week. Went 2-for-4 (2 R, 3B, GW R). Went 2-for-3 (R) at Saint Michael's. Went 2-for-3 (R) performance in game two of a DH at Pace (4/23).
Lindsay Knapp, Franklin Pierce (Fr., SP, Elmira, NY) - Allowed one earned run and struck out 13 in 22.1 innings, going 2-1 in three starts. Allowed one earned run on three hits in a CG effort at Bentley. Earned her first victory (CG shutout) at Southern N.H., scattering four hits and striking out seven. Added another CG eight inning shutout (1-0) at Pace, scattering seven hits.
Tabitha Hebert, UMass Lowell (Sr., SP, Lowell, MA) - Hit .444 in six games. In a DH sweep of AIC, went 2-for-2 (BB), earning the win in game one. In game two, went 2-for-4 with the GW RBI (2B). Added the GW RBI in a 5-0 win over Stonehill.
Kristen Mahoney, UMass Lowell (So., SP, Burlington, MA) - Started three games, posting a 3-0 record and a 0.32 ERA. Tossed shutouts against Stonehill and AIC, while holding Bryant to one run with 10 K (tied a career high).
Kristen Belair, Merrimack (So., 2B, Methuen, MA) ? Hit .455 (5-11) 5-for-11 and slugged .818 last week. Notched a home run and double.
Tess Bair, Pace (Sr., SS, Gaston, OR) - Ht .600 (9-15) for the week with one home run, three RBI, one double and three runs scored.
Julie Pistorino, Saint Anselm (Jr., 1B, Abington, MA) - Hit .357 (5-14) with a double, two triples and five RBI and slugged .714 in a 3-1 week.
Evelyn Peters, Saint Rose (So., 1B, Poughkeepsie, NY) - Hit .522 (12-23) with three RBI and six runs scored in a 3-5 week. Added a .533 on-base percentage and had five multi-hit games. Went 5-for-6 (RBI, 2 R) during a DH with Merrimack.
Jessica Hernandez, Southern Connecticut (Sr., C, Milford, CT) - In four games, hit .462 (6-13) with 2 RBI and stole two bases. Was error free in 15 chances in the field.
Felicia Brum, Southern New Hampshire (So., C, Braintree, MA) - Hit .533 (8-15) and slugged .733 in a 4-1 week. Recorded a hit in all five games and went 3-for-3 (2 RBI, 3B) in a win over Assumption.
Mary Bradford, Southern New Hampshire (Fr., SP, Big Bear, CA) - Appeared in four of five games and posted a 3-0 record with three CG shutouts spanning 21 scoreless innings. Allowed four hits in a 1-0 win over Merrimack and fanned a season-high eight against Franklin Pierce. Also went 3-for-8 (2B, RBI) at the plate.

Le Moyne: Heading into Monday's rescheduled doubleheader with Merrimack, the Dolphins are 56-3 at home over the last four seasons, including an 11-1 mark this season ? Bryant: With 21 wins, Bryant is closing in on the school record for wins in a season of 26. Deidre Kittredge's (Worcester, Mass.) 13 doubles ties her for second most in school history in a season and extends her career record of 45 ? Saint Michael's: With their 7-2 win versus Franklin Pierce on Thursday, the Purple Knights set a program record with their seventh straight victory, eclipsing the six-game winning streak set in April of 1979. Sophomore Meggan Roberge (Sheldon Springs, Vt.) also matched her own program season record with her 14th win against the Ravens. The next day, she suffered her first loss of the season in a 10-inning setback at nationally-ranked Le Moyne ? Stonehill: Stonehill has nearly doubled its entire win total of last season and has already posted its highest Northeast-10 victory total in four years to date, as the Chieftains are 10-7-1 since April 6th. Four of the Chieftains' top six hitters in the lineup are freshmen ? Southern New Hampshire: Senior Maggie Nugent (Hudson, NH) established a new program record for career games played during the week. Nugent has played in 140 of a possible 141 games over her four-year career, breaking the previous record (138) set by Danielle Jendrasko last spring. Nugent also moved into eighth place in career hits with 87. Freshman pitcher Mary Bradford (Big Bear, CA) enters this week with a streak of 21-straight scoreless innings ? American International: Senior Keli Waite (Granville, N.Y.) recorded her 100th career hit Thursday against Saint Rose. Marisa Markiewicz (Southwick, Mass.) notched her first career victory Tuesday against Post, hurling four innings and striking out four ? Bentley: Senior SS Lisa Tisbert (Andover, Mass.) moved into fourth on Bentley's all-time hit list with 131. She needs six more to move into third and eight to take over second place.
