Northeast-10 Player and Pitcher of the Week
Breanne Gleason, New Haven (Jr., SP, Bristol, Conn.) - Was 4-1 on the mound in five appearances with 49 strikeouts in 37.0 innings. Pitched three complete game shutouts and allowed just three hits and no runs against C.W. Post. Pitched nine scoreless innings with 17 strikeouts against Assumption and gave up two hits and struck out 16 batters in a shutout against Saint Michael's. Also hit .350 with a home run, a double and six RBI. Went 3-for-3 with two RBI against Assumption

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Kelcie Cashel, Le Moyne (Fr., 2B, Lacona, N.Y.) - Hit .800 (8-for-10) with four runs scored and four stolen bases in a 4-0 week. Went 6-for-7 with a double, a run batted in, three runs scored and three stolen bases in a doubleheader sweep of Saint Michael's. Posted two hits in two at-bats in game one of a doubleheader sweep of Saint Rose.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Kellie Brown, American International (Sr., 1B, Gill, Mass.) - Batted .368 (7-19) with one double, one homerun, six RBI and four runs scored in a 4-2 week. Went 2-for-4, including a two-run homerun, with four RBI and two runs scored in a 12-2 win over Assumption and was 2-for-4 with a double and two-RBI in a 4-3 win at Southern New Hampshire. Was 1-for-4 with two runs scored, including the game-winning run in the bottom of the ninth, in the 7-6 come-from-behind win over Southern Connecticut.

Tara DeMontier, American International (Sr., 3B, Amesbury, Mass.) - Batted .444 (8-18) with one double, one homerun, five RBI and six runs scored in a 4-2 week. Went 2-for-3 with three RBI and a run scored in a 12-2 win over Assumption and was 4-for-5 with a double and three runs scored as the team rallied for a nine-inning 7-6 win over Southern Connecticut. Was 2-for2 with two RBI and a run scored, including a game-winning solo homer, in a 3-2 win at Southern New Hampshire.

Kristen Dolan, American International (Fr., SP, Norwood, Mass.) - Went 3-0 with three complete games and 19 strikeouts in a 4-2 week. Allowed two runs in a five-inning 12-2 win over Assumption and struck-out eight in nine innings of work in a 7-6 come-from-behind win over Southern Connecticut. Closed the week by striking out eight in a 3-2 win at Southern New Hampshire.

Jennifer Lowrey, Assumption (Fr., SP, Assonet, Mass.) - In two complete game appearances this past week, pitched 15.1 innings with an era of 0.00. Struck out 11 and batters hit just .132 against her on the week.

Lindsey Ayers, Bentley (So., OF, Brielle, N.J.) - During a 3-3 week, hit .389 (7-18) with two doubles, two runs scored and three RBI. In a doubleheader sweep of Southern New Hampshire, was five-for-seven and accounted for five runs.

Megan Blier, Bentley (Fr., C, York, Maine) - Was 6-for-13 (.462) with a double, homer, two runs scored and five RBI during a 3-3 week. Was four-for-five in a doubleheader with Merrimack, including a seventh-inning HR in the nightcap to tie the game at the time. Had three RBI in a 7-1 game two win over Southern New Hampshire.

Tara Fogarty, Bentley (Fr., SP, Chester, N.Y.) - Was 2-1 with a 1.40 ERA in three starts. Held opposing hitters to a .234 average and struck out 23 in 20 innings. Posted a 2-1 win over Stonehill and threw a four-hitter at Southern New Hampshire for a 3-1 victory.

Jennifer Farrelly, Le Moyne (Sr., SP, Latham, N.Y.) - Hit .700 (7-for-10) with three doubles and a home run, four RBI and five runs scored, while also going 1-0 in the pitcher's circle with a 0.00 ERA and three strikeouts in seven innings pitched, in a 4-0 week. Went 5-for-7 with three doubles and a solo home run and picked up a victory in a doubleheader sweep of Saint Rose. Struck out three batters in a complete-game one-hitter in game one at Saint Rose. Drove in two runs and scored twice in going 2-for-3 in a 12-1 win over Saint Michael's.

Jenna Vanacore, Le Moyne (So., SP, Hicksville, N.Y.) - Went 2-0 with a 0.78 ERA and 13 strikeouts in nine innings pitched, while allowing just four hits. Struck out eight batters in five innings, yielding just three hits, in a 7-1 win at Saint Rose. Struck out five batters, while allowing just a first-inning single, in the 12-1 five-inning victory over Saint Michael's.

Kelsey Ellis, Merrimack (So., 3B, Vancouver, BC) - Batted .462 (6-for-13) to go with four runs scored, two RBI, a homer and two doubles. Drilled a homer in a 4-1 win over Bentley and drove home the game-winning run with a walk-off single in game two against Bentley.

Patricia Hurley, Pace (Sr., 1B, Assonet, Mass.) - Batted .571 (8-for-14)with two runs, a double, a homerun and five RBI in four games this past week. Went 5-for-6 with a double and an RBI in a doubleheader against Caldwell. Went 3-for-8 with two runs scored and a grand slam homerun in a split with Southern Connecticut.

Morgan Murphy, Saint Anselm (Fr., 1B, Orange, Mass.) - In the team's lone doubleheader of the week, was 3-for-5 for a .600 average, along with a 1.200 slugging percentage and a .667 on-base percentage. Had one run scored, two runs batted in and a homerun. The homerun was a two-run shot and was the game-winning hit in the 2-1 win over Southern New Hampshire.

Christina Wolf, Southern Connecticut (Sr., 3B, Newtown, Conn.) - Went 5-for-14 (.357) in four games last week (2-2) with six RBI, one run scored and two doubles. Tallied a .500 slugging percentage, along with a .471 on-base-percentage.

Kaitlin Andrews, Stonehill (Fr., SP, Hudson, Mass.) - Tossed two complete game shutouts during a 5-1 week. In wins over both Bentley and Franklin Pierce, walked just one batter and yielded a combined 13 hits. In the win over the Falcons, scattered six hits, and struck out three. Then in a win over the Ravens, gave up seven hits, walked one and struck out one. None of the 13 hits allowed were for extra bases. For the week, went 2-0, with a 0.00 ERA with one walk and four strikeouts.

Kate Brides, Stonehill (Sr., OF, West Bridgewater, Mass.) - Had a team-high nine hits in a 5-1 week, batting .409. Five of her hits were for extra bases (three doubles, two triples) and also scored five runs, was a perfect 2-for-2 on stolen bases and added an outfield assist.

Weekly Notes:

BENTLEY: Senior Alex Hitchcock (Abington,Mass.) broke a pair of Bentley career records in Wednesday’s doubleheader at Merrimack, becoming the Falcons’ all-time leader in both hits (149) and assists (441).

SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE:
Senior Ashley Bernstein became SNHU's all-time leader in runs batted in Tuesday against Saint Anselm with 78. She passed Lynda Kent, who drove in 77 runs from 1984-87.

STONEHILL: Courtney Young (Danvers, Mass.) hit three home runs in the six games a week ago, extending her school record to 21 round trippers. She is currently fourth on both the school's all-time hits list 140 and RBI list (85). Yesenia Marerro (Brockton, Mass.) is second on the school's homerun list with 11.
