Northeast-10 Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week

Arthur Engelhard, Bentley (So., Apalachin, NY) - In a 140-66 win over Bridgewater State, captured both the 200 yard freestyle (1:52.64) and 100 free (50.69), and also swam a leg on the winning 200 medley relay team (1:42.38).

Northeast-10 Women's Swimming Athlete of the Week

Alison Lesher, Le Moyne (So., Sherrill, NY) - Swam a 5:14.95, a pool record, in the 500 free for the pool record. She also touched first in the 1000 free, 100 fly and 200 IM.

Northeast-10 Men's Diving Athlete of the Week

Kyle Reese, Bentley (So., Hamden, CT) - Captured both diving events in a 140-66 win over Bridgewater State, with scores of 237.52 on the one meter and 223.35 on the three meter.

Northeast-10 Women's Freshman of the Week

Kristen Thuerk, Bentley (Fr., Cheshire, CT) - In a 129-96 win over Bridgewater State, finished first in both the 200 freestyle (2:04.43) and the 200 butterfly (2:19.51). Also helped capture the 200 medley relay (1:59.64).

Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll:

MEN:

Ryan Lowrie, Le Moyne (Jr., Johnson City, NY) - Set a pool record in the 100 butterfly to help Le Moyne to a 152-141 win over Hamilton. Teamed for a pool record with a time of 1:38.39 in the 200 Medley.

Michael Kaas, Saint Michael's (So., West Haven, CT) - Placed second in the 100-yard IM, and also the 50 and 100-yard freestyle events in the meet against Norwich. Placed seventh overall in the 400-IM with a time of 4:43.07, and came in 11th in the 100-yard butterfly.

Tom Wu, Saint Michael's (Sr., Litchfield, CT) - Came in first place in the 50-yard breaststroke with a time of 29.84, and finished second in the 100-yard breaststroke.

WOMEN:

Arden Brust, Bentley (So., Newark, NY) - In a 129-96 win over Bridgewater State in the final dual meet of the season, finished first in both the 1000 yard freestyle (11:02.74) and the 200 backstroke (2:19.12), and helped Bentley win the 200 medley relay (1:59.64).

Kaitlin Chepeleff, Bentley (Fr., Vernon, CT) - Finished first in both the 100 individual medley (1:07.67) and the 200 breaststroke (2:38.28) during a 129-96 win over Bridgewater State. Also swam a leg on the winning 200 medley relay (1:59.64).

Stephanie Hammer, Saint Michael's (Fr., Billings, MT) - Won both the 500 and 1,000-yard freestyle races with times of 5:39.91 and 11:19.24.

Ellie Hedden, Saint Michael's (Sr., Warwick, RI ) - Placed first in the 50 and 200-yard freestyle, and finished second in the 50-yard butterfly against Norwich.

Kerry Slade, Saint Michael's (So., Roslindale, MA) - Earned first place finishes in the 100-yard IM and the 50 and 100-yard backstroke against Norwich.

Northeast-10 Weekly Notes:

BENTLEY: The Bentley swim teams finished the dual season with records of 11-2 and 7-3 after sweeping Bridgewater State. The Falcon divers will compete in the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association championships this weekend at UMass-Dartmouth, with the rest of the meet the following weekend at Western New England.
