Northeast-10 Men’s Swimming Athlete of the Week

Aaron Rocheleau, Southern Connecticut (So., Newington, Conn.) - Won two events at the Bentley Invitational. In the 200 Yard Breaststroke, finished the event with a time of 2:17.21 and in the 200 Yard IM, he finished first with a time of 1:59.50.

Northeast-10 Women’s Swimming Athlete of the Week

Kristen Frost, Southern Connecticut (Jr., Madison, Conn.) – Led the team to a first place finish, placing first in both the 100 Freestyle (52.97) and 500 Freestyle (4:52.99) events. Broke both college pool and Bentley Invitational meet records in both events.

Northeast-10 Men’s Diving Athlete of the Week

Jon Andrews, Bentley (So., Southbury, Conn.) - Finished first in the three-meter diving (243.15) and was second off the one-meter board (217.75) during the Bentley Invitational.

Northeast-10 Women’s Diving Athlete of the Week

Cassandra Gentile, Pace (Fr., Cortland Manor, N.Y.) - Won both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events at the Bentley Invitational.

Northeast-10 Co-Men’s Freshman of the Week

Drew Acquaviva, Le Moyne (Fr., Delmar, N.Y.) - Registered two individual wins in the home-opening 149-66 win against Utica. Placed first in the 50-yard freestyle in a time of 23.21. Also touched first in the 50-yard backstroke in 25.72.

Ryan Brauer, Saint Rose (Fr., Clifton Park, N.Y.) - Recorded a pair of first place performances that helped Saint Rose finish fourth at the Bentley Invitational. Set both a school and meet record with a 1:57.46 clocking in the 200 butterfly and then registered a winning time of 9:56.28 in the 1,000 free, which also established a school standard.

Northeast-10 Women’s Freshman of the Week

Eileen Mullowney, Saint Michael's (Fr., Burlington, Vt.) - Set three program records in her collegiate debut at the Bentley Invitational. Won the 200-yard freestyle (1:58.33, more than four seconds better than the previous program record), finished second in the 1,000-yard freestyle (11:11.07), and third in the 100-yard freestyle (55.10).

Weekly Honor Roll:

Jill Capadanno, Assumption (Fr. Dracut, Mass.) - In a dual meet against Elms scored 32.50 points including finishing first in the 100-yard butterfly, 100-yard individual medley, 100-yard freestyle, and helped the 200-yard freestyle relay, and 200-medley relay teams to first place finishes. Also competed at the Bentley invitational and finished 11th in the 200-yard freestyle and fifth in the 200-yard butterfly.

Anne Kaduboski, Bentley (So., Dedham, Mass ) - During the Bentley Invitational, set a collegiate pool and meet record by winning the 200 yard butterfly in 2:10.20. Also finished second in the 500 freestyle (5:25.71) and fourth in the 200 free (2:02.64). -

Rafael Pena, Bentley (Jr., Cape Coral, Fla.) - At the season-opening Bentley Invitational, finished first in the 50 yard freestyle (22.98) and fourth in the 100 free (50.07).

Zach Hisert, Le Moyne (Sr., Amsterdam, N.Y.) - Registered a first-place finish with 149.55 points in the one-meter diving in a 149-66 home-opening win against Utica.

Nicole Murphy, Le Moyne (Jr., Camillus, N.Y.) - Registered two individual wins in the home-opening 136-66 win against Utica. Placed first in the 50-yard freestyle in a time of 26.43. Also touched first in the 50-yard butterfly in 28.82 seconds.

Katie O’Donnell, Le Moyne (Fr., Delmar, N.Y.) - Registered a pair of first-place finishes in the home-opening 136-66 win against Utica. Placed first in the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 55.53 seconds. Was the top women's finisher in the 1,000-yard freestyle in 11:11.65.

Mary Walton, Le Moyne (Fr., Syracuse, N.Y.) - Registered a first-place finish with 152.50 points in the one-meter diving in a 136-66 home-opening win against Utica.

Caitlin Peterson, Saint Rose (Fr., Sherrill, N.Y.) - Helped Saint Rose finish third at the Bentley Invitational. Set a school record in the 200-yard freestyle with a second place time of 1:54.43. Also swam the third leg on the 400 free relay quartet that took second behind a 3:57.58 clocking.

Alicia Robinson, Saint Rose (So., Albany, N.Y.) - Registered two second place finishes at the Bentley Invitational to help Saint Rose finish third. Touched second in the 50 free with a time of 26.38 and was also part of the second place 400 medley relay squad that finished in 4:15.19.

Jeremy Frey, Southern Connecticut (Fr., Pipersville, Pa.) - Finished first in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 1:49.07 at the Bentley Invitational. Also took second place in the 200 Yard IM.

Cody Hall, Southern Connecticut (Jr., Parker, Colo.) - In the 200 Yard IM event, finished in first place with a final time of 2:14.75. Also took home second place in the 200 Yard butterfly with a time of 2:11.14, in the first place finish for the Owls.

Miguel Nesrala, Southern Connecticut (Fr., Santo Domingo, D.R.) – Finished first in the 100 Yard Freestyle event with a time of 48.06.

Emily Sundel, Southern Connecticut (Jr., West Hartford, Conn.) - Set a meet record in the 1000 yard freestyle, posting a time of 10:42.55.

Weekly Notes:

SAINT ROSE: Saint Rose freshmen Caitlin Peterson and Ryan Brauer established school records at the Bentley Invitational on Saturday. Peterson swam the fastest time in school annals in the 200 free with a second place time of 1:54.43. Brauer set both school and meet records with a 1:57.46 clocking in the 200 butterfly to go with a winning time of 9:56.28 in the 1000 free, thus touching in another school record time.
