Northeast-10 Men’s Track Athlete of the Week
Dan Darcy, Bentley (So., Sharon, Mass.) - Finished first in a
40-man field in the 800 meters at the MIT Invitational, posting a
time of 1:56.14.
Northeast-10 Women’s Track Athlete of the Week
Stephanie Montagano, Bryant (Jr., Wakefield, Mass.) - Took first
place in the 400-meter dash at this weekend's MIT Spring
Invitational in 58.31. Also anchored Bryant's second-place 4x400
meter relay (4:13.66).
Northeast-10 Men’s Track Freshmen of the Week
Kevin Gill, Stonehill (Fr., Brockton, Mass.) - Ran the 1500 meters
in 3:50.17 at the Larry Ellis Inviational in Princeton, N.J. Was
the first D2 runner to finish and provisionally qualified for the
NCAA Championships.
Northeast-10 Women’s Track Freshman of the Week
Corinne Flieger, Bentley (Fr., Hopkinton, Mass.) – Ran a
school record time, 15.80 in the 100 meter hurdles in the MIT
Invitational. In addition to third of 20 in that event, finished
first of 15 in the high jump (5-3) and participated on Bentley's
4x100 relay team, which was second of eight in 51.33 seconds.
Northeast-10 Men’s Field Athlete of the Week
Tyler Guilmette, Stonehill (Jr., East Longmeadow, Mass.) - Took
home the MIT Invitational crown in the long jump, leaping 22 feet,
10 inches.
Northeast-10 Women’s Field Athlete of the Week
Molly O'Connell, Assumption (Jr., Tulsa, Okla.) - Won the discus
with a distance of 117 feet, 1 inch (35.68 meters) at the
Connecticut College Invitational.
Northeast-10 Men’s Field Freshman of the Week
Justin Roberts, American International (Fr., Sutton, Mass.) - Came
in second in the Javelin with a throw of 54.02 meters, which is 177
feet and 3 inches at the Holy Cross Invite over the weekend.
Northeast-10 Women’s Field Freshman of the Week

Weekly Honor Roll:
Chris O'Day, Assumption (So., Braintree, Mass.) - Finished second
in the 1500 meter race (a career-best 4:08.18) at the Connecticut
College Invitational.
Stephan Ramirez, Bentley (Sr., San Antonio, Texas) - Was first of
41 in the 1500 meters at the MIT Invitational, with a time of
4:02.56.
Alexander Engel, Bryant (So., Spencer, Mass.) - Engel finished
second in the 400-meter dash at this weekend's MIT Spring
Invitational in a time of 49.22. Also anchored Bryant's winning
4x400 meter relay (3:22.36) and ran the second leg of the
second-place 4x100 meter relay (43.09).
Thomas O'Connor, Bryant (Fr., Westwood, Mass.) - Took fourth in the
200-meter dash in this weekend's MIT Spring Invitational in a time
of 22.24. Also anchored Bryant's second-place 4x100 meter relay
(43.09) and ran the third leg of the winning 4x400 meter relay
(3:22.36).
Nicole Radzik, Bryant (Sr., Sutton, Mass.) - Took first place in
the 3000-meter steeplechase at this weekend's MIT Spring
Invitational in a time of 11:32.00, finishing 49 seconds faster
than nearest competitor.
Jacqui Barrett, UMass-Lowell (So., Woburn, Mass.) - Placed fourth
overall and first among Division II-III throwers in the shot put at
the Princeton Larry Ellis Invitational. Threw for a distance of 43'
3.0''.
Haley Catarius, UMass-Lowell (So., Marshfield, Mass.) - Placed
eighth overall - tops among Division II-III runners - in the 800
meters at the Princeton Larry Ellis Invitational. Ran the course in
2:12.92, which improved standing from 16th to ninth on the NCAA
Championship qualifying list.
Lyra Clark, UMass-Lowell (Fr., Nashua, N.H.) - Finished 21st
overall and topped the Division II-III field in the 1,500 meters at
the Princeton Larry Ellis Invitational. Ran the course in 4:36.94,
pitting her 17th on the NCAA Division II Championship qualifying
list.
Chris Forbes, UMass-Lowell (Fr., Methuen, Mass.) - Placed second
overall - first among Division II-III runners - in the unseeded
1,500 meters at the Princeton Larry Ellis Invitational. Posted a
time of 3:59.85 and finished just behind Alexis Torre-Santiago of
Army (3:59.49) by 0.36 seconds.
Rocky LeFort, UMass-Lowell (Sr., Nashua, N.H.) - Placed fifth
overall and tops among Division II and III throwers in the shot put
at the Princeton Larry Ellis Invitational. Threw for a distance of
50' 9.25''.
Gillian Mundry, UMass Lowell (Sr., Methuen, Mass.) - Won the long
jump at the MIT Invitational with a leap of 18' 0.5''.
Shanika Pitts , UMass-Lowell (Fr., Easton, Mass.) - Won the 200
meter dash and placed second in the 100 meter dash at the MIT
Invitational. Ran the 200 in 25.57 seconds and the 100 in 12.37
seconds.
Rex Radloff, UMass-Lowell (Jr., Dedham, Mass.) - Placed seventh
overall - tops among Division II and III runners - in the 5,000
meters at the Princeton Larry Ellis Invitational. Ran the course in
14:28.11 to provisionally qualify for the NCAAs with the
14th-fastest time in the country
Meaghan Lucie, Saint Rose (Fr., West Islip, N.Y.) - Took the
5,000-meter run at the Hamilton Invitational. Broke the tape in
20:14.65, defeating nearest competitor by 1:20.
Jen Gardynski, Stonehill (Jr., Everett, Mass.) - Finished ninth in
the steeplechase at the Larry Ellis Invitational in Princeton, N.J.
on Friday. Ran a time of 11:17.58 to break school record and
provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships.
Torrey Price, Stonehill (Jr., Sleepy Hollow, N.Y.) - Collected
second place finishes in both the 100 meter and 200 meter dashes at
the MIT Invitational.
Weekly Notes:
BENTLEY: During the MIT Invitational, freshman
Corinne Flieger (Hopkinton, Mass.) broke the school record in the
100 meter hurdles for the second straight week after the previous
mark had stood for 19 years. Her time of 15.80 seconds improved on
last week's record-setting time of 16.21 seconds.
