Northeast-10 Co-Men’s Track Athletes of the
Week
Donte Brown, UMass Lowell (So., Raynham, Mass.) - Won the 400 meter
dash at the UMass Lowell George Davis Invitational with a time of
49.28 seconds.
Kency Gilet, Pace (Sr., Nanuet, N.Y.) - Won the 400-meter hurdles
with a time of 1:01.49 at the Wesleyan Invitational.
Northeast-10 Women’s Track Athlete of the
Week
Melissa Nash, Bentley (Sr., Marshfield, Mass.) - Finished first of
30 in the 3,000 meters at the George Davis Invitational, posting a
time of 10:19.54 to win by nearly six seconds.
Northeast-10 Men’s Track Freshman of the
Week
Ryan Saunders, Saint Rose (Fr., Cambridge, N.Y.) - Registered three
top-five performances at the George Davis Invitational. Finished
second by clearing 1.83 meters in the high jump and also had second
and fourth place efforts in the 400m hurdles and the 100m dash with
respective times of 57.75 and 11.52. Furthermore ran the lead leg
on the second place 4x100 relay squad that crossed the line in
44.78.
Northeast-10 Women’s Track Freshman of the
Week
Nicole Giaquinto, UMass Lowell (Fr., Winthrop, Mass.) - Won the 200
meter dash at the UMass Lowell George Davis Invitational in 26.13
seconds. Also placed third in the 100 meter dash in 12.95
seconds.
Northeast-10 Men’s Field Athlete of the
Week
Cory Murray, UMass Lowell (So., Methuen, Mass.) - Won the shot put
and set a meet record with a throw of 51 feet, 4.5 inches at the
UMass Lowell George Davis Invitational. The distance eclipsed the
previous record of 50' 4.0'' set last year by former River Hawk
standout Rocky LeFort.
Northeast-10 Women’s Field Athlete of the
Week
Lauren Raimondi, UMass Lowell (So., East Longmeadow, Mass.) -
Captured two events at the UMass Lowell George Davis Invitational.
Won the 100 meter hurdles in 15.11 seconds and went on to clear 5'
3.25'' to win the high jump.

Weekly Honor Roll:
Evelyn Marrero, Bentley (Fr., Amsterdam, N.Y.) - Finished fifth of
30 in the 3,000 meters at the George Davis Invitational, with her
10:45.18 an outdoor PR.
Amy Papalia, Bentley (Sr., Marlboro, Mass.) - Was second of 14
overall, and first amongst NE-10 runners, in the 800 meters during
the George Davis Invitational at UMass-Lowell. Time of 2:23.14 was
an outdoor personal best.
Mike Vatti, Bentley (Fr., Easton, Pa.) - At the George Davis
Invitational, was second of 26 in the 400 meters (50.57) and third
of 14 in the 200 (24.22).
Jacqui Barrett, UMass Lowell (Jr., Woburn, Mass.) - Won her second
shot put title in as many weeks at the George Davis Invitational
with a throw of 45' 2.5''.
Matt Blazon, UMass Lowell (So., Lowell, Mass.) - Won the 400 meter
hurdles at the UMass Lowell George Davis Invitational in 56.92.
Prisna Doriscat, UMass Lowell (Jr., Boston, Mass.) - Won two events
at the UMass Lowell George Davis Invitational. Captured the 100
meter dash in 12.76 seconds and also ran a leg on UMass Lowell's
4X100 meter relay team which placed first in 49.93 seconds.
Dana Jamieson, UMass Lowell (Fr., Sudbury, Mass.) - Won the 400
meter dash at the UMass Lowell George Davis Invitational in 61.32
seconds.
William Nguidjoi, UMass Lowell (So., Lawrence, Mass.) - Won the
triple jump at the UMass Lowell George Davis Invitational with a
distance of 43 feet even. Also placed second in the long jump with
a leap of 20 feet even.
Rex Radloff, UMass Lowell (Sr., Dedham, Mass.) - Won the two-mile
for the second straight year at the UMass Lowell George Davis
Invitational with a time of 9:12.30.
Kevin Jackson, Saint Rose (Sr., Schenectady, N.Y.) - Anchored the
4x100 relay squad that crossed the line in 44.78 at the George
Davis Invitational. Ran a winning time of 15.55 in the 110m hurdles
and also had a fifth place time of 11.55 in the 100m dash. Finally,
registered a seventh place leap of 5.82m in the long jump.
Diwani Augustine, Southern Connecticut (Jr., East Hartford, Conn.)
- Placed third in the triple jump (14.36m) and sixth in the long
jump (6.75m) at the Joe Hilton UNC Invitational.
Tyler Guilemette, Stonehill (Sr., East Longmeadow, Mass.) - Won his
third straight individual title in the long jump with a first place
finish in the event at the George Davin Invitational (6.80
meters).
Meghan Rocha, Stonehill (Jr., Nashua, N.H.) - Was first in the
discus and third in the hammer throw at the George Davis
Invitational. Discus toss of 112 feet, eight inches was more than
two feet further than the next competitor.
