Weekly Notes:
BENTLEY: Kim Brennan's 23 points against Franklin
Pierce was the most for a Bentley freshman and guard since Lauren
Moore had the same number against American International in 2004.
Bentley's six-game winning streak matches it’s longest since
a nine-game streak in 2004. Bentley, following its 50-46 win over
Le Moyne Saturday, has won the last 200 games in which it has
allowed less than 50 points, a streak that dates back to 1977.
FRANKLIN PIERCE: Sophomore forward Johannah
Leedham set a school-record with eight three-pointers in the win
over Southern New Hampshire (8-11 3FG)
UMASS LOWELL: Sophomore guard Rahshala Valentine
eclipsed the school record for assists in a single game with 14 in
last week's 76-67 win over Merrimack. Valentine's effort edged the
previous record of 13 set by former UMass Lowell standout Marsha
Blalock on Nov. 17, 1997.
SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT: Senior forward Kate Lynch
notched her 1,500th career point against American International on
Saturday, becoming just the second player in school history to
tally both 1,500 career points and 500 career rebounds. Also on
Saturday against American International, senior forward Rochelle
Johnson became the 12th player in school history to collect 500
career rebounds.
