Northeast-10 Player of the Week

Johannah Leedham, Franklin Pierce (So., F, Ellesmere Port, England) - Averaged 25.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, six assists and 4.5 steals to lead the Ravens to a 2-0 weekend at the Doubletree Tip Off Classic. Shot 51.4-percent (18-35) from the field, including 4-for-9 (44.4%) from three-point range, and converted 11-of-13 (84.6%) free-throw attempts. In a win over St. Thomas Aquinas, had 21 points, 12 rebounds (11th career double-double), eight assists and four steals. Totaled 30 points, five rebounds, five steals and four assists in a win over Mercy.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Logan Pintka, Saint Michael's (Fr., F, Niskayuna, N.Y.) - Led the team to a 63-55 win over Saint Thomas Aquinas with 15 points, 15 rebounds and four blocks. In a 78-58 win over Mercy, added nine points and four rebounds.

Weekly Honor Roll:


Alexis Castro, American International (Sr., F, Chula Vista, Calif.) - Netted 16 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two steals in a victory at New Haven.

Kayla Parker, Assumption (So., F, Sanford, Maine) - Averaged 17.0 points while shooting 62.5 percent (10-16 FG) from the floor in a 2-0 week. Recorded 23 points (7-12 FG, 9-12 FT), including 14 points in the second half, with four rebounds and a block in a win over Molloy. Had 11 points (3-4 FG, 5-9 FT), three rebounds, and two blocks in a win over Concordia. Named to the Courtyard by Marriott Classic all-tournament team.

Bethany Plasski, Assumption (Jr., G, Fall River, Mass.) - Averaged 19.0 points and 2.5 steals in a 2-0 week. Recorded a team-high 25 points (4-9 3FG, 7-8 FT), including 16 points in the second half, two assists, and two steals in a victory over Molloy. Had a team-high 13 points and three steals in a win over Concordia. Named to the Courtyard by Marriott Classic all-tournament team.

Kelsey O'Keefe, Bryant (So., F, Warren, Mass.) - Scored a career-high 33 points to lead Bryant to a 68-63 season-opening win over Adelphi. The 8 rebounds and 33 points were both game highs. Went 13-for-18 from the field and 5-for-7 from the line.

Kim Wagoner, Le Moyne (Sr., G, Syracuse, N.Y.) - Had 19 pts and five assists in a win against Mercyhurst.

Gretchen Roderigues, UMass Lowell (Jr., G, Acushnet, Mass.) - Scored 14 points on 4-of-6 field goal shooting to lift UMass Lowell over Southern New Hampshire, 59-57. Converted 4-of-5 attempts from 3-point range and added three steals.

Amanda Shannon, Merrimack (Jr., G, North Andover, Mass.) - Averaged 25 points in two games, leading the Warriors to two victories. Converted 11-of-13 free throws and averaged six rebounds and 4.5 assists.

Stephanie Klingele, Pace (Sr., G, Staten Island, N.Y.) - Tallied game-highs with 20 points and eight rebounds, while shooting 6-for-10 from the field and 3-for-5 from three-point range against Dowling.

Rachel Reilly, Saint Anselm (Sr., G, Londonderry, N.H.) - Finished tied for the team lead with 17 points on 7-of-18 shooting from the field. Added four rebounds, four assists and four steals.

Cassaundra Thorpe, Saint Anselm (Sr., F, Portsmouth, N.H.) - Finished with a 16-point, eight-rebound effort in a loss at defending national champion Southern Connecticut. Was 5-for-6 from the field and 6-for-7 from the free throw line, along with one block and one steal. Had 10 points in a second-half run to help the Hawks close to within seven points.

Anna Florent, Saint Michael's (Jr., C, Fort Wayne, Ind.) - Averaged 14.5 points and 7.5 rebounds in two wins over Mercy and Dowling including 19 points and 8 rebounds in a 78-58 win over Mercy.
Dana Brown, Saint Rose (Jr., G, Elmont, N.Y.) - Registered a career-high 16 points to go with six rebounds and four assists in a 75-65 victory at C.W. Post. Knocked down 4-of-8 shots from the perimeter and went 7-for-8 from the foul line.

Emily Gottstein, Saint Rose (Sr., F, Albany, N.Y.) - Finished with 15 points and seven rebounds in a 75-65 victory at C.W. Post. Went 4-for-8 from the field and hit 7-of-8 shots from the foul line.

Lexi Allen, Southern Connecticut (Jr., G, Southbury, Conn.) - Scored 20 points and had five rebounds while playing a team-high 33 minutes in a win against St. Anselm.

Kate Lynch, Southern Connecticut (Sr., F, Rumford, R.I.) - Opened the season with 22 points, four rebounds, five assists, two steals and a block while starting and playing 32 minutes against St. Anselm.

Kelsey Simonds, Stonehill (Jr., F, Middleboro, Mass.) - Averaged 19.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.0 blocks and 2.0 in a 2-0 week. Shot 14-for-21 from the field and was named to the Assumption College Marriott Courtyard Classic All-Tournament team. In the win over Molloy, had 27 points, 10 rebounds, five blocks and three steals while shooting 10-for-13 from the field. 20 points and all rebounds came in the second half. Opened the season with 11 points, five rebounds in only 13 minutes in a win over Concordia.
