Northeast-10 Women's Basketball Weekly Report For Contests Through March 30, 2008
Franklin Pierce's Johannah Leedham recorded a double-double with totals of 31 points and 18 rebounds in the 71-65 overtime setback to Alaska Anchorage at the NCAA Division II Elite Eight. Leedham made 8-of-20 shots from the field and converted 14-of-15 shots from the free-throw line to go with four assists and two steals.

An Elite Eight appearance for the Franklin Pierce women's basketball team didn't seem possible as recently as just over two weeks ago. The Ravens, seeded second in the Northeast-10 Conference tournament, barely edged No. 7 Le Moyne, a .500 team, in the second round and No. 6 Bryant then dismantled Franklin Pierce at the FPU Fieldhouse, outrebounding, outhustling and out-executing the home team.

Bryant's Kelsey O'Keefe averaged 22 points in a 2-0 week, while shooting 13-for-16 from the line and 15-of-33 from the field. O'Keefe recorded a double-double against Merrimack, scoring 21 points and collecting 10 rebounds in the 62-58 win. She then scored 23 points and grabbed seven boards in the 73-60 win over Saint Michaels in the NE-10 Tournament first-round contest.

Northeast-10 Women's Basketball Weekly Report For Contests Through February 24, 2008
Saint Rose's Emily Gottstein averaged a double-double behind 26.5 points and 11 rebounds in a 2-0 week, while shooting 65.5 percent (19-for-29) from the floor and 15-of-19 from the free throw line. In a 72-54 non-conference win over Bloomfield, Gottstein poured in 34 points and hauled in 13 boards. She went 12-for-17 from the floor and buried 10-of-13 shots from the stripe.

Northeast-10 Women's Basketball Weekly Report For Contests Through February 17, 2008
Southern Connecticut's Kate Lynch notched a pair of double-doubles last week, averaging 22.5 points, 12.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 3.5 steals per game. Lynch scored 25 points, recorded 10 rebounds, dished out seven assists and collected two steals against Pace. She scored 20 points, grabbed 15 boards, handed out two assists and notched five steals versus Bryant.
