Northeast-10 Player of the Week

Alison Colarusso, Merrimack (Sr., A, North Andover, MA) - Scored eight goals in a 1-0 week, a victory over Saint Michael's.

Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week

Lisa McEachern, Southern New Hampshire (Sr., G, Scituate, MA) - Averaged 11.5 saves and posted a .622 save percentage and a 7.17 GAA during a 2-0 week. Stopped 13-of-21 shots in a win over Saint Michael's and made 10 saves in a win over Southern Connecticut.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Jennifer Parro, Southern New Hampshire (Fr., A, Ipswich, MA) - Totaled a team-high 13 points (6 G, 7 A) in a 2-0 week. Contributed five points (3 G, 2 A) in a win over Saint Michael's and totaled eight points (3 G, 5 A) in a win over Southern Connecticut.

Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll:

Shannon Burke, American International (So., A, Billerica, MA) - Registered five goals and three assists in a pair of games last week. Totaled a season high seven points (4 G, 3 A) in a setback at Assumption.

Jenny Mongeau, Assumption (Sr., M, Westboro, MA) - Recorded nine goals in a 1-1 week. Scored six goals versus American International and three goals against Adelphi.

Alyssa Ritchie, Bentley (Fr., A, North Andover, MA) - Had five points in the lone game of the week with two goals and three assists.

Lauren Carlisle, Bryant (Jr., A, San Diego, CA) - Posted four goals and two assists in a win over Saint Anselm and followed with three goals in a win at Saint Michael's. Finished the week with nine points and added three ground balls.

Michaela Rocha, Saint Anselm (Fr., A, Rye, NH) - Scored 10 goals in three games last week, including a four-goal effort against Southern Connecticut.

Colleen Sheehan, Saint Anselm (Jr., M, No. Andover, MA) - Scored nine goals and added an assist in three games. Posted five goals and an assist against Southern Connecticut.

Amanda Soule, Saint Michael's (So., M, Hartland, VT) - Earned 15 draw controls and scored four goals last week.

Kaitlin Janicki, Southern Connecticut (Fr., A, Old Lyme, CT) - Finished the week connecting for 12 goals on 24 shots in a 0-3 week.

Maura Murphy, Southern New Hampshire (Fr., A, Candia, NH) - Scored a team-high eight goals and totaled 11 points in a 2-0 week. Scored three times in a win over Saint Michael's and totaled eight points (5 G, 3 A) in a win over Southern Connecticut.

Jenny McGrath, Stonehill (Sr., A, Milton, MA) - Netted five goals and three assists for eight points in a 0-2 week, including a hat trick and three assists for six points in a setback at C.W. Post. Added a pair of markers in a setback at West Chester.

Erin Acone, Stonehill (Sr., M, Bow, NH) - Netted four goals in a 0-2 week, scoring two goals each in a setback at C.W. Post and a setback at West Chester.

Northeast-10 Weekly Notes:

Stonehill: Senior A Jenny McGrath (Milton, Mass.) became the second player in Stonehill history to eclipse the 100-point mark in a single season with a six-point effort in Saturday's setback at top-ranked C.W. Post. McGrath, now with 102 points on the season, joins Katie Lambert as the only two Skyhawks to accomplish the feat, as Lambert netted a school record 104 points in 2001. McGrath is one of nine players in Division II history reach the "century mark" in one season. Senior M Erin Acone (Bow, N.H.) netted a pair of goals in Saturday's setback at C.W. Post to become the eighth player in Division II history to reach the 300 career point mark, as she now has 301 points and also joins Lambert as the only two players in Stonehill history to turn the trick, as Lambert notched 326 points during her career. Acone's 242 career goals ranks second on the Division II list behind West Chester's Katelyn Martin. Stonehill, ranked third in last week's IWLCA Division II national poll, has been ranked in the IWLCA top 10 for each of the past 53 weeks. Stonehill has now faced five nationally-ranked foes this season in #1 C.W. Post, #2 Adelphi, #4 Limestone, #6 West Chester and #10 Merrimack. The Skyhawks begin defense of their Northeast-10 tournament crown on Saturday with a semi-final round match-up against either Bentley or Southern New Hampshire. Stonehill will serve as the host institution for the tournament for the eighth straight season and seeks its seventh straight championship title? Bryant: The Bryant women's lacrosse team will host Saint Anselm in a quarterfinal round game at the Bryant Turf Field this Wednesday. Bryant, 10-4, is the No. 3 seed of the tourney. Bryant juniors Shaun Leddy (Sea Girt, NJ) and Lauren Carlisle (San Diego, Calif.) lead the Bulldogs with 38 goals apiece. Freshman Delia Glover (Marston Mills, MA) is next with 33 goals and 28 draw controls? Southern New Hampshire: In just their third season as a varsity sport, the Penmen have qualified for the six-team NE-10 Tournament. SNHU finished tied with Bentley for fourth place in the league, but will be seeded fifth and travel to Bentley for an opening round game. SNHU went unbeaten at home (5-0) this season en route to a 7-4 overall record. Freshmen Maura Murphy (Candia, NH), Libby Parent (Hinesburg, VT) and Jennifer Parro (Ipswich, MA) have accounted for 95 of SNHU's 136 goals (70%) this season. Murphy has totaled a program-record 40 goals and 49 points. Parent stands at 34 goals and 48 points and Parro has totaled 21 goals and a program-record 18 assists? Saint Michael's: Seniors Kristen Palazzo (Armonk, N.Y.) and Noel Smith (Somers, Conn.) played in their final collegiete home game at Saint Michael's on Saturday. Over her four years, Smith has collected 132 ground balls, while earning a goal and four assists, in 55 games. Palazzo currently has 121 career points which places her sixth on the all-time program list. Her 83 goals put her eighth, and she is fourth on the all-time assists list, just nine shy from tying the all-time record? Assumption: Senior midfielder Jenny Mongeau (Westboro, MA/Westboro) scored three goals last Saturday against Adelphi (tying her career-high vs. Adelphi) on Senior Day and finished her illustrious career with 188 goals, 33 assists, and 221 points. Mongeau will leave Assumption as the all-time lacrosse career leader in goals (188) and points (221). She ranks third in Northeast-10 women's lacrosse history in goals and points, behind Stonehill's Katie Lambert '03 and Erin Acone '06. Mongeau scored at least one point in 51 of her 53 career games (started all 53 games), scored 3 goals or more 38 times, and recorded five or more points in a game 24 times. Mongeau also holds the freshman record for goals in a season (43) and second for freshman points (52) (teammate Jenna Goldstein holds the freshman record for points in a season ? 56 points). Mongeau owns freshman game records for points (10 at Southern Connecticut, 4/2/03), goals (7 vs. St. Anselm, 4/27/03), and assists (4 at Southern Connecticut, 4/2/03). She is the only Greyhound to have three 40-goal seasons and two 50-goal seasons. Sophomore attack Katie Kistner (Needham, MA/Needham) had a career year for the Greyhounds as she finished the season with 19 goals, 8 assists, and 27 points (all career-highs)? American International: Junior Lindsey Wolfe (Westfield, Mass.) and sophomore Shannon Burke (Billerica, Mass.) moved into a fifth place tie on the AIC career scoring list last week, as each has totaled 76 points over their career. Wolfe, whose 22 career assists place her third in school history, has totaled 54 goals and 22 assists over her career while Burke, who has 62 career goals, good for fifth in school history in that category, has totals of 62-14-76. Sophomore Caitlin Mooney (Wilbraham, Mass.) is right behind the duo, as she sits in a tie for seventh in school history with 74 points (59-15-74).
