Northeast-10 Player of the Week

Amanda Simeone, Merrimack (Jr., M, Nashua, NH) - In a 1-1 week, scored 13 goals and recorded two assists for 15 points. Scored five goals and had an assist for six points in a 16-15 triple overtime loss at Bryant and then rebounded for eight goals and an assist for nine points in a 20-5 win over American International.

Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week

Amanda McGeachey, Stonehill (Jr., G, Saco, ME) – Posted a 1-1 mark with a 3.50 goals against average in 1-1 week. Had three stops in a 19-0 win over American International. Added a pair of saves in a 7-5 setback to C.W. Post.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Mia Basile, Merrimack (Fr., M, Hampden, MA) - In a 1-1 week, scored eight goals and had three assists for 11 points. In a 16-15 triple overtime loss at Bryant, collected six points on five goals and an assist. Scored three goals and recorded two assists for five points in a win over American International.

Weekly Honor Roll:


Liz Goddard, Bentley (Jr., M, Acton, MA) - Scored nine points in a 24-7 win over Franklin Pierce. Scored four goals and recorded five assists in the win.

Kellyn Riccitelli, Bentley (Sr., A, Cheshire, CT) - Scored nine points, netting five goals and recording four assists in a 24-7 win over Franklin Pierce.

Caitlin Hansen, Bryant (Jr., M, Spring Lake, NY) - Scored 10 goals in three games last week including four in an overtime win against Merrimack. Netted a goal with 16 seconds left to help force overtime. Would also score four against Adelphi, including the 100th of her career.

Shaun Leddy, Bryant (Sr., M, Sea Girt, NJ) - Scored 10 goals in a 2-1 week. Scored five goals in a win over Saint Anselm and scored four including the game-winner in overtime against Merrimack. Also had 11 ground balls and four draw controls.

Kelsey Johnson, Saint Anselm (So., M, Byfield, MA) - Had seven goals and one assist in two games last week, including five goals and an assist in a loss to Bryant.

Allison Kownacki (Jr., M, Orange, CT) – Scored 16 goals and recorded two assists in three games this past week. Scored five goals against Adelphi and Assumption and then scored six goals against Southern New Hampshire.

Carole Lee, Southern New Hampshire (Fr., A, Derry, NH) - Totaled seven goals and nine points in a 2-1 week. Scored once in a loss to Merrimack, totaled two points (G, A) in a win over Assumption and totaled five goals and six points in a win over Southern Connecticut. Scored seven goals on just nine shots.

Maura Murphy, Southern New Hampshire (So., A, Candia, NH) - Totaled 10 goals and 15 points in a 2-1 week. Contributed three points (2 G, A) in a loss to Merrimack, five points (3G, 2A) in a win over Assumption and seven points (5G, 2A) in a win over Southern Connecticut. Scored 10 goals on just 13 shots and recorded her 100th career point during the week.

Jennifer Parro, Southern New Hampshire (So., A, Ipswich, MA) - Totaled 14 points (3G, 11A) in a 2-1 week. Contributed three points (G, 2A) in a loss to Merrimack, five points (2G, 3A) in a win over Assumption and equaled her own school-record for assists in a game (6) in a win over Southern Connecticut. Recorded her 100th career point during the week.

Liza Gross, Stonehill (Fr., M, Loudonville, NY) - Registered six goals in 1-1 week. Recorded a pair of hat tricks in a 7-5 setback to C.W. Post and in a 19-0 victory over American International.

Michelle Kelly, Stonehill (So., M, Mendham, NJ) - Netted a goal and six assists for seven points in a 1-1 week. Had three assists in a 7-5 setback to C.W. Post to go with a goal and three assists in 19-0 victory over American International.

Weekly Notes:

ASSUMPTION: Junior attack Jenna Goldstein (Duxbury, MA/Duxbury) became the 5th Greyhound to record 100 career points with a goal at Southern Connecticut last Tuesday night. BRYANT: Junior Caitlin Hansen (Spring Lake, NY) scored her 100th career goal against Adelphi on Saturday.

SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE:
Southern New Hampshire closed out the regular-season at 10-3 overall (8-2 NE-10) and recorded the first double-digit win season in the four-year history of the program. The Penmen were ranked 10th in last week's IWLCA Division II poll, marking the program's first-ever appearance in the national Top-10. Sophomore Maura Murphy (Candia, NH) and Jennifer Parro (Ipswich, MA) both recorded their 100th career point during a win over Assumption Thursday. Parro, who already broke her own school-record for assists in a season earlier this year, has also established a new record for points in a season. She has totaled 64 points (19 gls, 45 asts), breaking the old standard of 56 points set by Murphy last spring.

STONEHILL:
The Skyhawks are ranked third in the IWLCA Division II national poll for the fifth straight week and in the top 10 for the 69th straight week, saw its 15-match winning streak end with Friday's setback to top-ranked C.W. Post in a match-up of the top two squads in NCAA North Region play. The winning skein matched the third longest such streak in school history. Last Tuesday's win over American International marked the second shutout this season and the seventh all-time in Stonehill history and also extended the Skyhawks' Northeast-10 winning streak to 67 straight. The winner of Monday's Stonehill-Bentley showdown in Easton will earn the top seed in this weekend's conference tournament and will serve as the host institution.
