Northeast-10 Player and Freshman of the Week

Liza Gross, Stonehill (Fr., M, Loudonville, NY) -Netted a hat trick in the 11-8 setback to the eventual national champion C.W. Post in the NCAA national semifinals.

Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Amanda McGeachey, Stonehill (Jr., G, Saco, ME) - Made five saves in the 11-8 setback to the eventual national champion C.W. Post in NCAA national semifinals.


Weekly Notes:

STONEHILL: In making its fifth appearance in seven years in the NCAA championships, Stonehill has fallen to the eventual national champion (C.W. Post in '01 & '07, West Chester in '02) when it has not claimed the national crown itself. Both of the Skyhawks' setbacks this spring came at the hands of C.W. Post. The Stonehill Class of 2007 finished with a 69-8 overall mark that included four Northeast-10 regular season and tournament titles as well as the 2005 NCAA national championship.
