Northeast-10 Player and Freshman of the Week

Tamara Bender, Bryant (Fr., A, Mount Vernon, N.H.) - Scored 11 goals in two games last week including a seven goal performance in the team's win at Merrimack. Followed with four more goals in the 15-9 win at Saint Michael's.

Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week

Christina Guglielmo, Bentley (So., G, Fair Haven, N.J.) - Made 48 saves in three games for a .558 save percentage and 12.67 goals against average. Earned the win after making 20 saves at Assumption.

Weekly Honor Roll:


Caitlin Mooney, American International (Sr., A, Wilbraham, Mass.) - Scored six goals and had two assists versus Assumption. Had three goals and an assist against Georgian Court.

Shannon Howard, Assumption (Jr., A, Norfolk, Mass.) - Recorded 10 points (7 G, 3 A) last week. Scored four goals and added an assist in a win over American International. Had two goals and an assist versus Bentley. Recorded a goal and an assist versus Georgian Court.

Jaclyn Griffin, Bentley (So., M, Barrington, Ill.) - Scored eight goals and added four assists for 12 points in three games this past week. Netted four goals and added an assist in the 15-7 win over Assumption. Tallied four goals and three assists in a pair of games against Stonehill and Adelphi. Also won 12 draw controls and picked up seven ground balls.

Caitlin Hansen, Bryant (Sr., M, Spring Lake, N.J.) - Scored eight goals in a pair of games and added an assist for nine points in two wins. Had four goals and four ground balls in a win at Merrimack and followed with four goals and one assist in a win at Saint Michael's.

Lauren Stille, Franklin Pierce (Fr., A, North Quincy, Mass.) - Scored 11 goals and recorded six assists for 17 points in three games last week. Had four goals and two assists versus Keene State, then ended the week with five goals and three assists against Southern Connecticut.

Kelly Pasquantonio, Merrimack (So., M, Plainville, Mass.) - Totaled eight goals on the week after registering a pair of four goal performances in two games.

Brynne Curran, Saint Michael's (Sr., A, Cape Elizabeth, Maine) - Scored 10 goals and one assist in the midst of a 1-1 week. In a 23-6 win over American International, scored seven goals and had one assist and five ground balls. Against Bryant, scored three goals.

Courtney Wakem, Saint Michael's (Sr., G, Tiverton, R.I.) - In a 1-1 week, tallied six saves in a 23-6 win over Franklin Pierce and eight in a 15-9 loss to Bryant. Against Bryant, tallied seven saves alone in the first half.

Grace Martha, Southern Connecticut (Jr., M, Cheshire, Conn.) – Had nine points (six goals, three assists) in three outings and had 15 groundballs this past week. Recorded five points (three goals, two assists) against Southern New Hampshire and followed that up with a hat trick, eight groundballs and five caused turnovers in a win over Franklin Pierce.

Libby Parent, Southern New Hampshire (Jr., A, Hinesburg, Vt.) - Totaled six goals and five assists in a 1-1 week. Notched three goals and an assist in a win over Southern Connecticut then registered three goals and four assists against Stonehill.

Liza Gross, Stonehill (So., M., Loundonville, N.Y.) – Had seven goals and two assists in a 2-0 week. Scored four times in a come-from-behind win over Bentley and three times in a win over Southern New Hampshire. Also claimed nine draw controls.

Weekly Notes:

BRYANT: With her nine points last week, Caitlin Hansen (Spring Lake, N.J.) is fourth all-time in school history with 167 career points and needs six to move into third place.

SAINT MICHAEL’S: After scoring three goals against Bryant on Saturday, senior attacker Brynne Curran became the all-time leader with 158 career points scored. She now holds both the program mark for career points and career goals scored (129), having broken the latter a week ago with seven goals against American International.
