Co-Northeast-10 Players of the Week
Erin Bazinet, Stonehill (So., F, Charlton, Mass.) – In a 2-0
week, had one goal in the 3-0 victory over Bentley. Added two goals
in a 6-2 win at American International.
Lauren Boyd, Stonehill (Sr., F, Sandwich, Mass) – In a 2-0
week, scored a goal in 3-0 win over Southern New Hampshire. Had two
goals in the 6-2 win over American International.
Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Shannon Rowan, Merrimack (Sr., GK, Fair Haven, NJ) - Posted two
shutouts in as many matches this past week, making nine saves and
getting two victories.
Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Ashley Alnwick, Merrimack (Fr., D, Groton, MA) - Anchored the
Warrior defense this past week and headed in two goals in a 2-0
victory at Le Moyne.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Diane Pascale, Bryant (Sr., F, Plymouth, Mass.) – Scored a
second half goal to help Bryant preserve a 2-2 tie with Saint
Rose.
Gabriela Demoner, Franklin Pierce (Sr., M, Curitiba, Brazil) -
Netted two goals for four points in two matches this past week.
Scored a goal in the 2-0 victory over Le Moyne and netted the
equalizer in the second half of the 1-1 draw with UMass Lowell.
Brittany Ester, Franklin Pierce (Jr., GK, Toms River, N.J.) -
Posted a 0.45 GAA and .889 save percentage, while averaging four
saves per match. Recorded a shutout against Le Moyne.
Heather Macedo, Merrimack (Sr., D, New Bedford, Mass.) - Assisted
on all three goals this past week in two victories.
Katelyn Breault, Pace (Jr., M, Andover, Conn.) - Totaled three
points (1G-1A), including netting the game-winning goal in a win
over Bentley.
Alexa DAgostino, Pace (Fr., GK, Highland Mills, N.Y.) - In a win
over Bentley, allowed one goal and recorded nine saves.
Mary Kate Heavey, Saint Anselm (So., F, Medfield, Mass.) - Scored a
pair of goals, including the game winner, to lift Saint Anselm to a
2-1 double overtime win over Saint Michael's.
Molly Cole, Saint Michael's (Sr., GK, Dover, N.H.) - In two double
overtime games, recorded five saves and a shutout versus Southern
Connecticut.
Katie Murphy, Saint Michael's (Fr., F, Woodbridge, Conn.) - Scored
the double overtime game-winner in a 1-0 win over Southern
Connecticut.
Kelly Guerin, Saint Rose (Fr., M, Sutton, Mass.) - Scored in a 2-2
double-overtime draw versus Brant.
Ashley McGuire, Saint Rose (Sr., M, Fishkill, N.Y.) - Had one goal
and one assist in a 1-0-1 week.
Lauren Steinberg, Saint Rose (Sr., GK, Hopewell Junction, N.Y.) -
Made 11 saves in a 1-0-1 week with an .846 save percentage. Allowed
her first goals of the season in a 2-2 double-overtime draw at
Bryant.
Katie Didio, Southern Connecticut (Fr., GK, Vernon, Conn.) - Made
nine saves while allowing only one goal in two games this past
week. Posted a 1-0 shutout against Southern New Hampshire.
Tanekar Alexander, UMass Lowell (Sr., F, Warwick, R.I.) - Scored
the lone goal in a 1-1 deadlock with Franklin Pierce.
Weekly Notes:
MERRIMACK: With the win at LeMoyne, has assured
itself of a winning season for the 24th consecutive year which is a
NCAA record.
SAINT ROSE: Senior midfielder Lindsay Bove made
her 75th consecutive start, she needs just six more to become the
College's all-time leader in games started. Meanwhile, the Golden
Knights are unbeaten following 13 matches for the first time in
school history.
