Northeast-10 Players of the Week

Gabriela Demoner, Franklin Pierce (Sr., M, Curitiba, Brazil) - Led the Ravens to a 2-0 week with six goals and an assist for 13 points, recording a hat trick in each win. Scored three goals in the 4-0 victory over New Haven. Collected three goals and an assist in the 5-2 win over Southern Connecticut.

Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week

Kara Smith, Bentley (Fr., GK, West Springfield, Mass.) - Posted a 1.23 goals against average and .880 save percentage, earning a win and a tie this past week in two double-overtime games.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Jennifer Pearl, Saint Anselm (Fr., M, Stoughton, Mass.) - Led the Hawks to a pair of wins this past week. Scored the first goal in a 2-0 win over American International and then had the game-winning goal in a 2-1 win over Pace.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Lauren Matysiak, Assumption (Sr., GK, Holden, Mass.) – Made five saves to record a shutout in a win at Pace.

Ashley McMahon, Assumption (Sr., F, Bethel, Conn.) - Scored the game-winner in a 1-0 win at Pace.

Bridget O'Malley, Bentley (Sr., M, Milton, Mass.) - Scored twice, including the golden goal, in a 2-1 overtime win against Saint Michael's.

Laura Siever, Bentley (Jr., M, Plymouth, Mass.) - Scored a goal and added an assist in the 2-2 tie with Saint Michael's.

Jessica Clark, Bryant (Jr., GK, Barnstable, Mass.) - Picked up a shutout victory in the 1-0 win at Merrimack. Made five saves in the game.

Tricia Spada, Bryant (Sr., M, Dedham, Mass.) - Scored the game-winning goal in the 1-0 win at Merrimack.

Jenna Giardina, Franklin Pierce (Sr., M, Pittsfield, Mass.) - Totaled two goals and two assists for six points in a 2-0 week. Had a goal and two assists in a 4-0 victory versus New Haven. Also scored a goal in a 5-2 win over Southern Connecticut.

Jamie Gillis, UMass Lowell (So., GK, North Billerica, Mass.) - Stopped nine of 10 shots on the week and had a shutout against Southern Connecticut.

Shannon Rowan, Merrimack (Sr., GK, Fairhaven, N.J.) - Stopped 17 of the 18 shots faced this week, posting a 1-1 record.

Kelley Ruch, Saint Michael's (Jr., F, Woodstock, Vt.) - Scored the game-tying goal in a 2-2 draw with Bentley.

Kailey Egbert, Saint Rose (Jr., F, Camp Hill, Pa.) - Had four points via two goals in a 2-0 week. Scored twice in a 3-2-overtime victory at American International.

Laurie Boland, Southern New Hampshire (Sr., M, Worcester, Mass.) - Recorded a game-winning goal over Le Moyne. Added an assist in a 2-1 2OT loss to Bentley.

Sabrina Cataldo, Stonehill (Jr., F, Saugus, Mass.) - Scored the game-winning goal in the 1-0 win over UMass Lowell.

Alex Eckhardt, Stonehill (Sr., GK, Marshfield, Mass.) - Registered 10 saves this past week. Had four saves in the 1-0 loss to Merrimack. Denied six shots against UMass Lowell to claim the shutout.

Weekly Notes:

ASSUMPTION: Senior keeper Lauren Matysiak recorded her 30th career shutout last Wednesday in a 1-0 win over Pace.

BRYANT: Saturday's win over Merrimack was the team's 15th of the season, tying a school record for wins in a season set by last year's squad.

FRANKLIN PIERCE: Jenna Giardina notched her 50th career point with a goal in Saturday’s win over Southern Connecticut and now ranks 28th on the program’s career scoring list. Senior All-American Gabriela Demoner is just four points shy of becoming the 11th player in program history to reach 100 career points.
