Northeast-10 Player of the Week

Angelika Johansson, Franklin Pierce (So., F, Falkenberg, Sweden) - Played a role in seven of the Ravens eight goals with six goals and an assist for 13 points on a perfect 2-0 week. Netted four goals in the NE-10 quarterfinal win over Saint Anselm. Added two goals and an assist in 3-0 victory over Stonehill.

Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week

Katie DiDio, Southern Connecticut (So., GK, Vernon, Conn.) - Recorded two shutouts this past week, increasing her season total to ten. Tallied a total of 11 saves in the two games.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Christina Cuffari, Saint Rose (Fr., M, Brick, N.J.) – Scored four points in a 2-0 week. Scored in the season finale 3-1 win over Pace. Then, scored the lone goal in 1-0 victory over New Haven in NE-10 quarterfinal action.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Leah Leavitt, Bentley (Jr., M, Holliston, Mass.) - Scored just 1:30 into the game against Saint Michael's. Set up another goal that tied the game at two in the first half of the same match.

Kristen Cilley, Franklin Pierce (Sr., M, Belchertown, Mass.) – Recorded three assists for three points in a 2-0 week. Set up the match winner in 3-0 win at Stonehill.

Brittany Ester , Franklin Pierce (Sr., GK, Toms River, N.J.) - Averaged four saves per match while not conceding a goal in 171:47 shutout minutes of action in a 2-0 week. Stopped seven shots in 3-0 victory at Stonehill. Made one save in the win against Saint Anselm in the NE-10 quarterfinals.

Amanda Panaro, Franklin Pierce (Fr., M, Rockland, Mass.) - Scored in the Ravens 5-0 victory over Saint Anselm in the quarterfinal round of the NE-10 Tournament.

Jamie Gillis, UMass Lowell (Jr., GK, North Billerica, Mass.) - Recorded 12 saves on a 1-0-1 week. Highlighted the week with nine saves in 1-0 triumph over Merrimack in the NE-10 quarterfinal.

Teal Bryan, Saint Michael's (Fr., M, North Yarmouth, Maine) - In the regular season finale win, registered a goal and two assists.

Shannon Murphy, Saint Rose (Jr., GK, Charlton, Mass.) - Held opponents scoreless in 135 minutes of action during a 2-0 week. Stopped one shot to chalk up her fifth shutout of the season in a 1-0 win over New Haven in an NE-10 Quarterfinal match.

Hailey Huntington, Southern Connecticut (So., M, Wallingford, Conn.) - Recorded the game winning goal in the 1-0 victory at the University of New Haven in season finale.

Nicole Burton, Southern Connecticut (Jr., M, Warwick, N.Y.) - Scored the game winning goal in the 2-0 win against Southern New Hampshire in the NE-10 quarterfinals.

Grace Larsen, UMass Lowell (Sr., M, Newburyport, Mass.) – Scored in the 100th minute in the 1-0 victory at Merrimack in the Northeast-10 Championship quarterfinal.

Weekly Notes:

FRANKLIN PIERCE: The Ravens placed four players on the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America District I teams released last week. Sophomore All-American Angelika Johansson (Falkenberg, Sweden) was selected to the first team, while junior back Rachel Smith (Chichester, N.H.) was named to the second team and seniors Brittany Ester (Toms River, N.J.) and Melissa Hagmire (Livonia, N.Y.) were picked to the third team. Ester extended her postseason shutout streak to 841:47 as Franklin Pierce has posted nine-straight postseason shutouts (850 minutes) after Sunday's 5-0 win over Saint Anselm.
